Hey man, I’m progressed about the same as you, I’m currently sitting at G2. I’m loving it so much. I’ve wanted to do this since I was 5, I’m 24 now. Stay safe out there driver.
I was at Stevens in 2005 and when you got done with trainee/trainee following five weeks with your trainer, you were given your truck and you hit the road. Sounds like they have gotten stricter.
I'm about to go through Tennessee truck driving school and they are hooking me up with Stevens. I would love to have someone like you as my trainer when i get set up on the job
Congratulations I’m currently in my local community collage to get my CDL. And thinking of joining stevens transport. I’m a state over from texas so being close to home is a plus. And heard Loya of good things about them. Do you know what kind of training I would be given if I was to come in with. CDL but no experience.
You would come to orientation for 4 days then be paired 1 on 1 with a trainer to get 240 driving hours of training which will take on average 5-6 weeks. After training you come back to Dallas for 3 days of Grad classes then get assigned your own truck to go solo.
At Steven’s transport they have both Peter’s and Ken’s can you choose which one you prefer I really want the Peterbilt 579 with the 80in sleeper could I tell I want that
So I start orientation next month after the orientation you go OTR with a trainer for 240HRs when do I go home? I live in VA and I know the orientation is in Texas
