He’s a man who truly understands how valuable human life is. And he knows that to protect as many young lives as possible, he can’t let just anyone become genin.

Boruto may be a genius, or very impressive in terms of skills. But he's naive, over confident, haughty or impulsive. It's as if he had skills like early Sasuke but an attitude of the early Naruto. And that wouldn't end well unless he act mature than he acts now. Especially the Over confidence. Cause as they said, slightest mistake could end in death, and most of the time mistakes are made because of being too confident.

Boruto already masters two nature styles and have good taijutsu skills, his intelligence is one of the best in class and he doesnt even is a gennin yet, he sure is a genius

I love these graduation exams and having Kakashi supervise them. The writing part shows again how Boruto is a genius, even in combat. U have a big misunderstanding Suzy . Kakashi Just don't acknowledge Boruto as a shinobi because he has not any purpose for his ninja way . Boruto has Neji's Intelligence and his behavior is just like Naruto but Naruto,Neji,Sasuke,even Urochimaru they have them own goal good or bad and because of that they could survived at hard situations and they never giving up on that. But Boruto hasn't any valuable motive like the past generation to make him passing the wall that he can't at any cost. Actually this generation is more talented Compared with they parents but as Jirayia said at OG the most important thing for a shinubi is not his/her skills , but that is brave and not giving up. This is the biggest problem of Boruto's generation .
