I love how Prudence was willing to save Merilwen from the eels, and that she was willing to sacrifice Egbert to do this.

I like how the fishmonger's response to being kicked in the balls twice and robbed is to acknowledge fair play on Corazon's part

Egbert saying "Not today, Death; maybe tomorrow?" sounds less like a triumphant taunt and more like scheduling an appointment

There's so many little things I love about the OX crew. Andy's laugh, Ellen's facial expressions, Mike's "down for everything" attitude, Luke's hilarious social commentary, Janes blood thirsty murderous hunger, and last but not least Johnny's "just vibes".

Johnny didn't have to open their soul for the bit, but they did, and I'm eternally grateful. If only young Johnny had had an eclectic group of misfit adventurers giving their aid.

Dob praising Jonathan while drawing a pentagram is maybe one of the funniest moments in the series

For some reason, I really want to see Jonathan Bennett and Alfred Strangetide as NPCs in an adventure together.

Ellen's "I'm so sorry" followed immediately by Jane saying "No you're not" killed me 😂😂

Just imagine, they could have skipped the entire eel bit of the adventure if they just thought "Hey, since everyone believes there are eels in the lake, if we just reveal that there are no eels in the lake, then they could only conclude that Bennett must have destroyed all the eels in the lake, giving him credit."

Johnny brought the fish puns on themselves by demanding Merilwen come up with an excuse for the fish shop.

I was really hoping Dobb or Corazon would say, "Prudence, when someone asks if you are a Great Demon, you say yes!"

I like the idea of The crew slowly building a lake dungeon

The beautiful image of the guild at 42:23 fleeing Ardent Keep in panic, screaming, in the below formation, was a treat: - Prudence lugging a bag full of angry, dying electric eels - Egbert occasionally jolting with latent electricity, showing off his skeleton - Corazon being chased by an angry fishmonger who's screaming 'Guards! Guards! There's a maritime pervert over here!' - Merilwen, furious at the ecological devastation and mortified by the terrified gasping words of suffocating eels - Dob, running away from Merilwen, dragging a confused Jonathan with him

This has very big 'end of term' energy, after the relatively serious acting moments of Legacy of Dragons. They're really letting loose and going insane. I love it so much!!

27:30 Clearly Corazon has forgotten about that one time near the end of Exhibition Impossible where The Skeletons carried the guild to The Joyful Damnation whilst saying mean things like, "Your father still wished he'd had you killed!" Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, he might have repressed that memory.

I love Johnny sort of checking with Dob about the order to look for a cave with the crystal what's-it, and then having the skeletons proceed to start destroying the Tangle. Even before Merilwyn mentioned that the spell was still active I was wondering if she was hearing them get hacked to bits. I really, really should know better, but I was actually talking to the vid as if they could hear me and asking why the hell they did just kill the one what's-it instead of going through all the trouble of bringing in a 2nd one to fight with the 1st one. Bringing up the orphans again is so good and I love how Johnny somehow managed to forget about that. "You make all my ideas sound like bad ideas." That had me wheezing even harder. Never change, Dob. Lavash Mauve and "reveal myself to the boy" is now the funniest moment. I swear this is probably the most chaotic episode yet. I know there's always chaos of some sort, but they really were in their element when it comes to chaos with this one. I adore Johnny's backstory about the origins of this Oxventure and of Jonathon Bennett. Yesterday was a rough day at work and I'm not sure how tomorrow (Sunday) will go, so I very much needed the many laughs this gave me.

Yet so cute too. x'D lol Also: Uhhhhh, Luke? Wasn't the deforestation already the toll? I mean: You said to fan out and search the woods. They decided to chop teh woods down and cause a forest fire. That's quite a bit of devastation so, quite a toll upon the woods. xD lol Also: Wouldn't they just have to wait till the cute Crystal Quaggoth has taken a poop and than just take the gem eyes from the dung? xD lol lol, time for Jonathan & Egbert fan fiction. xD lol I see, well: I guess the moral of the story is never lie about what you have or haven't done when applying for university huh? xD Btw: What are you guys gonna do with D&D now though. one of the great things about the oneshot nature of most oxventures is that now and then the gang end up doing something that doesn't quite make sense for any of their characters (like helping a student they've never met with some tasks that don't benefit them) and you just have to assume that each of them assumes one of the others is getting something out of this and that none of them will question it
