Trust me as an American your homemade taco's are better than Taco Bell (55 years of experience)!!

I worked at Taco Bell for several years and the cinnamon twists are made from deep fried spiral pasta coated in cinnamon sugar!

Garran would love the "Dorito's Cheesy Gordita Crunch". The crispy taco shell tastes like a Dorito chip. 🤤😋 Fun Fact: In Spanish the word Gordita means Little Fatso.

Just a FYI... getting something from Taco Bell as "Supreme" just means they added sour cream and diced tomatoes. As for the Cinnamon Twists... think of them as the texture of Cheetoh Puffs without the cheese, but cinnamon flavored.

The cinnamon crisps are similar to a chalupa, but where a chalupa is crispy on the outside, and chewy on the inside, like bread, a cinnamon crisp is crispy all through, like a cheese puff. I am in my late 50s, and have been eating at Taco Bell since I was a small child. It is definitely not as good as it used to be. They used to cook the ground beef and blend in the spices, fry the tortillas, make the refried beans from scratch, and shred the cheese right there in the individual store. Now everything comes pre packaged from a factory. Also, they used to fry in coconut oil. Thanks to the saturated fats scare back in the 70s, or 80s they switched to vegetable oil, which we now know was a big mistake. They have also discontinued some items that they had when I was younger. They used to have the Bell Beefer which was a burger bun with taco meat, and cheese, and more recently they discontinued selling tostadas. I used to love the beefy tostada which had beans, meet, lettuce, cheese, tomato, and sour cream on them.

When you come to the US, don't eat taco bell. Find a good Mexican or TexMex restaurant and eat there. Taco Bell in the US looks nothing like what these kids are eating.

To be fair i think these were from a taco bell in london which makes it differently, because it didnt really look like american taco bell. Plus you have to eat burritos not tacos, and cusomize them, as a supreme will just come with a bunch of lettuce and tomatoes.

Baja Blast is better than regular Mountain Dew. It pairs perfectly with pretty much any Taco Bell item. Luckily they have made it available in stores now so we can buy it in cans or plastic bottles. It's my go-to whenever I go to Taco Bell. I buy it from the store to have whenever I make tacos or quesadillas at home.

“Supreme” just means the item has sour cream on it.

All of TBell is basically the same 8 ingredients in 14 different shapes

I have seen this Jolly one before, I am so surprised they did not show off any Burrito from taco Bell, they have a few varieties.

Taco Bell used to make you end up on the toilet. That was like several years ago. Cinnamon Twists are just deep fried Spiral Pasta and sprinkled with sugar and brown sugar.

You can make Tostadas (flat tacos), that way you can get meat, cheese and salad in every bite. I use a fork to mix the ingredients in a taco when I eat them at home.

I L O V E Taco Bell! It's so incredible! Now I can customize my food too so it's even better. CHILI CHEESE BURRITO WITH SOUR CREAM is my go to fav. Then customized nachos and a soft and hard taco supreme. nom nom nom

The Taco Bell nachos are the best in the entire world the only problem is the portion size.

Convenience wrapped, Cali-Mex food is pretty good. But I try not to eat out too much now. And when I'm traveling, there really are better choices than Taco Bell. Even if it is pretty good, don't confuse TB gordito with ones those in Mexico. My Spanish has suffered over the years but it is a food & also a term of endearment. 'Little fat one'

If you want good tacos, go to any decent TexMex restaurant. If you want Taco Bell, go to Taco Bell. It is what it is. I get cravings for their soft and crunchy Taco Supremes, get 1 of each, spend $5 and it's not a burger and fries.

I used to enjoy Tacobell when I was younger, but it got to be too expensive for the quality. In Tennessee you can get real Mexican food for just a little more and it is way better. Since I became lactose intolerant a couple years ago I never get Tacobell because there is almost nothing without cheese lol.

Taco Bell is mediocre at best. It's best after a night of drinking. Edit: In Spanish gordita would translate to "a little fat". Gordo means fat. The suffix means small.

Prefer real Mexican food from a Taqueria , only get a craving for Taco Bell once in a great while. Back in the 70's when I was a kid we did the ( White People Taco Night ) thing at home.

Our Taco Bell puts a lot of meat and cheese in there tacos. Each one is different, I guess.

Taco Bell did them a favor by just putting a tiny amount of meat. Here in the States they were successfully sued by other restaurants for calling their meat "Beef" when it was mostly fillers and the actual beef was the dreaded Pink Slime that is leftover from the processing of Beef. The lawsuit was successful and taco Bell was forced to use actual beef. Taco Bell is not Mexican food nor is it Tex Mex. It's a fake food that is horrible if you've ever had real Mexican food Or Tex Mex . I'd have to go out and find some old roadkill to eat just to get the taste out of my mouth! 🤢

Great reaction and thanks for sharing. Taco Bell is horrible, it is what you eat if you can't find anything else. It is an abomination against Mexican or Tex Mex style food. My advice is never eat there. You can make everything they serve there, cheaper and better tasting at your own home. It basically has just a few ingredients. A tortilla made of either corn or flour. Cheese. Meat. Lettuce or leafy green. Sauce. You can also add refried beans. The wonderful thing about this style of food is you can prepare it in many ways. Tacos, tostados, enchiladas, casserole. You can add egg for breakfast. Things like chopped tomato, olive, green onion, cilantro. I use arugala instead of lettuce for better flavor. The spices used for flavoring the meat are: salt, pepper, garlic, ground red pepper. Variations of different Mexican peppers also dried and ground. Cumin if you like it as well. I can literally make tacos for 4 people or 12 tacos with 1 pound of flank steak, cheese, baby arugala, chopped onion, chopped tomato, green onion and cilantro. This takes about 15 minutes to make. The longest part is cooking the tortillas in oil in a skillet on the stove top to get them crunchy. You cut the meat of the flank steak into 1 cm strips, then cut those across the grain into small cubes. Set aside. Dice onions and cut up garlic. Heat oil in a second skillet/pan a very small amount of oil. Cook the onions down, then add garlic. Once that is almost cooked down add the meat. Season meat with salt and pepper. This gives you your basic meat with onions and garlic. Add fresh cut green onion and cilantro to this when it is almost done cooking. Save fresh cut green onion, cilantro, sweet onion, tomato for toppers and arugula. Take your folded crunchy(or soft) shells, take a large spoon, put in meat mix, add cheese, add toppings to flavor. Then drizzle a little of your favorite sauce (mexican style) over the taco. It is delicious. For a cheaper version you can use Ground Beef, you can also use Mexican style ground Chorizo or sausage or Chicken, Turkey, ground or not. There really is no limit for substituions here. For fine dining you can even add sour cream or avocado to the tacos. Most American fast food is exactly that, fast cheap, nasty food you eat because you have no other choice on a busy day. Its horrible for you and they use the cheapest worst ingredients possible. I havn't eaten fast food in ages and when I do it almost always disagrees with my body. But, the good thing is with a little experimentation you can have it at home but using fresh and delicious ingredients cooked with love. :)

Taco Bell is low grade garbage. It is NOT good. However, sometimes I like this trash. After a night of drinking a Taco Bell craving can be strong. I think it is OK to like something as long as you realize that liking something doesn't necessarily make it "good". TB is crap.

Taco Bell is an overpriced, under flavored, poor excuse for Mexican food. If you are headed to theTexas area get some real Mexican food.

Please for the love of God! Stay away from Taco Bell! Twenty years ago when they made everything in house fresh. It was fantastic. But now you're barely getting real meat.
