Great analysis. I agreed with everything. Sliding down from 11 to 10 not only netted us a free 4th and 5th rounder but also saved us $250k in salary cap picking Olu at 11 instead of 10. Seems like peanuts, but it's still a benefit.
Hey BJF, great stuff, I agree with your grades all the way through Davis. I have seen film on Stiggers on youtube, the dude's a ball hawk and I believe he has a legitimate shot of making the roster. As far as Key goes, there's not a lot of film but he looks like a decent tackler from what little there is to see. Of course, in these montage clips, they don't show you the bad stuff.
Man, we lined up on so many of these it kinda startled me...loved ur assessments though, and highly agree on your thoughts with the double-dip @ RB...Davis way more likely to make the roster vs drafting a different position there, especially with Izzy trying to prove his value in gap-scheme...good look BJF
I’m with you on the Oliver pick, people overreact to these late picks too much, he might have a role being RB3 with us and most of the time the late round picks don’t make the team.
Jalen Keys intriguing because he was a walk-on and yet Saban trusted him the whole year for Alabama so you're right he'll probably make the practice squad but I can see him in some games
Cool ty I agree great risk but overall still enough talent top bottom in league kc balt Cincy r issues .we have front talent and back up we don't drop in talent very much. And players can help sp teams overall can't bitch lady n fellas jet green flows through the venis forever...
i hate letting Bryce Huff walk. dumb franchises let young ascending players walk for nothing and then trade high draft capital for older players playing the same position like Reddik. hope it works out though
@@TheBigB22 you missed my point which is i rather have Huff AND keep that 3rd round pick. also, you should checkout Reddik's history. He broke out in year 4 just like Bryce Huff just did.
@@TheBuffaloJetFan and that's what stupid franchises do. should have extended him then. Huff's talent was obvious to everyone besides the Jets front office and coaching staff
@@kirkykirky In a perfect world yea I’d love to keep huff but u gotta remember this teams gonna have to pay sauce, garrett, AVT, jermaine, breece, potentially carter, re-upping Quincy and reed. Paying almost 20 million a year to a situational pass rusher is probably not the smartest move when you have this much young talent that deserves second contracts.
Why? Easy way out to blame the coach, I get it but what has he done specifically? Free agents WANT to come to NY. The MORAL is high and the players genuinely want to be here. If you’re blaming him for the dead ball penalties that might be valid. I know Hacket last year was laughable but can’t move on without seeing him w/ AA ron. O line coach should have been barred from the facility but was that a COACH or GM decision ? He’s a players coach absolutely but I think the culture is 100% better than it was before JD took over and no one influences CULTURE more than the HC. Js 🤷🏽♂️
