Can you get a cut branch from a fruiting pecan tree and get it to produce root, to get another tree out of it? like air propagation ( if that is what its called ) or root grow? I have 2 pecan trees and would like to know how to do this, thanks great video :D

Thanks I watched the video, but he did not mention of question. * Can you get a scion piece of wood, and make that Root? its own individual tree without a host ? *Also can you use any type of tree family, to graft a pecan to ? will it produce pecans? I will look for your reply thanks;
Our church has a wonderful pecan tree but it is now hollowed out and have to cut down it is end of July can we take scions from it and store till April of next year to graph?
I tried 3 and they all dried up. I think that type of crafting is no good, because you cut the sapwood of the trunk...and from where the scion gets the sap?
