Every night I go to bed feeling grateful that I have one friend on JP that has a lvl 120 NP5 Morgan w/ a lvl 100 MLB Kscope and maxed out skills and append skills. Idk who he is, but I pray for that man's wallet
For people who are complaining about the ember and qp cost then just ignore this system unless you REALLY love a servant. Only focus on append skills like mana load and if the servant has a good anti class skill. Outside of that for those who do want to use the system again just go for who u like. This game will never demand the need for anything like this
Or if you want, use the lvl 120 system on your much more lower rarity servants like Spartacus, bunyan and arash and have them be the proper levels of power their kits deserve. But in all seriousness, use the append coins on the servants you know you won't be grailing on just their mana loading skills. that's all you really need most of the time.
@@amari7782 Dont 5 stars always scale best though? Ir is it just the fact that low rarities start to scale better from 100 to 120 than they do up to 100?
@@frankmarano1118 You get more value in general from low stars than 5 stars since most 5 stars stats tend to be fairly high as is especially with gold fous. Not to mention again it’s much harder to get a 120 5 star that a low star so investing in them is much more realistic

Funnily enough it's been easier for me to append skill my five star servants because I've got 5 or 6 of them at NP2 & any duplicates of 4 stars I have isnt normally past NP2 besides a few I have at NP3. Thats even me being F2P besides guarenteed gachas. Getting a five star to NP3 may be easier for some people than 6 copies of a 4 star because if you get really lucky one day getting space ishtar twice in a ten pull youd only need one more copy of her rather than a bunch of 4 star duplicates But yeah at least for the lower rarity servants you can get enough duplicates to 120 them pretty quickly if you have a bunch of friebd points ready to go. I'm actually kind of glad I havent summoned angra yet now since his coins arent retroactive. Welfare servants really get the short end if the stick here, bot sure why they didnt retroactively give coins for them
Since it first came to JP, I always thought of level 120 as a scam. The requirements are just way to high, and I find these resources are better spent on getting multiple other Servants to level 100. I like way too many characters in this game and I cant just forsake them for the sake of only one. But if anyone has an absolute favourite Servant, the one above all, then I guess its worth it... maybe... possibly...
for most servants, the coins will be used on append skills. that is actually fine for most of them. But for people who really have servants they want to use a lot, Lvl 120 is something worth considering. especially if they are not 5 stars and are in fact 1 stars where you can get gacha coins from FP gacha. it's not enough to make them world breakers but having them be around 4 star range is nice. besides who doesn't want to spend their grails on a lvl 120 Arash only to have him press the nuclear launch codes and blow himself up. a good use of Grails I say
Level 120 servant is definitely more powerful and sometimes you just need that additional HP or Atk to beat the stage. Though it's extremely expensive 🙃
I mean the exp cards isn't really that big, I've been playing for 7 years and I maxed all my 3 stars below so exp cards are just lying in there. The coins are tricky but the only expensive one is QP.
While not nearly on the same scale, I recently NP6'd Saber Lily (didn't have her until she showed up in FP gacha) and Mana Loading would've been very welcome for her as at NP5 her NP outdamages my NP1 Salter's.
Yeah, much as I'd love to take my Godjuna to Level 120, that's not happening any time in the forseeable future. Maybe 102 or 104 during a lotto to avoid burning embers or something.
@@ShionKenobi Append will ofc be my priority. He's NP2 Bond 11 and I'm planning on maxing Mana Loading and Extra Attack first thing after the maintenance ends. EDIT: make that first thing after they fix the bug and give me his coins!
Thank you for the hard work in these videos! I only play NA and didn't really bother checking how the coin system works properly, so these are very helpful. When the grail casting system arrives on NA I plan on leveling my lancer Diarmuid to 120, slowly but surely.
Maybe you were already going to touch this topic, but in case you weren't, I think for the next video, on top of talking about the value of different append skills for different servants, it could also be interesting or useful to talk about when append skills have more value and when levels are more important. Great vid, Myst.

It feels so bad since Iskandar was my first SSR, but I missed his last rateup, so he's still NP1 for me. Which means.. Jason is gonna be my first 120- But I still feel a bit sad that I couldn't bring the One True King up where he belongs.
All of that to say, for those who don’t both play religiously and whale out of their minds, getting any 4*-5* servant above level 100 is basically impossible… that’s rough, buddy
not really , getting a 4* to np5+ isnt that hard , especially in NA , just will power and focus their different rate ups ,for bond lving you just need to use them a lot
@@morsayxd4441 Me, who has already had the hell of not getting any 4* character with 300+ sq: Yes, it's not that difficult, of course! It's really easy to get the character you want with a little willpower! :)
@@morsayxd4441 It can be hard when it depends on the luck of the gacha lol. I've had instances were I use a ton of sq & barely get 1 copy of the 4* servant on rate up.
On the note of whaling. I am a f2p here. Saved up 1,6k+ sq and 300+ tickets, took me about a year, maybe a bit more to do it. Got myself an np5 avanger Nobu(limited 5 star) + some other ssr spooks with a little bit less than that amount. The real true and abhorrent problem of fgo are the banners. Here is what I mean: initially I wanted to spend it all on Shiki, whose only banner was about near the new year, who will not return for at minimum ANOTHER 2 YEARS, and the reason of me failing to get her - was simply the game lagging and crushing that day for some reason.
Remember how long it takes to go to bond 10, bond 15 is even worse.. For your level 120 SSR target, NP3 is a must, after that you'll still need to raise bond for unlocking their append skills.. Insanely time and resources consuming this whole undertaking.. Do you have a target in mind for this Myst?
I might do this for my Zerkerlot and Odysseus, but with Append Skills in play, I doubt I’ll have enough copies. Appends are way more important to me than additional levels.
a lot of servants has incredible growth going to lvl 120 though like dantes. but sadly if it's an SSR and only at NP1 then just focus on append skills.

@@frostivied9239 Honestly don't worry about grinding the 5 star embers really. Wait until lottery and just go super hard on that and you'll get all of the 4 stars and qp you could ever want in life
@@RandomRiku it still won’t be enough. I grind around 350 box last lotto (it’s not exactly comparable to the whales) and I already ran out of embers now. I am not exactly F2P but I really don’t want to spend quartz for farming outside lotto (even that I don’t usually spent too much) + I usually have at least 7 new servants, sometimes even more due to spooks every year.

Shouldn't the total cost of qp for 5* exp be lower? Because you are getting 3 times more exp than a 4* card, assuming the cost for each enhancement is the same.
As a very dedicated artoria simp that only has her at np 1 (SSR ticket + only played for 3 months so far.) knowing I won't even be able to grail her to 120 without getting at least 2 other copies kinda hurts
Looking at my calculations for my space ishtar. Np 5 gets me 450 coins. Mana tuning takes 120 coins and 120 takes 300 coins equaling 420(blaze it). So I can get 120 and Mana tuning for space Ishtar without counting the bond level coins for the extra append skills. But only have 7 grails currently. I would be angry at the last servant who I grailed but that was astrea aka luvia so I'm not mad.
@@thereseavanastrea4662 no worries you could roll more copies when the rerun comes next year so by then you can either have bond 14 or extra copies. It's a marathon and me as a planner need time to prepare I mean seriously I had the whole coin system set up to get mega space Ishtar but I'll just get Mana tuning for loops

@@haniffadlurrahman5800 Mana tuning as it's better for castoria to have extra charge and space Ishtar already can nuke easily. 120 is more for damage while Mana tuning is an all around more useful ability as that with kscope makes mlb kscope or black grail with Mana tuning let's you do 3 turn much easier and with more flexibility in your mystic codes
Together with append skills, i have to go for np6, BLOODY NP6, AS A F2P, in order to fully max out Morgan (the same with every others). The pain is real...

I made the mistake of unlocking two of Bargest's append skills because I thought I would need more coins to grail her. I now calculated that at bond 15 I would have 290 left over. Literally 10 below the amount needed for 120.
I'd prefer to wait until 5th anniversary bcs my prediction is what they probably will release the 5* EXP farming nodes in that, so I hopefully got enough coins to unlock 2 append skills on Raikou and raise her to lvl120. It'll a tough journey, but will be quite fun and worth it, Good luck too everyone who are brave enough to raise that servant you truly love at the maximum!
QP amount doesn't seem that bad for endgamers, but the ember needed is indeed very steep. That is like 3x times the amount of ember runs needed comparing to QP runs.
Curently there is still active bonus exp (x2) for last free 5star servants active. It might somewhat help with embers if you want to lvl up( and have means for it)

Sad life. The only servant that I own and that I'd want to max up to level 120 is Heracles. Heracles is still only np2 and he doesn't seem to be getting any rate ups anytime soon. Just gonna hope and pray for some more spooks
Not really planning to lvl anyone pass lvl 100 but it's good to know cause who knows maybe one day a servant that is to my liking will be release and if i get lucky enough to get them to np5 which will probably never happen as I am an f2p but who knows. For now those will be my conditions when leveling to 120. Unless they give something like universal servant coins or you make them farmable in like certain events then my conditions will remain.
Append skills as a whole don’t really matter outside of the mana load. The extra atk one only matters if a servant has good extra atk hitcounts and the third skill is honestly a toss up on what’s the class. Taisui for example has a good third append because he gets bonus dmg against assassins abd since he’s an alter ego he’s going to basically be caster against them
NA is getting really interesting now! if this goes over well for Lasagna, then they will be encouraged to add other things early. anything is on the table :D
Wait, does this mean it's literally impossible to get Paul Bunyan to 120? A 1* welfare BRONZE servant that not only had one rerun, but also does not get retro coins, AND you would need the foresight to know to get her from the initial event PLUS the rerun. At that point you could only get 360 coins at MAX from the bond levels and you would not have enough left over to append any skills?
You should wait for exp bonus success chance periods for sure for more gains. If they release the 5* exp dailies during anniversary that's a great time since it also has the only ever 5x success chance period.

Glad this new system is out until next year, now we can level up the level 90 servants a HECKA LOT more easier. Just have to hit the one you want three to five times then take a break until next rotation. 😊😑
I used to thinkthat Iwould never grail any servant to 120. Now I am grailing medusa to 120(at 117 currently) after I have grailed Space Ishtar to 120. This is the deepest circle of hell
How would this work with Paul Bunyan is my question? I haven't got her since I started playing right after her rerun, how would I get more coins for her? It's already my plan to lvl100 grail her but having a bit more would be nice.
You will only get coins from her Bond levels when this goes live, otherwise you need to wait nearly 2 years sadly for the Riyo collab event that has some of her coins in the event shop too.
@Much Luck Yeah it’s a singular enemy but they drop 3 embers so you still get 9 for the run. So the only downside is depending on your farming set up the higher HP single enemy on the final wave might make it harder to kill for some.
If the new +90 dailys arrive with the anniversary, would it still be worth using apples with the lottos or rather using them when we get half cost dailys?

I really wish that we could get a consistent source of All-Class embers. I'm lv 111/120 for my summer kama so it's ruff out here. Would be nice if we could get 5* All embers in lottos more consistently or more frequently.
Thank you for this great information but I have a question, the coins are going to go to the present box but where are the coins go after I claim them?, Will there be a limit to hold coins like CEs?, Is safe to claim all the coins or I should keep them in the present box?
Coins will have their own inventory that you can see as a new menu in "My Room", and no, there is no limit to them unlike other resources. Definitely claim them immediately so your inbox won't be full.
Yo Myst, I have a question bro. I have Arthur Archer/Squirtoria at Np 3 and I have her at bond 14. For some reason, I only have 160 coins in total. For some reason, I don't think I can reach level 120.
woah I'm on EN and I've been playing since around summer 1 but I've only recently gotten an interest in grailing certain servants--- mostly cuz I like to use whichever servants show up in the story but they're usually underleveled in my care, and more of a detriment when I'm facing the big bosses For the most part, I've just been trying to get those servants to lvl 70 or 80, since that seems good enough to handle most of the story but I did commit to lvl100ing certain 5 stars I happened to get NP2 on by sheer luck i'm thinking of trying to get one of those 5 stars to lvl110 for now but daaaamn Never knew grailing was so intense Luckily, there's a success rate thing going on right now, so that should help a little
If I may make one quick friendly critique given the nature of the grind that is this game! I would have included numbers for one append and 120, since for almost any Servant you’d want Mana Loading too! Or maybe you chose the Extra Append if your a Solo Servant!
Of I can do 6 ember gatherings daily it'll take 100 days of grinding to get all the EXP needed, but qp is going to be miserable along with summoning 90 kojiros
my mordred still have 2x exp effect from SSR tix so i should use this opportunity to grail her up but i only have her at NP1 now so maybe i can only go lvl 108 (assuming i have enough ember)
