Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is holding a press conference following the arrests of two teachers over a one-week span for inappropriate conduct with a child. www.fox13news.com/news/2-polk...
Oh yes it would be a safe place. I lived in Tampa up until August of 2022. This man and the law enforcement of his county and actually the law enforcement in Florida are simply the best. Oh Lordy that hairstyle is to die for.
Reading all these comments about my sheriff sure makes my heart full! He is a wonderful man and an outstanding sheriff. It makes me so happy to see so many across the country supporting him! Thank you!
I'm so proud of this sheriff. He knows all the details and tells a really, really good story, doesn't he? We need all Sheriff's to be more like Grady Judd.
This sheriff is really something. I don’t live in Florida, but I imagine he’s deeply respected and trusted by the public who elected him. Just from him speaking you can tell he’s trustworthy.
He’s a very good cop and an even better politician. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. He loves the camera and he’s very good communicating to the press and the public. Despite being in love with the camera, he’s also generous with sharing the spotlight and sharing credit. Just remember, a sheriff is both an elected politician and a leader of a law enforcement agency. Never forget the politician part, even as you praise him for being a good cop and a good leader of cops. And I’ll tell you what, I respect and admire his political skills as well as his LE skills.
@@MarcosElMalo2 I'm not 100% sure that I agree with Sheriff Grady on everything but I kinda heart him and I trust him. Not many people I trust. Yay Sheriff Grady!
The OG of community policing. Sheriff Grady has never been one to shy away from the public and try to fly under the radar, keeping his investigations and information away from the public. He has always named names, posted photos, and shared facts in real time, and never been afraid to tell it exactly like it is.
Who on Earth is hiring these garbage thugs into our school system ?? Where is the God forsaken supervision ? Some one has to be held accountable for this poor lack of leadership and endangering the children in the Polk County area. What ever happened to rigorous hiring practices and making the safety of our children a PRIORITY once and for all !!!!!!!!!
I wonder if teachers did this back in the day & never caught or our world has just lost most of it's integrity. Remember Pamela Smart? I was so blown away back then & still am.
Thank-you Sheriff for calling these kinds of people out, drawing attention to their crimes against children and their communities. You’re very brave and I am glad that there are men like you still fighting the good fight against the tide of evil that has been destroying our once great country. You are “ Simply the very Best.” 👍
It's we the people have to demand investigations or sue the city for not protecting the citizens the police can arrest the criminals however the District attorney has to prosecute if they don't sue for your tax dollars back
That first teacher was messing with a17 an 18 year old and a 20 year old. Oh great Florida punish punish punish! They want to lock 14-17 year olds up with adults . I wonder how well those kids fare in that environment. Florida loves to set people up so they can pick them up and get votes from all those otherwise unemployable prison guards. I'd rather put up with the crime! Go try living in North Korea and tell me how SAFE you are then.
@@davidscott1340 If she was 18 & still attending school ,it doesn't matter if it was "consensual"! He's a TEACHER! Apparently you don't understand the power imbalance!
Cops, coaches, teachers, Judges... Anyone in a position of authority should face harsher consequences than the norm, if they abuse that position of authority.
21yrs old and a teacher??? What qualifications has he got? He should be in college shouldn't he? I'm pretty sure the quality of the teaching at this school isn't that high.
@@joshuawilke4672... You do realize how ridiculous you sound right, do you even know the definition of Karen, there was no privilege in the comment nor did the person demand anything, Education is important.. lol
This sheriff does a great job of taking complicated situations and giving the public a concise, measured, and understandable explanation of the situation at hand and what he wants from the public.
..and in doing so one would think, he saves the local taxpayers a lotta coin-If every 1000 square miles had sheriffs with balls as massive as Judd's a whole lotta states would have mountains of less bullshit costing everyone money. Moral. Grow some moxie
The best thing about Grady is that he is straight forward with everyone he has said that if you do crimes in Polk county you will go to jail and if you don't have a good time
If it were the old sets of laws before 1980 I'd say alright but these new nonsense laws like that guy being charged over a 20 year old woman is wrong! I'd don't think anybody has any conscience in Florida law enforcement. I mean look at some of these nonsense laws. Next thing you know they will raise the age of consent to 21 or make it a felony for a kid to torture a bug. It's just crazy politics. Look now now you have be 21 to buy a rifle in Florida oh yes prorect the kids.
I was born in Polk county, I lived in Ft. Meade, but moved to Georgia early on. Went back from time to time to visit my grandmother, have good memories from there. Helping her pick oranges, walking by train tracks on a dirt road. Glad they have a Sheriff like Grady Judd.
wait until something happens to you, and your photo is broadcast everywhere, doesn't matter if you innocent and it was a mistake everyone will know your guilty, it destroys a fair trial, these cops know who the bad guys are they don't need to broadcast what they are doing, they just do their thing
Sheriff Grady is a good man, you guys are lucky to have someone like him serving and protecting your community. A man of morals and respect who understands and does his job to perfection.
You know this from watching videos? You are wrong my friend, he is garbage. He refuses body cameras because he is afraid of transparency and accountability. He is a clown…
he refuses to get his officers body cameras. allowing them to get away with breaking constitutional rights during interactions with civilians, and allows for them to lie/plant evidence. i will always bring up this fact because police always say "if you have nothing to hide why don't you let me destroy your car and make a huge mess. throwing your property everywhere." he is a hypocrite.
@@mediocresupport4682 Please list the successful suits for violating Constitutional Rights in Polk County. Yeah, that's right. You can't. Cameras violate your rights. The video of closed cases are 119-able. ANYONE can get that video. Now imagine someone getting the video of some idiot crying like a baby after resisting arrest, injuring an officer and pissing himself being restrained. After conviction - a slam dunk due to the cameras, that gets plastered all over the internet for family, "friends" and future potential sexual partners to get a warning from.
I think Grady Judd is an amazing person😊😊😊 I don't care what anyone else says. He is an incredible Sheriff, cares about the ppl in his County, & he as well as his team work damn hard.
@@mediocresupport4682 gives me hope against people like you that thinks it needs big brother on every corner and hes a true honest person. Gives me hope. Could care less if you have any. 😆 🤣 😂 Thats how the HELL it gives me hope.
What do you mean? Grady abides by the constitution as any law enforcement official is supposed to. Is that what you mean by upholding the constitution? I guess it’s praiseworthy in this day and age when members of law enforcement do their jobs diligently without violating anyone’s constitutional rights. But I’m not sure why you think this has anything to do with Grady Judd’s press conference. I’m trying real hard to understand your point, but I’m thinking that maybe you don’t understand very much about the Constitution, state laws, and federal laws. Grady’s deputies don’t run around enforcing the constitutional. They go after the breakers of criminal laws (state level) almost all of the time. If a federal law has been broken, they hand that off to the Feds, usually after the criminal case has been prosecuted at the state level. Sheriffs only uphold the constitution when they abide by the limits the constitution puts on them. But that’s something all policing agencies are supposed to do, and you might be shocked to learn, almost all of them do. So the high praise you’re heaping on the estimable Sheriff Grady Judd seems weird and out of place. Praise him for his diligence. Praise him for his leadership. Praise him for his folksy, aw shucks press conferences (and his exceptional communications skills). But for upholding the constitution, something every LE agency does? I don’t get it. I hope you’re not one of those nut cases that believes “Constitutional Sheriffs” are a thing in the U.S. Constitution.
@@MistaCen No law enforcement agency wants its officers to violate the Constitution, because cases get thrown out. Even if they don’t get thrown out, constitutional violations make cases harder to prosecute. That doesn’t mean police officers NEVER violate the constitution. They’re human and they make mistakes. But the courts are there to correct those mistakes.
ebrooks, The school system does not Want to protect the kids. If, and it's a big IF they truely wanted to protect the kids they'd Encourage trained teachers to be armed. Works in Israel. Damn panty-waist liberals . . . ☆
The public school system abdicates it's responsibility through legal loopholes. They are their own zones, and private institutions are less legally restrained, so it's a dang mess.
This is why we must do away with the teachers union. It protects the bad and make the good look bad. They don’t do their jobs they are paid for, and many of the teachers are pure evil.
Absolutely Love you Grady Judd and All who work for/with you to keep us safe!!! Many Sincere Prayers for each of you !!! Blessings upon law enforcement everywhere as this world NEEDS More Officer's 2 and 4 legged as yourselves!!!
I am so impressed by Sheriff Judd -- he is a role model for all young men to look up to, to aspire to emulate. He is polite, even while describing complicated criminal histories, and it is evident he is doing the job he was meant to. My hope is that many people in law enforcement are watching so that they too might incorporate some of the techniques shown by the Sheriff. 👍😍💙🔵🙏👟🌊🇺🇦📖
@@57msdeb Duh. They're most often not licensed or degreed teachers, but sometimes they are. They are "substitute" teachers, which is what I called them. I know. I taught for almost twenty years.
Many do not get arrested and get away with it. This has gone on for decades. I knew teachers and students doing this when I was in school in the 80’s. It’s nothing new.
The officers under Grady must feel safe in their jobs and want to do the best job they possibly can for him. I bet the respect they have for this man is off the charts. He is an amazing leader. ❤❤❤
Don’t forget free education, free childcare, assistance with utilities , health insurance, rx’s…my question is why don’t we pay for weave, eyelashes and raptor nails??????
I live in Polk County and voted for Grady Judd. Thankfully we have Grady Judd in Polk County, what a terrible place it would be without him. Thank you Mr. Judd.
Grady is a great speaker, incredible sheriff and even better man. I have a family member who was a deputy sheriff for years and I’m happy to say it was under this man.
You should say the one that likes to hear himself talk the most , the crime rate is higher in his area than they are in the surrounding area he just has more press conferences . it's so sad ppl think he is the greatest only because they like all the press instead of stopping crime

@@bluethunder5694 Blue counties tend to under-report crime. Crime is lower than it was in the 1970's. Funny how criminals and their enabling family members tend to be the only ones griping about Grady.
@@jackhideous6669 Cameras violate your 4th Amendment rights. If you have low-level drugs on a table that you use sparingly and recreationally, without ever committing any other crimes, and a cop with a camera comes to the door to ask about a crime down the street. A review of the camera shows the drugs. They now have probable cause to suspect you of a crime and get a warrant to search the house and arrest you for anything in there. Without cameras, the drugs went undetected and you are not subjected to what, without the camera evidence, would be unreasonable search and seizure. 99% of the time, cameras HURT the criminal. 100% of the time, Grady locks up bad cops.
