ricebowl3 The main thing that differentiates Norton is that he entertains the guests as well as the audience. It's a much more relaxed atmosphere than they're usually faced with. We still get all the plugs etc. but the guests have fun which creates a greater sense of intimacy with the audience - we feel like we're getting to know them more than with the rote q&a stuff. This video is a great case in point - we get to see Emma's genuine fan geekiness and Andrew's cruel enjoyment of her suffering, so we feel like we know them a little bit. Certainly more than if they just told us "I am a fan of the Spice Girls" and "I have a wicked sense of humor".

He used to do a bit of acting. Been in a few British shows.
