Shout out to Sabaton giving history lessons to people worldwide. WW2 started on September 01, 1939 when nazi Germany attaked Poland from the sea near Gdansk - the first fight was for Westerplatte. Battle of Wizna was on 8-10 September .

These planes are the Battle of Britain. And the next sequence is the armored division of General Stanisław Maczek, which liberated a large part of Belgium and the Netherlands, and also contributed to stopping the German forces that were heading as support for the German army that was supposed to stop the Normandy landings. Few people remember this, but if it weren't for General Maczek, the Allied landing in Normandy would have cost the lives of many more Allied soldiers or might even have failed.

It is not about the partition of Poland between Russia, Austria and Germany, but about the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact. What you are mentioning was over 100 years ago. The attack on Poland, as you say, began in 1939. On September 1, Germany attacked. On September 17, Russia attacked. The first attack was not the Battle of Wizna, but the attack of the Schleswig-Holstein warship on the Polish military barracks on the Westerplatte Peninsula. It was John Paul II - the first non-Italian pope. You won't have enough time in your life to see historical places in Poland. One of the tourists from abroad said this about Poland: "People here live in a museum." All of Poland is full of historical places. Every small town has historical sites and local heroes.

I would add - till WWII germans stole around 150 000 childrend (blonde and blue eyed only- they even don't know what blood they have till now) and luxury (art, gold etc.) and we did not got any compensation by Stalin decision

6:30 this is Irena Sendler portrayed here - very important person not for Poles, but for humans, I guess. She was hiding Jewish kids giving them Polish names (as shown on the video - Yiddish names changed into Polish ones) and thus saving them from the Holocaust. And yes, Poland was the only occupied country where helping Jews resulted in automatic death, which makes Irena's doings even more praiseworthy.

Yes, they talk abt Battle of Britain. My grand, grand uncle was a founder and first commander of 303. Urbanowicz saved his life and as far I know he was his best friend. His name was Zdzislaw Krasnodębski, alas “King”. Did you ever heard abt him?

at the start hitler saw slavs as equals, germans were even suggesting that they would like an alliance with poland if it agrees to give them a corridor to prussia. Slavs are also considered aryans, germans started saying they're not after their initial idea of handling the east failed and they needed to support their attack

Wedlug tego czego nas uczą - Wojna Wybuchła 1 września (dzieci w tym dniu idą do szkoly, po letnich wakacjach) Według faktów Niemcy zaatakowały nas o 04.45 rano (Westerplatte) Niektóre historyczne Źródła uważają, że pierwszym okazem wypowiedzenia wojny był atak na szpital w miejscowosci "Wieluń" który nastapil o 04.40 - były to pierwsze ofiary 2 Wojny Światowej Rosjanie dołączyli do Nazistowskich Niemiec 17 września (atakujac nas od prawej flanki) ( co nazywamy "nożem w plecy") Co do "Powstania Warszawskiego" i poległych (w większości nastolatków) określamy ten czyn "strzelaniem z diamentów" - czyli poświęceniem młodych (przyszłości narodu) Do dziś wielu spiera sie o słusznośc powstania - nie śmiąc wątpić w podjęte decyzję i oddanie ojczyźnie.

Jak bedziesz w Gdansku to polecam odwiedzic muzeum histori. To muzeum znajduje sie niedaleko Stoczni Gdanskiej. Tam w pigolce pokaza ci historie. Nie wiem czy zdazysz bo sa obecnie bardzo wplywowe sily na swiecie,ktore postanowily historie roznych wydazen usuwac,przeinaczac,zamilczac itd.

Battle of Wizna. It never happened. There is no mention of her in any German daily, report or report. The Germans were stopped by technical problems with crossing the Narew River, and once they did it, they simply drove forward.

No cóż chamie chyba nie te same książki czytaliśmy , poza tym chodzisz po tej ziemi , dzięki wielu "bezwartościowym" ludziom, którzy podarowali Ci wiele lat temu szansę by milczeć , ale nie skorzystałeś ... ciekawe czy miałbyś odwagę powiedzieć to w oczy mojemu dziadkowi który walczył w AK ... coś czuję ,że nosiłbyś zęby w kieszeni ...

@@JanZadykowicz-zj6zr Dobra, pierwsze z brzegu co podałeś "bitwa pod wizną". Ta bitwa nigdy nie miała miejsca. W żadnych niemieckich meldunkach, dziennikach nie ma wzmianki o tej bitwie, podbnie we wpomnieniach dowódcy korpusu niemieckiego też nie ma. Jedyne co zatrzymało niemców pod wizną na 2 dni to problemy techniczne z forsowaniem rzeki narew . Nie było żadnej bohaterskiej obrony wizny.
