GRADUATION EXAMS BEGIN! || KAKASHI VS BORUTO! || Boruto REACTION: Episode 36. This Boruto reaction started the graduation exams for the class to become Genin's! The whole class split apart into different groups and tried to achieve the goal of passing the exams! Mitsuki fought Shino, AND WON, Sarada and Sumire fought Konohamaru, the rest of the class fought Chunko, and Boruto 1v1'd KAKASHI!

Don't forget that Boruto is also Neji's nephew aka the OG genius. Back in OG Naruto they said that Neji learned every Hyuga jutsus all by himself. I can see the similarities with the talent and cockiness of Neji a the beginning of OG Naruto

Kakakshi was that way because his father died so he had in his mine to follow the rules or your scum because his father didn't follow the rules and was treated like skum for it. Boruto doesn't follow the rules, cares about his friends and will break the rules for them and is talented, but not stuck up about his talent. He was jsut ignorant about the Shinobi world and Naruto and a Shinobi responsibility. kakashi suffered many losses making him the way he was when he was in the anbu. Yep, at this point the only thing in his whole arsenal that isn't self-taught is gentle fist. Shadow clones, gale palm, lightning kunai, boruto stream, etc etc are all things he picked up on his own. He's already picked up a second chakra nature besides his natural wind affinity, without being taught a single jutsu by anyone else.

Boruto got his genius from Neji (who is self-taught for a lot of secret Hyuuga techniques) and Minato (who once beat out even Itachi to set a record in the written Chunin exams without cheating and also invents his own jutsu and immediately mastered Kurama Chakra Mode with cloak). Still believable for him to learn shadow clones and elemental techniques by himself. Boy's doing pretty well. He actually got acknowledged by Kakashi as Chunin-level, power-wise (even Sasuke was only compared to genin standards at the same age).

Same shit with Kakashi and his clones, every time he uses them you always know when he took advantage of the situation to confuse the enemy.

Metalija Boruto wins almost every single fight with little to no difficulty. He already has two chakra natures when he wasn’t even supposed to have one at that age to begin with. He learns shit without training which makes no sense. That’s principally why a lot of people hate Boruto, as a character.

@heisuten this is my personal guess, boruto probably learned it from seeing naruto do it and picked it up that way. So technically he is telling the truth when he responds to kakashi, Naruto never taught him the shadow clones but he did learn it from him.

I always loved these episodes. They'd have been a good starting point for the series, since it really establishes the characters' personalities and skillsets, and also how shinobi have changed in the era of peace, with the academy being so selective and genin candidates being highly skilled but not understanding the danger of the job.

I think the reason why the Chunin exam wad so easy in naruto's and kakashi's era was that the village need to pump up man power as much as they can. If you have deasent Chara control, you'll learn the rest of it with your Jonen sensei or in the battle feald. But now, because theres no urgency to pump up more soldiers, the test became harder to compensate that. At lest thats what I think.

Bossmangamer No it's not, Naruto created thousands of shadow clones in the first episode after reading the scroll and seeing the sign to make shadow clones. It's not a hard just you to learn. And you have to make a clone to past the academy not a shadow clone. The shadow clone was a forbidden jutsu made by tobiramma

Bossmangamer and if you watch someon you see the hand sign and you attempt the jutsu. Since shadow clone doesn't require a certain chakra nature you don't even have to have a certain chakra nature to do it. And if you make the sign for shadow clone and you infuse your chakra a clone automatically appears even if it isn't a fully manifested perfect copy clone. We've seen this multiple times. And the funny thing was I wasn't undermining boruto in anyway 😂
