Thank you. Thank you very much for saying this. The way they kinda made fun of this is really annoyed me. Specially the comment 'lonely people'. What do mean by 'lonely people'. Every single human being on earth is in some way was/is/will be lonely or felt/feels/will feel lonely. When I first saw this robot I was fascinated by it's work. Forget everything just focus on the 'follow me' command. The amount of calibration needed just to get up from siting. I sincerely hope robot will get better in future and I look forward to that future! Period.

Isn't that robot called Nano? I seen it before and you have to understand the tech to really appreciate how advanced this robot is.

No, it's called 'Nao' (pronounced 'now'). Corey Doyle I can see Gossiptgirl's point though.. this is fun purely as a toy. The worrying part is that robots like this are probably going to be used to replace humans for certain things. I sincerely hope that this never happens.. atleast with some kind of artificial intelligence or talking like a human.. ewwww.

Neal G Clearly you've let Hollywood do your thinking for you. Robots will inevitably replace humans at everything humans aren't required to do. These are repetitive tasks that the working class are forced into. With more robots, not only would people be happier, but they could focus on betterment.

I see, so then the working class would be out of employment and forced to find work elsewhere, how helpful. You do realise that some people enjoy these 'repetitive tasks' and without it they could not earn a living? Meaning when robots take their jobs they'll be worried about where the next penny will focus on, not betterment. Your idea is lovely but it won't work in a world where we can't even get necessities such as food and water without money.
