Grafting Rules in Pathfinder 2e Remaster's Howl of the Wild 

My first thought at the Grafting system, "Yay! A ruleset I can use as a base for when my Medicine Expert Character goes to reattach someone's limb they lost!"

Thaumaturge should love grafts. Not only can they boost Investiture massively, they can also override the DC to their class DC once every 10 minutes. And they can get an extra use. "I killed it. I made it part of my body. Now I use it."

Jaws and Claws could be really cool grafts for champions and warpriests of the deities that allow such attacks as their favoured weapon! Show your faith by getting extreme dental surgery!

There are no words that can express how much i love grafts so I'll just share the ones I'll get: Venom Glands and Toxic Blood Venom Glands should have been an Anadi ancestry feat!!!! I'll never get tired of saying it.

Some rules remarks: - Seeking a invisible creature brings it down to hidden, not concealed. - Distracting Carapace is Distracting Performance, with Acrobatics added. - Toxic Blood: Don't forget Sickened prevents them from ingesting. If they have Grab+Swallow whole, they can't use more then Grab. - Tube-Worm comes a level before +1 Resilient Rune. Maybe this should have been a circumstance bonus like the Backfire Mantle, so it keeps being relevant? As it stands it is worthless by 14.

Echoreceptors is actually as long as You can make noise since the soundwaves come from you. Fins are sure to be popular among great pirates.

This is setting up to be the most important book to my party since Book of the Dead! I love Paizo's release schedule, wasn't a fan of Tian Xia's price point for SE but everything else has been amazing!

I like the graft system, this combined with the monster part system from Battlezoo, makes me really keen to do my homebrew monster hunter/mutation campaign, where you gain power from the monsters you defeat. Can't wait till the pdf is available!

I can't say I agree on the level 3 slashing claw, every character by default has a 1d4 agile finesse unarmed attack that deals bludgeoning damage so the only thing slashing claws does is give you an alternate damage type.

Fortitude DC makes a lot of sense for a Graft DC

The tail is a really cool weapon for when you need to go in somewhere unarmed, or when you have your weapons taken.

I’m an expert in medicine. So this popped up and I was excited. I told my dm about it and he said that the recipient would be considered an abboration or freak and may suffer in social situations. I disagree. Many are hidden when not in use. I’m still a few levels away from it so maybe he will warm to it by then.

Piercing Horn: It gives you the option to deal piercing damage. Thus, you may wield bludgeoning or slashing weapons and sort of get Versatile (Piercing).

Gotta love grafting always an awsome way to make science feel awsome and different than magic in the settings.

I feel like many of these would require more than a mere 'expert' in Medicine to complete the grafting process!

Grafts were one of my favorite things from 3.5/Pathfinder. I hope they expand upon this system in later books. Undead grafts?? Aberration grafts??? Let me AT EM.

They kind of forgot the gliding part of Gliding Membranes. Should have called it Falling Membranes since it does not give you any gliding distance. I want my flying squirrel dammit!

I don't like that echo receptors have a range of 40 feet as it breaks the Oracle of flames. You wouldn't be able to take advantage of your curse. Maybe have a player get captured and have this forcefully done to them...

How do you invest in additional items past 10? You said you need high charisma?

Wait, are you not immune to your own venom glands' venom? Do you have to drink from straws and be careful not to bite your cheeks when eating?

the venom glands... it isnt said in the rules but i see no reason why i cant uses, said an action, to coat my own weapon in venom. like that thing when 80s anime villain does when they lick their knives.
