I consider it a great loss to the world that Adam Buxton isn't utilised more in the world of entertainment. He is so adorably, naturally and effortlessly funny and I love everything he does. I do wish he found a project or partnership that would allow him to be more prolific.
I'm not sure why I feel compelled to share that I once, not all that long ago, sent a tweet to Graham Linehan asking him a question about a Big Train sketch. He answered, which I know is likely not a big deal to people, but I get mildly excited about that, even now. He is a formidable talent.
One of my all time favourite TV moments is way too obscure to feature on a list of "Favourite TV Moments". It's Arthur Mathews on Big Train, screaming at Kevin Eldon, "I hate you! I hate you! You bollocks!" before throwing back his head and cackling maniacally.
By the way, Yoko wrote a lot of the lyrics of 'How do you sleep?'.... and for a second dagger, George plays guitar on it. What's more, Paul at that point was sleeping very well. It was John that was ironically having the bad and stressful time.
I see what you mean. Yeah, the world loved the Beatles and Yoko was their excuse and funnel for the anger and sadness their breakup caused. I love John, but i hate the words of that song. The Music is brilliant, but the words are vicious :)
+Tmuk2 Sounds like he was talking about it with tongue firmly in cheek tbh, its hard to imagine you would resent your childhood best friend having some success.
