Not a big fan of Graham...He ignores the obvious..Shortly, Carlos Munoz' Ferrada's Herculoubus , comet / planet system will destroy the world as we know it..What just wrote is our sun's binarry solar system...The Sun will rise in the West before the end of 2024..War in the Middle East will stop soon..A Truce..All of the world's main players know this...Because little can be done to stop it, it was decided not to tell the global population..They kinda tell ya by releasing shows like this...The Canyon ( I've been there many times is similair to operations in Africa...This was an Anunnaki gold mining operation until the Great Deluge..What is coming is known as an Atlantean event...Example / All islands east of Cuba will go under the Sea.,
I have always respected Graham when he kept telling them he believed the Sphinx was in the great flood. They told him he didn't know what he was talking about because he was not Egyptian.
Graham is a great detective. He’s uncovered truths that give dimension to our story as a species. Chaco canyon shows a lot of symmetry in the Kiva circular energy of the buildings shown are sheer energy sources of feminine power, which is the creative source of nature.
Hancock is a prehistoric fiction writer that combined One World Atlantean Supremacism with Catastophism to make a lot of money playing to popular delusions of The Left and Right.
I have studied Chaco Canyon since 1988. Along with Dr. WILLIAM HOZIE and Phillip Cyr we came to most of these theories at Colorado State University. We were ruthlessly stomped on by the academic gate keepers. I am thrilled to hear this new information.
The similarities in art religion architecture go on and on. I've spent The last 30 years studying religion philosophy and humanities and making these correlations myself.
Probably because there's an entire industry pushing Ancient Alien / Master Race / Culture BS onto the world, that is so obviously false, while lumping everything made in the last 10,000 years to this Global Master Culture by cherry picking and LYING, with sites then ruined by tourism.
Graham Hancock is not a pseudo-scientist, as he is often referred to by questionable mainstream scientists. He is a highly intelligent person and an extraordinary Journalist who possesses the ability to apply critical thinking and common sense to the evidence that is being discovered. Archeology is not an exact science. Mainstream science outright dismisses both oral and written historical records as mythos. Even when undeniable scientific and geological evidence says otherwise. Graham Hancock keeps an open mind and asks extremely valid questions.
@@nunliski The story of the siege of Troy was at one time considered a myth. That is until they found it. Science is never "settled" it is a set of theories that are continually evolving with new evidence.
@@and4all706 Apparently you have not read Fingerprints of the Gods. The amnesia comes from multiple generations around the world living in a constant state of nearly unimaginable terror due to the unceasing earthquakes, floods, eruptions, land shifts, torrential for decades, drastic climate changes and extinctions that were the result of the Younger-Dryas impacts and subsequent effects. The human race very narrowly escaped being erased, and the trauma of living from birth through death in the hellscape that prevailed during that time would have been a quite understandable cause of mass amnesia of everything that came before, as the fight for survival eclipsed all else.
@@and4all706 When a Divine Being, you, decides to experience some reality bubble, you have to create a "forgetter" - shut down your consciousness so you can have the experience, otherwise, what's the point, the gigs up 🙂
Damn straight. If Hancock was just flat out wrong about everything, the academic community would not put this much emphasis on slandering him and trying to discredit him. And having his visa cancelled in Egypt. This is the kind of behavior you see from some one who has something to hide.
yes it does mean just that. people see the earth it flat with their own eyes every day. except it's not true now is it? because educated people can show you the truth based on the knowledge we've discovered. but yet you won't be able to see it with your own eyes. people believe scientology is real. is it? just because someone does believe in something without evidence doesn't make it true.
@@WayneBraack Unfortunately arrogance has a blinding effect, and power has addicting effect, if you combine arrogance and power, it often doesn't matter how much knowledge someone has on the subject.
@@WayneBraack when educated people tell us not to see what is obvious and undeniable just because whoever THEY learned from didn't recognize what they were looking at, someone needs to stand up and say "hey! Look again!". A lot of those old theories that the accepted academia would like to keep set in stone couldn't even be tested in the ways we have tech and knowledge to test now.
Made a rude comment and checked out At about 2 min Yeah it’s on Netflix and even if you don’t agree with blah blah yada whatever That’s the first 3 min
My respect for Hancock is based on how much work he does to uncover possible truth. Agree with his ideas or not, at least he keeps an open mind and admits he is not 100% sure about his conclusions. Archaeology like science is the pursuit of truth, and once minds are locked in the pursuit ends.
Those who are 'trained archeologists', etc. refuse to accept any other ideas other than their own and what they have been trained to accept because it would destroy careers and the institutions that propagate the narrative most are led to accept, no questions asked like so much in this world. Graham Hancock is a breath of fresh air.
He has been going to ancient sites for over 30 years, if you did that and started seeing stuff around the world that looks similar you might start asking yourself why?
You're first sentence is repeating Hancock's own BS. I am willing to bet you don't know any archaeologists. Your second sentence is just confirmation of your delusion.
I love Graham Hancock because I love hearing the ideas of others. I have an MA in Public Archaeology. I interview old timers and listen to their personal stories and their legends as part of my analysis about a particular site....
Folks were getting cannibalized at Chaco, and some local indigenous folk that had once claimed an ancestral relationship with Chaco did not want anyone to get the idea that THEIR ancestors were cannibals - they get mighty touchy about the subject - so much so, that it is hard to tell them that the cannibals were likely proto Aztecs stopping by for a quick snack before heading South, and not Navajo at all. You know how they say, to unravel a modern mystery, follow the money? In this case, follow the corn. The genome of zea mays has become speciated (and had one big mutation) as it became distributed among the American peoples. People met, traded seeds, married, lived, fought, and moved .. and the genes of the local 'native' corn tell us what happened, when paired with their tribal stories and known and dateable geological events. It was pollen that enabled the dates of the footprints to be estimated .. and seeds, and their genes that tell us a lot about early prehistoric migrations.
Graham Hancock isn't an Archelologist. He is a Jouranalist. He is a truth seeker. And Journalists ask questions, and that is his strength. He doesn't know what the answers are, but the evidenc e he has uncovered suggests something different to the archeological official timeline. He is a very learned man, and his arguments are very persuasive. i love the fact that he says "I don't know, but he wants experts and archeologists to start asking these questions and not just accept the accepted doctrine. They are not the same breed as Physisists, who are happy to change their theories based on new evidence. Even throw them out. they get really excited about that :) Archeological experts, especially the North American Archeological society, and let's be honest, the Egyptologists, have formulated an absolute theory about pre history. Physisists know that there are no absolutes. Science changes due to new evidence. Which is coming everyday, if you look in new directions. But some disciplines refuse to do this. What greater way to protect your ideolgy than to not investigate new theories, new locations. Investigate new evidence. Ask new questions. When the British Government said there was no evidence that Russia was manipulation British elections. "But did you look?" Er, no! You don't find anything if you don't look! Oh, we wont investigate the continental shelf only sea wrecks, because that was under water during the iceage. But, if you investigate sea wreacks, you aren't investigating landforms that were created before sea rise. Talk about occluding investigative aveniues because you dont want to find anything. Erm. what about 'before' the iceage? Were there advanced civilisations pre iceage? 'Oh, no evidence'. Have you looked? Of course not, because they wouldn't be any evidence'. Err, what? The reason why most of the Saraha hasn't been investigated? Even though it was lush rain forest at one time? Especially after the ladar evidence of structures in the amazoin rainforest? OK archeology,. Keep securing your research grants by only investigating medieval sites. That's the way to progress human knowledge.
Addendum on the British Government thing: the reason why they didn't investigate Russian interference is precisely so that they COULD say there was no evidence.
I agree a 100 %they want to fence everything off and put no trespassing signs I thought the idea was to let everybody enjoy it otherwise tear it down put houses on it.
They filmed parts of Indiana Jones at Mesa Verde, I believe it was, and caused quite a bit of damage to the ruins. There is a reason they require permits. Federal land needs to be protected for everyone, it can't just be a free for all.
Being of Native decent , I do respect the beliefs of the People. That being said I believe that it took thousands of years for The People to spread out across America and Canada. I doubt that they all walked the Bering Straight route but came via boats and came up from South America too. What is really at stake IMHO is the Federal Status of the Tribes ...loose that and loose Federal dollars and claims. The US Govenment has been and still is brutal towards our Tribes. This too is the issue with so called "experts" that smother new research. It's all about their personal status and the funding they get or bring in to Universities and Colleges. Not to mention a big fat retirement pension.
I`m guessing you've either watched or are at least aware of the, Skeletons In The Closet documentaries. It`s about the settling of New Zealand where they show evidence that the, Maori, weren't the first inhabitants. The people involved were all accused of racism. It's been a fair few years since I watched it so don't quote me but if I remember correctly they interviewed actual Maori who were claiming that their oral traditional stories tell how when they first arrived, New Zealand was already inhabited by a race white, red haired "giants" and a white, nocturnal tribe of pygmies. This caused outrage and the racist card got played but it was also claimed this was only because of the Maori`s land claim rights. Who knows the truth anyway ? Either way, those documentaries are dam fascinating and interesting
The Reservations are tiny Welfare States within our country. Stop the Welfare. Tribes making money on casinos and whatever else good for them! Tribes taking the maximum welfare and using it to distribute meth.... yes they are some.
I think the proper question is "Where are all of the humble scientists that are interested in learning the truth?" Like this wonderful woman here in the video. She is humble... We need more scientists like her.
I believe humanity has existed for hundreds of thousands of years, and we've repeatedly been set back to the Stone Age many times. I'm not sure why they feel the need to hide that from us, but it seems like the gatekeepers are starting to lose control lately."New sub here...BLOW my mind..Greetings from Murfreesboro Tennessee right outside Nashville...... Thanks for the hard work
When I was in New Mexico to see some the things my grandmother had told me about as a kid, I stop at the casino to eat, a waitress there who was native to New Mexico we spoke about something’s I had seen and told me other places and things to see, I mentioned to her that I wanted to go to Chaco canyon, she asked my why why did I want to go, had my grandmother told me anything, I told her no but I always heard about Chaco canyon and that I was curious, she told me don’t go especially if I’m alone, that not even natives go that it is the most demonic place in the world, took her advice I did not go
I have been there and camped in that part of the desert. Something dark happened there and Chaco should have never been excavated. I say bury it and walk away.
The hostility towards him is amazing. He's an investigative journalist asking questions modern archeology refuses to ask. On subjects archeology can't explain.
Ideas, questions, are never bad. Graham, asks questions. Questions that threaten the establishment. He reminds me of Erich Von Daniken and his book Chariot of the Gods. Von Daniken asks questions. Questions that made the Church mad. Hancock made Archaeologists mad because he questions their theories.
Graham Hancock might be wrong. But he might also be right. But I admire his intellect. His passion. For finding or inspring truth. Academics shouldn't be lynched for offering an alternative view. An alternative narrative. Archeologists should be saying.... Interesting hypothesis. how can we investigate this? Maybe they dismiss it after scientific study. Great. But at least they considered it. But they come across as the history mafia. We all need to pay the bills, and I appreciate that archeology is scrambling for research budgets. But come on. Where is their scientific integrity? that they are so closed minded to new ideas. Enjoyed the video Enjoythejourney. Sorry for the rant :)
Graham Hancock was one of the first researchers who got me to look into the rabbit hole of our history. He does great research and has travelled the world to see these place's,which we might of never heard of. So much more to us humans than 6,000 years.. Thank god for Gobekli tepe.
My first day in science class - way back in the early 70's, the very first thing I was told is something that has stayed with me in the years after that. IF YOU DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS YOU WILL NOT GET ANSWERS. That my friends is Science at its core. Today we have so-called scientists telling us sea levels are rising - yet we see Roman era seaside baths still being used. We see Norwegian Fjords with water levels similar to the time of Viking. Yes we have climate change - have had it for 4.5 Billion years and it will continue to change long after the infestation that is mankind is long gone. At the same time, scientists who have been examing ice cores for decades are derided because they are getting data which does not agree with the modern common theory. A couple years back we had so-called scientists telling us mRNA jabs were safe, but today we have a health crisis that did not exist prior to these untested jabs. We have archaeloogists upset when new discoveries show something different to what they prescibe to and so often use the argument that 'This was discovered X years ago and I/we have confirmed them to be correct. Me, not that I believe in the 'ancient alien' theories, if some sort of evidence turned up - say a spaceship preserved in the ice in Antarctica I would not just debunk it - I would say ... OK, lets investigate this further. Even before my first science class another wonderful teacher advised - with a closed mind you will learn nothing in your life.
I wouldn't dismiss alien so easy if you haven't really spent any time investigating it. I mean isn't that what you're preaching in the paragraph you wrote. Investigate then make conclusional theories. I start people this way. What makes more sense an omniscient magical God in heaven or advanced species from one of the hundreds of billions of planets just in The Milky Way galaxy. I'm not trying to disprove God by the way just an example. I'm just saying it would seem another life form would be statistically higher than some magical being. But the majority of the planet believe there is a God with absolutely no proof.
@@jasondalrymple3328 - My pet theory I told my dad 60 years ago was that humans are a science project for a kid from Alpha Centauri. Definitely open to the possibilities, but not in the everything is aliens camp. I look at hieroglyphs that look like attack helicopters and argue that no, that is not a bird - they depict birds quite lifelike. The same thing with figures that appear to have helmets or breathing apparatus - even in some cave paintings. Open to all theories and not dismissing anything until proved without doubt to be wrong. As far as god goes, is there a god or not? Since religion is manmade and designed pretty much to control the masses, the assumption that 'God' made us in his image does not hold much creedence. However, we are told the universe was created by The Big Bang .... what created the big bang? There are questions we never will answer and I am happy to accept that as if everything is answered, what is there to consider?
I’m floored by your intelligence; please take this comment as a compliment! I am a trading geologist and an avid RVer and I have never expected to hear such sensible comments about the scientific method from a fellow RVer. I too agree that many people, even scientists tend to let their egos dominate their scientific agendas-studies and findings and are unwilling to defer to new ideas and theories or even physical proof which might upend their righteous Conclusions on subjects they specialize in. This discussion was so refreshing and eye opening; by the way I’m a native New Mexican and live about 150 miles from Chaco Canyon with the ancestral Pecos Pueblo as my very close neighbor and so having visited both sites numerous times I am always interested in the latest scientific theory being proposed about our ancient ancestors. Great job on presenting a simple tutorial on “The Scientific Method” and the awesome videography of such an enchanting Native treasure👍🏽
Yet some those ancient people knew the Sun solar cycle is about 26,000 years long. That means they watched the sky and had maths and a way to record what they figured out.
The funniest thing that Graham has taught archaeologists is the simple lesson that: "they are right until they are wrong, they then 'update' their perspectives to make them right again, only to be challenged they still maybe wrong but they argue they are more right because they have recently updated their knowledge and there is nothing else to see here..., until someone proves them wrong again..."
Never heard of Graham Hancock and his series. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chaco Canyon. Had things shake loose on our Jeep that never shook loose before on the road in. The canyon was more spiritual for us than we had anticipated. Respecting the native cultures and land is an important aspect of exploration. Your videography and editing are exceptional. Looking forward to much more on Chaco Canyon from you.
I find Graham Hancock to be a credible, intelligent researcher. The problems at the Grand Canyon may be because NASA bought and owns a section of the canyon and restricted public access. The section happens to be the same area where Egyptian type relics were found. NASA also bought and owns the entrance to the King's Chamber in the Great Pyramid. What a coincidence. Somehow the filming problems the crew is experiencing in this current area could be that, like the Grand Canyon and Great Pyramid, there is stuff and things there that 'they' don't want the public to know about.
@@kathymiller7086 one reason could be ancient technology that they are still wanting to figure out or are shielding from others getting the technology. There are still ancient writings that they are still uncovering and attempting to decipher. There are so many secrets still left there to find. The biggest thing I feel is that there are things there that point to our true origins that doesn't fit with what we have been told. This could upset the whole false history they've lied about for centuries and could cause them losing control of the global population. The pyramid is like a machine and also a time capsule. It gives us clues about medical cures, creating energy etc. As usual stuff they want to hide and control so they can continue their game of wealth and power for a small elite group of global families.
Much of what we’re taught by scientific institutions and universities isn’t absolute fact but rather theories treated as dogma. This can create a rigid, almost religious adherence to one view of history. Enter Graham Hancock, a true pioneer whose ideas bring essential fresh insight to our understanding of ancient history. His theories-especially on the Younger Dryas cataclysm and the loss of earlier advanced civilizations-are more valid than many mainstream views, backed by strong logic, critical thinking, and substantial evidence. Hancock compellingly argues that humanity’s history is far older and richer than traditional science allows, and his work resonates deeply, feeling undeniably true. Hancock’s bold approach challenges us to question everything we think we know, urging science to remain the open, exploratory field it should be. He embodies the spirit of real discovery, leading us closer to the truth by daring to embrace possibilities that mainstream academia often overlooks. Far from being on the fringes, Hancock stands at the forefront, reminding us that true progress demands the courage to explore and rethink.
There are a lot of Technical and Scientific Fields that have a rigid or selective mindset. Sometimes it is an emotional or ego issue. Others it's an income or employment basis. There are instances of those who supply the resources for discovery have a preconceived goal or outcome of the process
I love Hancock's book Underworld. He knew that the water level rose and went diving off India where he found a sunken city, Egypt where he found Alexandria, and Japan where he looked at massive possible man made sculpted megaliths. After the book the Archaeologists discovered these areas. That's why they maline him. Jealousy. Seeing as he leaves these locations for them to excavate and write up, I don't know why they can't be gracious about his finds.
Archaeology is expensive… funding is required. Whoever has the gold makes the rules , of course. Funding can be suddenly removed for myriad reasons, none the least of which is politics of some sort or another …ergo, whoever has the gold makes the rules.. people will do as they are instructed to do by the money gods. Most always have, and always will .
It's a sign of the times we live in that people want to believe misinformation. We are in a constantly changing world. I am all for hearing about new discoveries. Can't wait to see and hear more about Chaco Canyon.
I have followed and supported Graham Hancock for many years, his theories have PROVEN TO BE TRUE, more than not! EGO is the biggest problem our society has in Science, History, Religion, etc. As you said, as technology and new information evolve, so should the teachings and books evove. Ego needs to go...along with profiteering from Organizations like like The World Economic Forum!! Great vid 👍😊
I agree - I've been following Graham Hancock's work for several years and am fascinated by it, and I admire his dedication to constantly uncovering new information. All that scuba diving, too! I was very pleased when I heard that he had the first series on Netflix, and then really dismayed by the huge backlash that he experienced, the 'cancel culture' going all out to discredit him and accuse him of being all sorts of things that he most certainly is not! I live in a country where evidence of any culture or human habitation stretching back before 1320 CE is denied, and anyone who discovers and talks about evidence supporting earlier human habitation than that is instantly ridiculed and discredited, so I understand the barriers that Graham Hancock faces. Göbeckli Tepe changed everything...and yet, I still meet people all the time who have never heard of it!
Love the 'Beginners mind ' mentality. That is applicable across everything! Shout out to this Archeologist for being opened minded and comfortable calling out her cohorts whose pride is preventing the field from evolving.
Bottom line: They can get all the State & National Park permits they want, but that doesn't guarantee their _safety_ when filming in _very_ religiously sensitive areas. In the end, they figured it was wise to respect the locals feelings and just pull out of there altogether.
Civilizations throughout time like the ones who could create buildings we couldn't replicate to day didn't believe in a spinning globe..but hey they are just ignorant savages😂
Uh, no. Every culture that traveled North to South figured out the Earth was a sphere. The circumference of the Earth was calculated to within less than 10% accuracy 2000 years ago.
Grahm is a fantastic researcher. Is books make one think a lot about that feeling that is impossible to ignore. My Lunch Break is a great channel to watch, too. Puzzle pieces have been scattered about on purpose.
I'm confused where you're getting the idea that the people who were here 23,000 years ago aren't Native American. Just because the dates get pushed back further doesn't mean you're talking about a different group of people. Native Americans are not a genetically homogenous group. There are different haplotypes concentrated in different areas but also spread throughout North and South America, which suggests multiple waves of migration and intermixing to produce the etnnological tapestry of Native peoples today. If the people who made those footprints left any descendants (and why wouldn't they have?), they would be part of that tapestry.
I believe that some people came across Siberia and into Alaska and then down into the USA 13,000 years ago. I also believe that there were people already here. The Pueblo tribes may have been in the Southwest USA before the Navajo and Apache tribes arrived. Maybe thousands of years earlier.
Everyone gives GH hell for not have a degree in archeology. Well when youve been doing something for 40 years and have been around other archeologists for 40 years, you tend to learn some shit! So to me that argument is just dumb and always has been. I dont have any "formal" schooling or training in body work and modifying cars, but i guarentee my self taught skills will out do most anyone with a fancy education.
Hey. I am a huge fan of Graham Hancock. I have been following his work probably since he started. He is on a quest for the truth and no matter what anyone calls him, there is nothing wrong about what he does. He is one of the huge motivators for others on the same mission. The reason mainstream archeologists are so rigid is because the faction who is keeping the secrets will take away the enormous grants the scientists are given for staying rigid and keeping the secrets. I just hope you are very careful if you post something the military complex wants to keep secret. It's very cool that you actually did the foot work for something you were curious about. It's a blessing for you to be able to do it and use your channel to share with the world. Love and light.😊
It's really neat to see you doing a video on Chaco Canyon. I am from the Houston, TX area, but my grandfather lived in Farmington, NM. I spent many summers going to visit. My grandfather was well-known in the Farmington community and some of the surrounding areas/towns, including Aztec, NM. He was also known among the tribal peoples of the region, especially the Navajo. He had a good rapport with the Federal Park Rangers and often participated in archeological digs. The rapport that he built with the community of indigenous and other people went a long way for me to get access to see parts of these sites that are often off-limits to the general public. If you want to learn more about the history of these sites, don't just look at the park services information, but speak with the tribal elders and other members of the indigenous population. The value of their knowledge of the region's history, lore, and timeline is beyond measure.
We were there in 1982, and this is vastly different from what we saw! I am impressed with all that they have excavated between then and now. Thank you for showing us how really detailed this culture built their settlement. There was far more under our feet then than we could have imagined!
With two friends, I went there in 1970. There were no other structures, at all, only the ruins. No signs, no government presence, and no tire tracks except ours. We drove south and slept on the sand floor of a small stone structure that was obviously made by the same people. My theory is: Chaco was constructed by Aztecs , from Mexico. there are other locations that reveal Aztec influences. When the Spanish came, the system that created Chaco was wiped out. The habitants fled for their lives, and constructed hidden villages among the canyons and cliffs of Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. Virtually all of those places, like Canyon De Chelly, Mesa Verde, Bandelier, the ruins in Bear,s Ears, and in Arizona, as well. All were obviously emergency housing to provide safety, because all of the surrounding tribes of indigenous people were violently opposed to outsiders. One reason that makes this clear, is that, with exception to Bandelier, there are virtually zero examples of this civilization near large rivers. Bandelier was safe, because of its location.
We're not showing up for concert tickets. What difference does it make who got here first? Answer. It doesn't. Not in the least. It doesn't change anything about what kind of people these ancient folks were. Look up KENNEWICK MAN FOR MORE ON THESE IDEAS.
'Native' is a strictly relative term, without any real meaning. Racial/cultural groups have roamed the earth for millennia, ever since the first primates to walk upright went exploring.
Per Hancock, “Our culture, now, with all of our technology and advances, we couldn’t replicate this.” This is a meaningless assertion. We only recently figured out the “secret ingredient” which made Roman concrete last so long. All our tech advances have been have not been sufficient to replicate Greek fire. That said, as long as he is not positing interplanetary visitations, I’m willing to look at all sorts of intriguing ideas.
Now that there is evidence of man walking with mammoth I can totally see them blaming man for the mammoth extinction, they’ll find / make-up something.
While continental drift is the “accepted” theory of crustal movement, the long term energy for this is actually expansion from within. Obviously this forum is not the place to expound on that, I am available to do so.
I saw a video where a guy blew up a round balloon. He put a clip on it to hold the air. He drew a rough globe with all of the continents on it. He let the air out slowly and the continents got closer. He blew it up and as the globe expanded the continents got further apart. He said, what if the Earth has been slowly expanding, and that's why the continents are farther apart now? I don't know the answer, but it was interesting enough for me to remember.
Predates the Vikings??? Uhhh only by 20,000 years. Why even bring up Vikings. This is not Nova Scotia, it is the US Southwest and so far before the Vikings even existed to be strange to mention.
Graham Hancock in his series seemed to have some grateful experts - archeologists, ancient Mayan language experts etc - that finally have someone to listen and give them a platform to show their evidence and theories to! Don’t just believe Graham. Believe all the other people that speak in the show! I don’t understand people that feel threatened when it’s so exciting!
One of the craziest things I ever happened to see. was in Chaco Canyon's main structure. I saw a lens flare. No camera involved. Right in the center of the main structure. Really spooky considering the people of that Canyon disappeared 600 years ago. just gone.
I find the biggest issue with contemporary archaeologists is they have been fed a diet of Marxist Archaeology through woke ideology over the past several decades. Wokeism is prevalent in the National Park Service as well. I have worked extensively with both. It's ridiculous.
Graham presents a theory. Throughout the series, he featured indigenous people of different cultures who provide support to his theory. If one group does not agree they wont participate, its not racist or revisionist. He stopped filming to avoid that controversy once he realized there was push back. He actually respects these cultures and their traditions, even if his theories dont align. Disagreement between oral tradition and a larger contextualized theory isnt necessarily disrespectful of these cultures. Context is important
Graham Hancock is a truth seeker. Archeology is the seeking of past truths. But archeologist want to have THEIR truth to be the End of the conversation. Graham Hancock, Randall Carlson and others are doing an amazing job. It dose not matter if they are wrong, asking questions is a beautiful thing.
On Texas Gulf coast in the late 1700s , there was a tribe of indigenous people that were cannibals. In the early 1800s they were driven out, hunted down all the way to the Rio Grand river. Disappeared into Mexico.
I have been the chaco canyon several times baby nobody needs to know that it's there I could feel the energy the last thing that place needs is tons of people running all over it doing all that modern-day hoo-ha and not allowing people like me or others to be able to feel the truth like I have. Just sayin'😎🤙🐧
Thanks for recording the car ride conversation. “…there are people who like to ask questions and there are people who like to have answers, and usually those people are not the same.”
Calcification of scientific thought may have something to do with preserving royalties from the textbooks that professors call the "benchmark in the field" that they wrote 30-40 years ago.
Isn't Chaco Canyon area where Montezuma's II men went with the gold treasures to hide them from the Spanish Conquistadores? I believe the story is that there is 10 treasure vaults in that area where they hid the gold.
The problem with archaeology is it’s all based on ideas put forward by people who could not even imagine the technology we have today. Take the Dendera “Bulb” originally interpreted in the 19th century as the a lotus flower with its essence being cast out. Really essence? The very first time I saw the image I thought light bulb. An interpretation based solely on my own experiences. The light bulb had not been invented when the original interpretation was made meaning it wasn’t even contemplated as a possibility back then.
According to Navajo historical accounts the Anasazi were a slavery culture. They captured and enslaved the local natives from other tribes. The structures built in Chaco were jails, not fortresses. This is why so many native American communities built villages in cliffs, because they didn't want to be captured and enslaved. Archeological evidence supports this thesis.
Great video guys!!!!!!!! For more insight on information on this and Graham Hancock watch the Joe Rogan Podcast with Randall Carson…it’s absolutely AHHHHMAZING!!!!!! These two guys 2gether are an amazing duo and have upset the so called “gatekeepers” of keeping alternative points of view suppressed so the narrative is controlled.
Hancock is my kind of explorer and researcher....69 yr old woman from WI here....there are many more like myself that are so intrigued by Mr Graham.....keep it up honey!
Archaeologist bug the crap out of me. They think they know everything when they probably know very little. Very insular bunch, very protective of their narrative.
Where would our species be if we don't question our history!!!! Quackademics put out misinformation in order to maintain the status quo.. why? Wouldn't you rather explore? Keep it up guys!
