for all those who don't know why halle is wearing a red cap in graduation rather than the black one, I googled that in university of alabama students with more than 4.0 gpa gets that red cap. CONGRATULATIONS HALLE FOR DOING SO WELL IN COLLEGE AND SUCESSFULLY MAKING THIS RU-vid CHANNEL AND AWESOME RECIPES. I remember watching your earlier videos and seeing you struggle in college but look how far you came. So proud of you
That last bit really hit home- started uni, and it feels like there's no one else around me that I genuinely want to be friends with or have enough in common with. I need some Halle's in my life.
I know you said you owe (some of) the brightness of your future to us, but you owe it to yourself. You did all the hard stuff, the creating, the editing, the sharing, the experiencing, it all begins with you. I feel like it can be hard to give ourselves the credit we deserve, simultaneously being so full of life and doubt, but just know that we are only praising and acknowledging you, because all of your evidence speaks for itself. Your content is amazing, authentic, and really peaceful. I'm glad to be a passerby, getting a glimpse of your magic, in this vessel I'm borrowing for my earthly journey. Big thank you for your effort, and the love you put into showing the world just a little bit more of who you are.
One year out of college and been going with the natural flow of life. It is an amazing feeling to not have homework! Pat yourself on the back you have accomplished so much during college!! I have watched your videos since you were a freshman and you really helped me stay true to myself during college. You are an inspiration to many and you will continue to be I know it. Thank you for giving your followers a shout out at the end. it felt so personal and inspired me to share how i felt with you. keep pouring your light into this world as you attract it all back. Love you too Halle and safe travels this summer!
Just came to say that I’m a 38 year old wife, mom, and daughter that genuinely loves you and your content. You calm my anxiety immensely. Thank you Halle for being you. Never change my sweet girl because WE ALL LOVE YOU! ❤😊
Amen!!! I’m 74 yr old grandma of 5 and have so enjoyed Halle’s ideas and thoughts. I came from the 60’s, and it’s been fun to see college life thru her eyes. ❤
the “I’m excited to get out of Alabama” for me, is so comforting. Growing up here and being formed in this culture, where I am insistently made to feel different and as if I don’t belong is both the worst and most rewarding feeling of growing up in this state. It’s simply so nice to hear someone else say it, even though you’re not familiar with the same experience-- it is just nice to be validated by someone “similar” to myself. Or at least someone I feel I can identify with in some way❤️best of luck to you! You did it❤️you made it
Congrats Halle! You're going to go far! As one of your older followers here, (turning 62 this month), my advice is if you're lucky enough to still have grandparents around, keep close to them, listen to their stories of youth and advice if they offer it. They are true gems! Keep close with your parents as well, even if your life takes you on a myriad of paths, away from them. I miss my grandparents and parents so very much! I treasure the precious times spent with them and the advice they offered; although, I didn't always take it to heart. They all love you and want the best for you, but also don't want to be forgotten. All the best to you, dear Halle, wherever life takes you! 👏✈️⏳️
I’ve been here since the beginning! I’m so proud of you-I’ve seen your confidence GROW incredibly. It’s like you said-this channel, as well as other social media platforms-have allowed you to have such confidence. I can go back and see the three-minute video you posted about your oatmeal for breakfast and your iced coffee with the wonky straw and then compare it to this one-the changes are drastic. I appreciate you letting us in on your life for so long, and I cannot believe you’ve graduated!!! As a 31 year old, I wish I could go back and do post-college in the first two years different. I jumped right into my job, which was great, but I was scared that if I didn’t, I’d never find a job. I’m now realizing that I should have taken a year to just embrace life. To travel more. I am a middle school librarian, so I get the summers to travel, but still. I wish I would have done a whole year to myself and then applied for the job. But there are reasons for everything, and I just want you to know that you are doing it right-figuring out your path a little at a time. And I am SO proud of you!!!!
Congrats on graduating university. One of the things I always said to myself and just recently to my nephew (who start high school this year) is to take life with a grain of salt the good, the bad and the unknown. I am in my 30s I am officially going deaf and I know one day I won't be able to walk well. I take the opportunity while I still have these things working and enjoy them.
i've missed you so much halle. seeing you thriving and enjoying life via instagram stories/posts make me so happy. of course i wish you posted videos as much as you used to but it makes these sporadic uploads so much more special. i love you so dearly. really needed this vid today
Can't believe you graduated. I remember finding your channel like it was yesterday, but it was over two years ago now. Thank you for sharing your life and your college experience with the internet. It has helped me get through mine alongside you. One more year.
As a 32 year old who just stumbled upon your channel and recently went through the roaring twenties... Let me offer a few words of encouragement to you and the comment section: 1. You'll take yourself, others and your life way too seriously than it really is. That's fine. Still, keep that in the back of your mind to reach for in those especially hard moments. 2. The career will sort itself out. Try your best and that's enough. (Really.) 3. Enjoy it while it lasts, it goes by in a blink of an eye. Wishing you well and - congratulations!
As a 31 year old, I couldn’t have given any better advice than this! 👏 My career has only been established within the past 2 years and I’m so glad about this. Every job I’ve worked and everything I’ve done has led me to where I am now and prepared me for it. I know for a fact I couldn’t have done what I do now in my early/mid 20’s
I promise you, the "destination" is always a letdown. 90% of The fulfillment is in the journey.... just like all the cliche quotes talk about. And once you've succeeded at your most wildest dreams... It's absolutely terrifying to realize immediately that you don't feel any happier. You don't feel any different. And on the contrary... Because now you don't have things to motivate you to the same level. Seriously, even if immediately after college you surpass all of your expectations and make more money than you could ever spend... You'll be amazed how unfulfilled you feel. The process is where all the enjoyment comes from. Once you reach the destination it's always such a huge letdown. our brain enjoy the process of hunting/gathering. As someone in my mid-30s who was business-minded and ruthlessly goal oriented even in high school..... I've started, failed, and succeeded at many different businesses.....From a wide range of professional disciplines. Ranging from regular failures, to huge Blockbuster success, and back again... Multiple times. You'll realize that even after your most wildest dreams come true... The fun was in getting to the destination not the destination itself. Try to keep that in the back of your mind, and it will help greatly.
getting this notification instantly put a smile on my face; both happy for hearing from you again, and for this special moment in your life! congrats, halle!
hey halle :) just wanted to say i have appreciated your videos so tremendously over the last couple of years. while I am a couple of years older than you I feel incredibly aligned with the way that you exist. innocent and calm with a gentle chaos to ya. almost, just almost, a walking oxymoron. i've never quite seen another person exist in such a way, so you've allowed me to feel more assured of myself so thank you
Can’t believe you’re graduating. Been subscribing you since you live at college dorm, def my fav! Congratulations on your graduation halle! May your future be bright as your smile xx
Congratulations Halle!! 🥳 Been watching you since your early college days and it’s been a joy seeing you flourish through college. I hope you continue to make content!
Congratulations! I am so proud of you!!! I’ve been watching your videos since you lived in that freshman dorm, and can’t believe you graduated already!! You’re going to do great things. Have fun in Europe!! 🩷
This is such a late comment, but you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing in your 20s: figuring it out. Don’t be too distressed on not knowing what to do. I am in my 30s and even with schooling and trades and experiences, i think the biggest takeaway is knowing that one should kind of… idk never settle - because if we settle, we risk becoming stagnant and we kind of … forget how to learn. Always strive to learn. You don’t have to be good at anything but being yourself, Halle. I promise you, things fall into place when they are ready. Good luck to you and we are so proud of you in all you do. ❤️
Halle, I'm a new viewer, but one who's grown quickly fond of you as a person. I never understood the power of parasocial friendship until now, but I am SO PROUD of you! Seeing your journey condensed into videos that I've binged over the last two months has given me a bit of nostalgia for the college years I never had. :) I'm so excited to see what you do next! Your 20's are gonna be a blast -- and when you hit 30, you get to have even MORE fun!
Congratulations Halle!🎉🎉🎉🎉 here since lockdown, i must say that the last bit of this vlog made me a little emotional... I know that great things are coming for you, in the meantime enjoy Europe! Love from Italy ❤️
Congratulations! I graduated 5 years ago and my 20s were absolutely horrific. You seem to have a familial background of support and friends to be there for you that I didn’t. Anyway, I think you’ll be fine Halle! Enjoy Europe, you deserve it!
Halle you are such a good energy, I abandoned studies but seeing you appreciate all the little moments on this process made me felt like I was there with you for a sec I know it sound crazy but you always remember me to look on the simple good things of life and all of its moments and is very inspiring ! Lots of Love and light for you and all. Congratulations and let's keep going up up up !
I graduated last week and your vlog is so relatable to me! When i was watching you talk in the end, it teared me up! IDEK you but i just lysm!!! you're one of my favorite vloggers!!
Congrats on graduating Halle! Been following you for a couple of years now, and it's so nice to see you figure out life, as I am doing the same thing as a 24 year old. Your videos are true pieces of art and for me represent "being human" in the most beautiful way. Enjoy Europe!
weren't you just in your dorm yesterday😭😭 i cannot believe i've followed you since the beginning where tf did time go ! i'm so proud of you and you're gonna do great things girl❤ you're a literal radiant of light
I’ve been watching your vlogs since you’ve started them and I’m so proud of how far you’ve come 🥺 I’m so excited to see all the things you do! You’re one of my favorite comfort RU-vidrs/ tik tokers 🫶🏻
as a almost 28 year old, 5 year plans just don’t work in my opinion. life doesn’t go to plan and that’s okay. sometimes it takes us on a different route that we may of never realised we needed. have ambitions, make memories and enjoy the bumpy road your 20s set you on. ☁️💌🌲
Congrats Halle!!!! started watching your vids when you were in your 1st year, and like others I found so much comfort in them, I don't wanna go into too much detail, but you were trully such a breath of fresh air to my day Congrats, so proud of you
CONGRATS HALLE!!! I have been watching you for years now and I really loved watching your channel through the Quarantine days. I know you will do great things :))
I just graduated today! this video has been up for a few days and I have been trying to put off watching it (which is basically impossible for me) until I come back home from graduation. I feel so lucky to have found your channel, and it feels so beautiful to kind of share graduating with you? I'm so proud of us, and indeed, Halle, your future is bright 🧡✨
Congratulations Halle! I’ve been watching your videos for so long and I’m so happy for you to get this far. So proud of you and thanks for your content which is so honest and fulfilling. Your future is definitely so bright and great things await for you
I love Echo and the Bunnymen! I took my dad to see them for his birthday... although they are not so much in their peak anymore and halfway through the gig they decided that they could not continue due to back ache. This did mean however that they rescheduled and we got to see them again, so technically we got 1 and 1/2 concerts for the price of one !!
I don’t usually comment, but wanted to say I would 100% buy a cookbook by you the minute it’s published!! I’m vegan and always so inspired by the recipes you come up with
Thanks for the awesome videos and always putting a smile on my face for gosh knows how many years. Take care and enjoy your trip and what lies ahead for you :)
congratulations halle i love u sm!!! im so glad to have watched you grow and evolve and continue to evolve :) i wish you the best on your trip and i cant wait to see all the clips that you film
Woww Halle!!!! I'm so freaking proud of you.😢❤ I love you and wish you the absolute best in this world. I can't wait to get your up and coming cooking book. Have fun on your trip to Europe. Be sure to soak it all in
I’m not a vegan, however I’ve always appreciated the moral/ethical idea of what veganism can bring to our society. I sometimes do eat a vegan meal once in a while, just recently I found out about vegan fastfood and tried it, and loved it, lol. However your food looks really enticing and I can’t wait to try a recipe or two.
Hi Halle! been watching your channel since you started and have been following your journey along with mine because I just graduated college too! Life is uncertain, post grad life is weird, but im wishing you all the best!
You have a great future ahead of you, I like that you’re humble, I wish you a successful life, I feel you’ll be good at anything you put your mind to, love you!
Congratulations on your accomplishment. Now I would not take a full year off before figuring out what to do next, maybe six months because time's going to fly by so fast from now on. Good luck Halle!
never thought about being a director? because your filming style is so unique, love watching your videos cause they are like short films(sorry for bad english but i’m italian🫂)💗
As you were going through college I was going through high school and this video happened to be posted on my graduation day. It might have been a coincidence but I take as a sign. Love you!
Congratulations on earning your Bachelor's Degree Halle. And I think that you are right to say that Ur scared & excited-to-get-out-of Alabama. Still "dilly-dallying" gorgeously & a "Great believer" in moving forward, as always. Keep us posted whenever you can💖
Go with your heart and gut. Not with your mind making first decisions. Your mind makes you crazy sometimes👍👍 and nor allways the happiest. And also remember everything in life is a just a Road your following. If you feel Like the Road is the wrong Road for you, Stop wait at the red light and make a turn, right or left.
