Grafters was a British drama-comedy programme originally broadcast in the UK on ITV from 27 October 1998 to 20 December 1999 for 16 episodes over two series.
Grafters relates the lives of the Purvis brothers Joe (Robson Green) and Trevor (Stephen Tompkinson), who along with their younger cousin Simon (Darren Morfitt) run a successful building business.
The show regularly received ratings of over 9 million viewers and at the time was among ITV's most popular drama series

The writers are all males so, both scenes and scenarios are built upon men’s perspectives of us ladies🤷🏻‍♀️. Give us credit, will ya? 🤦🏻‍♀️ I believe there was an episode written by a female writer though.. Anne her name was I think. Let me check and be back…👋🏻 Hello.. yup, her name was Annie Wood, she wrote episode 3 from the 2nd season. And she was 48 when she wrote it. It’s important to know the age and more of a writer for you see it is all in the mentality. The poor lady is no longer with us, she parted in 2015 and here’s a little thing on her for a mini tribute.. Annie Wood was born in 1951 in Stoke Newington, London, England, UK. She was a writer, known for EastEnders (1985), Family Affairs (1997) and Grange Hill (1978). She died in November 2015.🌸🍃

I don't buy the chemistry between Robson & lady architect . I can buy the pettiness of the guy who wants to control all construction in his city. But it doesn't make for an interesting siory.
