I think the principal of the school is slowly becoming my favorite character in this rags to riches. Not because she's all that involved, but because of how terrible at her job she seemingly is haha! So far in this let's play, we've caught her playing video games in her office, sneaking off to the nurse's office to cry in the beds, and now she tried to give Reginald detention while seemingly ignoring the teacher doing something wildly inappropriate on campus. I can't wait for Reginald's kids to attend high school so we can keep seeing what new antics she gets to lol
Imagine normal sim Sidney hearing fairy tales about the "scary immortal evil witch Column who placed a curse on her infant son to keep him a child forever", and Reginald casually saying "that's me".
@@leedesfleurs yeah I agree! If the dream home decorator let’s play was anything to go by, I think Column was more than happy to keep taking care of Reginald. She kept him as a baby for like, 50 parts! 😂
Hot tip for college: make a study buddies club where the activities are to do homework (under kids activities) and to be friendly with one another. It's good for keeping friendships alive, and you can get homework boosts which help you to complete homework way faster. You can also get research and debate boosts, but I don't think you really need it at this point.

The next child should definitely be the wild child party goer. Having lived with Reginald for so long they want some excitement so they never end up like their dad . But maybe they are secretly naturally smart and part of the chess club so they lead a double life at school.
The thought of Reginald not being invited to his graduation but just deciding to show up anyways is so hilarious. He's like "I WILL graduate today like it or not." He really does enjoy making every social interaction as awkward as possible for everybody, huh (I.e. making out of Sydney in the middle of the living room, pranking the lockers of unsuspecting students, getting into fights with the school bully). I feel like Reginald is lowkey a menace under the disguise of being socially awkward. I like it. Maybe that's why he wasn't invited to his own graduation. Also I'm super excited for University!!
Maybe that's why everyone was trying to get him to graduate early. They want to get rid of him because the more confident he becomes, the more trouble he's able to cause.
It reminds me of my own graduation, not gonna lie. It was online so during the first half I wasn't sure they would actually call my name, 'cause I didn't even get a personal e-mail, just a general "if you're graduating this semester come to the event"

I never go into other people's houses, and after reading this, I never will, because I am terrified of what lies inside. I've been playing with aging off, story progression on, and I've been answering "Yes" to the messages of people asking me if they should try for a baby.
Tip for anyone: Put the birthday candles on the cake BEFORE storing in the fridge and your sims won’t automatically take a slice when grabbing leftovers 🎂
They can still eat it. If you click on "get leftovers" any cake in the fridge is fair game even with candles on it. It's a bug, but the only surefire way is to buy a selling table and store it in there or store it in the household inventory. Selling table acts like a fridge and you can store the selling table in your sims inventory. Household inventory stops spoiling completely.
Hey James. Beware, even with LittleMsSam's mod for roommates, you will need to apply to university for each one of the kids you want to attend college with before you can add them to the dorm. So, I would move all the kids into one house and have them apply for uni at the same time, rather than jumping from household to household to do it. If you have 8, You should be able to add them to the same dorm (deleting random sims that show up in the dorm).
I'm concerned Sydney has a drinking problem, first going to the bar instead of spice festival, then drinking at graduation before getting his diploma...what's next !
The reason there are many babies is because neighborhood stories allows families to have babies on their own but auto-aging is off so they have babies and then never age up
@@LivinInSim agreed. I also changed certain townie household story progressions to stop having kids. They have insane amount of kids with story progression now. 😅
I always try to enroll in uni so that I get there on a friday. That way I've got three days to get all the homework, presentations, or papers done and I don't feel so stressed out during the week. Each new term starts on friday night, so I can get a jump on everything over the weekend.
Hey James, in order to get to your own graduation, you have to ask another sim about graduation (it's on the high school option in the pie menu). Once you've done that it'll show up in your calendar.
enrol on a friday after 9am. You get your subjects straight away and the whole weekend to get a head start. Your exams and results will be fridays too.
Yes, they will walk around naked afterwards as well. It seems the sims forgot about adding the kids or teens are around check for that trait. They might want to fix that.
You should change that nudist teacher (Kenta Hara) so all his outfits are prison uniforms, lol. Like he’s on work release from prison every time you see him from now on.
I'm not sure how it works in larger schools, but I went to a very small high school (35 in my graduating class), and on game days the team players would dress up or wear their letter jackets or there would be a Spirit Day where everyone would wear the school colors in support of the teams. I believe that is what is happening here on the cheer and sport event days.
i’m glad i’m not the only one with the “shower in the rain” issue. idk why but my sims REALLY wanna shower in the rain, no matter how clean they are and no matter who’s around (like children, family members, strangers, etc) and it’s annoying.
I’ve really enjoyed this LP so far. I find it hilarious that the teacher who showered naked in the rain was the teacher who gave Reginald his detention 😂 can’t wait to see what the gang get up to at university!
The best day ever: firstly, the teacher is going around naked, then he showers in the rain. After sometime, Reginald is caught pranking a locker by the same teacher and he has to serve detention, the minute the bell rang, the same teacher is taking a shower in the rain (TWICE) 🤣🤣 The Sims 4 for you, people 😂😂 Reginald should break up with Sydney and try to date other sims just like in real life when you have a partner in high school and then you want to experience something new in university... that would be interesting and realistic!! 🤔 James, you are fantastic at these gameplays! Hey semaj! Reg is gonna have kids soon so I think it would be a cool challenge to max out their toddler skills. I wanted to let you know which interactions make it the fastest! Movement - the slide! You can get them energized by feeding them cake which also helps. Thinking - “watch” the adults! This one stinks because you have to queue it up. But it’s easy to make them happy using a fruit/veg from their inventory. Imagination - have parent read to them! This is especially good if you have more than one toddler, as everyone can join in. They get playful from the slide often! Communication - giant stuffies! This is pretty well known broken, but if you eat a fruit/veg first it will be busted! Hope this helps! I also play with having all of my children achieve every childhood aspiration, but that is a lot harder. I’d be happy to give you tips with that too, though! Good luck :)
@@EP1CxEMAN08 one tip I can give you is for the communication aspiration. Put it of until the end, befriend the 3 kids first by taking selfies with them. By that point you'll hopefully have developed a positive reputation which will give you a headsstart in befriending the adults. Furthermore with the aspiration points you'll have accumulated by that point you'll be able to afford the incredibly friendly trait in the reward store
in american schools (at least my experience), you would wear your football jersey/cheer uniform on a certain day every week. for my school it was every thursday

If you had clicked in your sim, there was an option to put your graduation gown on. Get graduation click on your sim again and your can throw your cap in the air!

I think you can talk to people and say "claim to be prom royalty" and they will vote for you. I have no idea if it works, but I feel like my sim became royalty when I had used that interaction.
If you want to unemploy the teacher, you could try doing shift+click "add to household" and then immediately "remove from household". He can't be the teacher if he's in a played household (as demonstrated by Dr Gluon), but obviously you don't want to live with him because he's a creep.
I feel like Reginald is the type of guy who stuffs his schedule full of tours and activities when on vacation and low-key ruins it for everyone else. "We gotta eat breakfast no later than 630, leave by 7, get to Six Flags at 8--"
I wonder if Reginald not being invited to graduation was to do with him ageing up beforehand? Because Sidney was aged up at graduation so maybe it does it before you go? Not sure! Great video as always, James! You never fail to make me laugh!
I hope he takes his guitar and knitting basket with him beside whatever else you are going to have him take, bed, computer, etc., so he has something he can make some money with, without having to have a job. Maybe before he goes to university, have him buy a one title desk for his computer and for a chair, you could use one of the folding chairs with the desk, unless you decide to buy him a chair for his desk. This way he has everything he will need for his dorm room before he goes.
For future reference, you can put birthday candles on a cake *before* putting it in the fridge, and then no one can eat it, and it lasts longer. I use the same cake for a couple weeks’ of age-ups in my 100 baby challenge 🤣
The cake bug happened for me too. Reloading my game can fix it, but if not here's some other fixes: change the type of table the cake sits on, so a differrent dining table or counter top. You can also try baking a different cake until it works. Hope this helps!
Wonders why James didn't age Sydney up with the cake...every since I learned I could age up my sims childhood friends with them I've been throwing parties with their whole friendlist lmao
I do that as well. I think he did mention that, right when he started trying to age Reg up, but that whole thing was so glitchy that he didn't get around to it. I was hoping he would realize there might not be enough room, and he did. It also looks like the students come to graduation already aged up, so that's good to know.

I've seen in other LPs that y'all age up your Sims before graduation and don't get invited to the ceremony, so I think you're supposed to remain a teenager until graduation...
Graduation only happens after the sims ages up. They can’t have graduation before they age up. It’s programmed into the game to happen after they age up.
Graduation only happens for Young Adult Sims. As James said in the video, it happens the Sunday after you age up. It's buggy currently I believe hence why more often than not people aren't getting invited/it's not on the calendar.
I am really looking forward to seeing the rest of Reginald’s life! I think that the dorm shouldn’t be all high school friends, university is about meeting new people. What if that’s the opportunity for Reginald to find someone who treats him better than Sidney?
Yeah YIKES that teacher definitely has the erratic trait, otherwise there is no way they would shower in the rain autonomously, let alone get naked in front of minors for it. I hope EA sees this, because that is a nasty oversight.
@@seiichii Honestly, the way people carry on about children/teens in this game, you'd think they were real people with human rights. I think some people have 'immersion' problems.

Who would have expected Reginald to be such a compelling character but honestly the monical he was rocking in werewolves should have been the first sign he was always meant for great things. James. Whatever you do, do NOT try to kill off unwanted sims with the cheat option "Kill with Mad Bunny" or whatever it was called. Even if you target another sim with that, the command kills your currently played Sim. So if you had tried to get rid of the teacher with that, Reginald would have legit died. This happened in my game when I tried to get rid of Judith the celebrity who was ruining a scene where my Sim was trying to make friends at the pier
Kid: Trick or treat! Reginald: This is a house in the middle of nowhere, how did you- Kid: Look do you have candy or not? Reginald: * sighs and gives candy *
James I’m not sure you’ll see this but an easier way to increase fun is to listen to a Sims favorite music ! It goes up rapidly faster than the bike riding !!
"Uh there was a dress code? I didn't know we had to pick up our gown beforehand.... " I actually had a student so this for their graduation this year so I am imagining Reginald is like this too. Super smart.... But not *all* there.
