Bottom line why would Celtic give Rangers an advantage of having their fans there and then in December, say sorry we are not ready so none of you fans can come to Ibrox. Football is a business and winning the title is all that matters. And anyone suggesting Celtic allow Rangers fans in when Rangers started this whole thing is living in cloud cuckoo land.
@@frankiebhoyz2169 Ok so if they host Celtic fans at the New year game we will do the same in Spring, they started it so let them end it, but Sep game, nah forget that as that would mean we need to trust them and I don't trust anyone who sings songs about being up to their knees in my blood.
What about Neally and Dun ya hun beast. Sent your victims to the liquidators as that was the oldco. Your most celebrated goalkeeper is a rapist. Paid his way out of it in a settlement. You've no moral high ground here filth. And that scum souness never even contacted the police when he found out about what Dunn was doing at Rangers. Poor lad that got abused was let go over it. Know your history ya vile wee creature.
Rodgers is correct always been a Rangers problem,Celtic agreed to sort it but Sevco reneged on agreement, can't even guarantee there own fans will be in Ibrox let alone Celtic fans,it's a totally different issue now
Celtic staff have been hit with objects Celtic fans have been exposed to unsafe conditions broadcasters and commentators have been told by the Rangers board it is unsafe. Celtic are just making sure their fans are going to be safe and they are perfectly correct to do so.
@@johnkerr7613 Just as well we have the money to do so. When Newco took over, Newcos solicitors made a statement that Glasgow Rangers were now bankrupt and would not be paying anyone with regard any alleged offences regarding abuse No surprise there eh. You could not even pay £12 to the face painter. Listen to what your chairman’s telling you you’ll just need to sup it up for 5 yrs to a decade. Reality. is sevco are an irrelevant joke now. Get used to it.
5:50 - It's not an allegation Simon, it's a stone cold fact. rangers entered the top flight in 2016/17 season and for the first two season they lost ALL of the league games that were played at ibrox. This resulted in rangers reducing Celtic's allocation from 7,500 to 750 for the 2018/19 season. Celtic returned the favour in kind by then reducing rangers' allocation at Celtic Park to a few hundred also. After a few games like that, Celtic basically said - There's no point in having a few hundred fans, might as well just make it zero. And that is where we are, Celtic Football club would revert to the old allocations at both stadiums in a heartbeat but rangers simply do not want to do it. A recent compromise was reached for both clubs to make a part of their grounds accessible for 2,000 - 3,000 fans but rangers have not carried out the work. They haven't even applied for planning permission yet.
Of course the fact we constantly pump them at ibrox influenced the decision to cut Celtics allocation but I think it’s an exaggeration to say that was the primary reason. The real reason the allocation was cut was money ( money that Rangers desperately need) . Not allowing Celtic fans in to broomlan road stand allowed them to selll 7000 extra full season tickets that included two games against Celtic. That for sure was the primary reason.
One of the main issues is Rangers haven’t even applied for the relevant planning permission from Glasgow City council. Its taken Celtic 5 months to do the required work at Celtic Park while Rangers are in chaos and can’t even let their own fans when they will return to Ipox
Correct, also, there is no way In hell Celtic as a club can let Rangers fans in for the first game of the season without having confirmation Celtic fans will be allowed into the Debt Dome 2nd Jan.
@@TonyOldskoolexcuse me sow what who started this there are 100 thousand good celtic fans also there is 100 thousand good rangers fc fans. but I know there is 100 thousand Celtic fc bad fans also there is 100 thousand rangers fc bad fans.
rangers haven't lifted a finger to do ANY work regarding the away fan area unlike Celtic who have stuck to their side of the agreement and spent plenty money on it. Its a rangers problem end of story.
@@michaelross4735 😂😂😂🤡 Rangers don’t need planning permission, unlike Celtic everything is already there. As we have it for European games. Our game is four months away. If Ibrox not ready it would be hampden . So more Celtic 🐮💩
If Celtic did not stop the Rangers end at Parkhead none of this would of happened. Bring back the Rangers end at Parkhead and yous can have the Broomloan again...its not rocket science.
@williamgoldsmith3796 He hated sitting in dug out listening to them, but was OK in dressing room and telling players to ' get in there ' when belting out about the Pope and Virgin Mary,
@@arizonabay15Then again, Anton Rogan had potatoes thrown at him on the following Derby fixture. Given the choice of banana or potato as a missile launched my way, I’d want to see a banana every time…
It was sad to see an end to the old firm 12 years ago. The Glasgow derby these days isn’t the same. As a young club this new Rangers club just don’t seem to have the experience to follow though to ensure fans safety.
rangers players and fans have sank so low they now have to resort to celebrating wildly a league cup win v St Johnstone at a half empty hampden park. This is now their level.
@@mcdell6970you really need to try n use your brain. Companies house confirms celtic have been the same company since the 1800s. Yes, they changed their method of trading. They did not liquidate. They paid their debts. However companies house also confirm that the Rangers international football club has an inception date of March 2012…… cos the DID liquidate. Is that ok for you? It won’t be cos youre a braindead deady bear zombie🤣🤣🤣🤡🤛🏻snapppp
I disagree that a Celtic park without Rangers fans is a bad thing. It's just louder and better. I do agree though that a Ibrox without Celtic fans is a worse atmosphere so the best thing for everyone would be to only let Celtic fans in at Ibrox so the rangers fans can stay home watch their team get pumped on TV instead.
They are Missing the point. If Rangers can’t guarantee that away fans will be able to attend the Rangers v Celtic game at Ibrox, while Celtic allow away fans into Celtic Park on September 1st , the Rangers have an advantage, they will need more than that for sure , but an advantage nevertheless 🍀
To put it simply, the Rangers board make a rip roaring calamity of everything they touch. Celtic & Rangers had an agreement in place. Celtic complied. Rangers can’t even get their own fans into Ibrox, never mind away fans. They’re a circus.
`The only simple thing is Simon. If an agreement has been reached by all parties, then the agreed work hasn't been done and Sevco refuse to give a guarantee that it will... Celtic are no longer bound by that agreement. It's void, same as any contractual obligations.
Yea the striking Celtics fans know is when their dad comes home drunk having spent every dollar he made giving handjobs to African men. Lmaooooo four or five strikes is getting off easy.
By that logic, every single Rugby player is also a "thug". Remember, football used to be a contact sport. With both games starting out from the same sport originally.
Aye,hard as nails, from an erra when men were men on the park, with the majority that took a bone crunching tackle got back to their feet and getting on with it, unlike the overpaid fanny's of today, spitting the dumby and rolling around the grass cause the opposing players bootlaces brushed against his shin, big Jessie's.
Souness was probably one of the top 3 hardest players ever to play the game . The difference between him and all the other hard men was he was actually a brilliant footballer too.
Souness never had pace & by the time he played for Rangers he had even less of it. There wasn't a red card issued to him that he didn't deserve during this period.
When Jordan says Rangers should be punished for not having their stadium ready for Celtic away fans, the punishment is that they don't get their own fans in Celtic Park, it's simple. The agreement, as I understand it from Rodgers' press conference, was between the two clubs; not one based on away allocations with the SPFL. Celtic letting Rangers fans in gives them a sporting advantage - Celtic not allowing that is more consequence than any fine or punishment the SPFL could deliver to Rangers for not having their stadium ready, and it is the only fair solution to the problem that Rangers have created - it's a Rangers problem.
I think the agreement required the works to be done by a certain time by both clubs. The work is done at Celtic Park, so Simon is wrong to say that Celtic are reciprocating by not doing it. It's done, the protective nets are up on the Southeast Corner and for some reason, there's another in the northwest corner. Celtic have also installed wheelchair access and new staircases outside for easier access. Rangers only applied for Planning Permission two or three days after BRs comments. The agreement was that both would have their stadiums ready for each other by a given date. BR can't take the chance of giving away an advantage of them getting to come to Celtic Park and us being shut out.
If Celtic let 5% of Rangers fans in to the Parkhead game then Ibrox is not ready in January, the game gets played at Hampden . Yes / No ? Celtic only need to insist that if Ibrox is not ready then Hampden is available to the Celtic supporters in ?
Pogba lit it up at 3 major tournaments and has scored in a world cup final. Sounes played in a Liverpool team which backpassed a 100 times a match to their goalkeeper.
This is all because rangers have been getting spanked by celtic for the last few years and they dont want the celtic fans celebrating in ibrox its so small minded and petty, its a shame because it was the best thing about the fixture
Souness wasn't a hard man. He was a coward. His tackles on George McCluskey and Billy Stark were cowards tackles. Assaults. Likes to think he was a hard man but no way . COWARD
Souness did deserve to be sent off more at Rangers because always being a hard man he was also a very good footballer, he was older and slower thus his challenges [though always robust to say the least], resulted in him clattering into an opponent more often.
Does anyone know what work they actually had to do for this game, i thought Celtic were getting the European team allocation, and this work is already in place, what other work was required.
The Celtic allocation was cut because Steven Gerrard was confirmed as manager, which resulted in unprecedented demand for season tickets for the first time in years following the clubs relegation. Rangers took the decision to cash in on that and reduced Celtic’s allocation to the same as every other club gets. After Celtic took the huff, the allocation was removed completely. It’s that simple. Get it right.
For everyone who didn't know what happened in the beginning, in the Gérard time rangers stopped celtic fans coming to ibrox so they could sell more season tickets for the away end to generate more money for transfers, that's what happened and now we are where we are 😮
It’s rangers who started this by stopping Celtic away fans first, now an agreement has been made and rangers are not keeping up their end of the bargain.
fact of the matter is rangers cannot guarantee the safety of the celtic fans as the improvements agreed have not been made, celtic have made the improvements. it is understandable that celtic have withheld the away allocation until things are sorted as their fans cannot be given the same /fair treatment that the visiting rangers fans would if they were to go to parkhead.
Can't have it both ways, Graeme. Playing the tough guy your whole career and then acting like a bullied victim when it comes on top. Wouldn't catch Billy Whitehurst doing that.
Expectations for a manager at Rangers: you must be the most successful team and win as many trophies as possible 💙 Expectations as a manager at Celtic: try no tae beast any weans 😂
For what its worth, i wish that souness could hjave been a Celtic player.great player and i believe hje has integrity. Too late now but hjje could hjave been their bedrock.
Whether Jordan demands or not, he has no right to make! The Rangers supporters that perpetrated the assault and theft was an absolute disgrace. I'm glad the clud has barred them..
If the Spfl ordered celtic to let fans in they would just say the stadiums not ready and take the fine like Rangers, why would any team give their nearest rivals an advantage in any way?
I love listening to Jordan telling the SPFL board to govern. The SPFL board do what they are told by Rangers and Celtic. They are a joke of an organisation, not fit for purpose
You would think an “outsider” like Jordan would have a more balanced view on this situation. Let’s not forget that therangers’ predecessors didn’t hire Catholics until Souness changed that. Simon Jordan just wants to give them a pass at every turn.
No no no the agreement is a guarantee of support at both stadiums for this season, this’s was agreed the end of last season now one club is saying I’m not sure if we can accommodate away fans but insisting we take their support at away games . Not Celtic’s fault rangers can’t complete works within time. I suspect the rangers people know fine well Ibrox will not be ready but are trying to pull a fast one .
Get your facts right,it’s the Copland road end that the work isn’t finished at yet,the other end is where we have to house them, but if the stadium work wasn’t finished by January,I’m sure there would be some room to house them at Hampden, and last season,Rangers offered them tickets for the first game at Ibrox, and they refused them, and in the second game,Rangers asked for their allocation but were refused their tickets,it a Celtic thing
So you want Celtic to let rangers fans into Celtic park. But when it comes to ibrox or hampden or wherever rangers are playing out of in January, you think people like me who go home and away every single week should be ok about not getting in. If Celtic agreed to those circumstances then they would have their own supporters going crazy. It’s common sense.
Rangers fan here, Souness was brilliant for Rangers but deserved every red he got and went looking for trouble on the park, could have had a red card before he got the Pittodrie red in title winning game.
Souness has a very selective recall of his exploits on the field at Rangers. His first ordering off was for an over the ball assault on George McCluskey at Easter Rd. and his second was for a similar attack on Billy Stark at Celtic Park. 2 of the least aggressive and physical players ever to have a career in top flight football. He chose his victims wisely to inflict maximum hurt with little danger to himself.
I recall when all this began and with no bias either way it was Rangers began this ban on Celtic fans at Ibrox and then Celtic done likewise to rangers fans at Parkhead home of Celtic fc Rangers fans wrecked toilets at Celtic park and some seating and Celtic fans wrecked seating at ibrox . Celtic are willing to allow once Rangers llow Celtic fans at Ibrox and at end of day this really is a Rangers thing who began the ban in first place on Celtic fans ..Rangers have not said they shall have their stadium for safety of Celtic fans ready for Ibrox in January , and so Celtic do not believe them as reckon as i do also that Rangers are just at it , they shall want their fans inside Celtic park yes, but not then allow Celtic fans in Ibrox in saying when time comes , that we are not ready once time comes . Basically Rangers fc are at it , they did begin this ban , and its to them now to allow Celtic fans inside Ibrox and get their section/s for Celtic fans safety inside Ibrox ready and Celtic same rangers fans at Celtic park ready and sure thats been done with Celtic fc , and away get them fans back in , in which adds to that game its not same without . but none this 5% only as well without , whole end as always has been should be plus easier to police i believe one whole end each on away Auld firm games . Rangers alone are ones stopping all this from going ahead ..Rangers began this and should end this now but who cares i dont as i nowadays never go either way ..I grew up and learnt whats sensible . stay away . Though admit not same without away fans them games its boring now .
Graeme talks ten tonnes of excrement so calmly as no one pulls him up for his sociopathy. He could have been sent off 4 times in one game when he played for Rangers, let alone 4 times in the 2 seasons he played there. Far from being persecuted, the SFA bent over backwards to accommodate him. He was a dreadful manager, which only became apparent upon leaving the extreme favouritism he enjoyed in scotland.
