I live in Citrus County, Florida and can tell you, I tried HARD to find a home in Polk County. I can't say he's why there were essentially no homes available, but there weren't. Florida had been inundated by people from darn near every liberal state (not said to start a political conversation, but those who came here were vocal as to why they left their states of NY, Connecticut, Jersey, Pennsylvania etc post Covid). Homes were hard to find in general, but unless you were a millionaire, Polk was sold out. I do believe people like me wanted to live in this county because of Grady Judd. He doesn't mince words. He is a hard core Constitutionalist and loves his citizens. My northern friends continuously ask me about him (in good ways) and comment how much they love him and want him to be their Sheriff. We absolutely appreciate him more than you can imagine. It would be great if he was our President! This country needs him terribly!
There are thousands of unwanted children- there will be many more now that young girls will be forced to bear unwanted children. Education & an enlightened system to support young mothers is desperately needed.

Most of them know that saying things about a case the way Judd does is not a good thing to do….its a case that isnt close to finished being investigated and he throws out his opinions and then says basically if u get an attorney after being arrested its a big ole clue to being probably guilty!!!! Getting an attorney is smart no matter who u are in any case….’..this crap only could happen in Florida I swear. He is simply tainting a jury pool.

Abused adoptee here as well! I was from the foster system. Wrongful removal. It was more profitable to take me and adopt me out than to provide my mom the help WE needed. It’s government sanctioned human trafficking. Kids and families aren’t the focus because there is money involved.
dont worry. we KNOW. i know that an adopted child is just a paycheck for the family that houses it in most cases especially when the family has more than one adopted child and when they even have their own biological children it's even more of a red flag

In this instance though, I don't know what kind of person makes a comment like yours. It's not funny, even a little. A 4 year old little boy was abused and tortured, ultimately died from it, and was thrown into a pool with his hands bound behind his back. This situation and what this little boy went through, is just horrific, and I can't understand how someone could possibly think it's something to joke about or comment something like you just did. I find it hard to believe that the husband was unaware of the abuse. Not reporting abuse almost always carries the same charge as if you committed the act of abuse.

husband and I tried to adopt many years ago...we kept moving down the list because...we already had children. I thought the fact that we had 3 grown children, 2 in the military, one in college, productive citizens, home owners, just missing having littles. So...this rubs me so wrong.. We would have gladly, even older now, driven up to pasco and taken him to a loving home. There is a special place in hell for his mama...
I have friends who were turned down for adopting a baby because they’re too old…she’s 48 he’s 54….they had been trying for a baby for 25 years, she had many rounds of IVF….they own a very successful business, their mortgage on their gorgeous house is paid off…they are unbelievably kind and generous people, who do so much charity work…..they can easily afford to not work…any child in their care would thrive and never want for anything…but they’re not allowed to adopt a baby, instead they’re given to abusers, and people just looking for financial gain…the world’s a very sad place sometimes
Not being able to care for a child in a place with overwhelming poverty and violence isnt "not wanting" a child. She may have thought she was doing the right thing for her child. We will never know.
It sounds like the adoptive mother wanted all the financial aid she would receive from this adoption. The older 16 year old would soon lose her his contribution.

It’s a suspicious adoption. I don’t know what the Biden program is about but now I’m researching. How could someone initiate an adoption for someone else. Children being moved across countries or continents under suspicious circumstances is in correlation o human trafficking. That’s just a fact. I don’t see how any two people can’t agree on that. The definitive details may differ from one situation to another but as a generalization it can be questioned.

I hate this argument. Wanting kids doesn't make you a great parent. Plenty of people want kids and abuse them anyway, or are incapable of providing what kids need. Wanting is just human selfishness. Adopters are often abusers too, infertility doesn't make you any better than any other person. I've seen several trials of agood old doptive parents recently who have beaten babies to death for crying too much.

@@Rls_0523 In this very tragic case, sadly law enforcement could not intervene but I believe that his department's efforts help protect many potential victims of unspeakable crimes. I would also like to think that with every press conference he hopefully dissuades even 1 monster from crossing a line that should never be crossed. That's what I was saying.
I just gave birth to a girl who’s about to be 2 years old and have been talking to my friends and family about adopting a boy instead of having my own so that I can save him. People like this make it hard for the kind hearted people to adopt. How could you do this to a child I literally cried watching this imagining what the poor child went through. He deserved much more than that🤦🏾♀️
The sheriff is very well spoken, and shows a lot of compassion for the little boy and anyone can tell he takes his job seriously, and cares immensely about his community.

This has always happened and happens everywhere. Sheriff Judd sensationalizes it with these press conferences and I imagine makes it very difficult for anyone to get a fair/unbiased trial in that County. And the Sheriff answered the question about why it keeps happening. Not enough preventative prayers for these children.

Laws need to change on Children's services investigations. CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN needs to be investigated by Law Enforcement NOT case workers! If there is apparent and obvious facts and proof of abuse, Make an arrest, charge the abuser(s) and let it be proven in court not through the exchange of case file notations of a children's services case manager delaying the process and allowing the abuse to continue while in the meantime waiting for a call in reporting the death or disappearance of a child.
Interesting choice of words, “A mother who doesn’t want it.” Vs. “A mother who gave her child up for adoption.” It paints the mother as a horrible person for choosing to adopt out. We don’t know why the mother chose adoption. I’m sure it mattered that her son would have a better life.

I had to have a hysterectomy at 26 due to chronic (1 year long) hemorrhaging. The bleeding was so bad that I nearly needed a transfusion. I wanted so bad to have more children. I cannot afford to adopt & then I read stories like this. This is pure evil. This story is about no “mother” but a monster. I wish I could rescue all children & animals that are abused by monsters. Rest in peace little fellow.
There are so many wonderful families around the world who would been so happy to have an opportunity to raise this sweet little child as one of their own.
