Also tv time they get more than grambling because the only time GSU band is showed on tv now a-days is the Bayou Classic while Southern has the Bayou and Atlanta Classic.
Also keep in mind even if SU didn't get a show on ESPN, they get more national tv exposure due to not only the Bayou Classic but also the Atlanta Classic while GSU band's only national exposure is the Bayou Classic. Also every time SU performs halftime for the Saints, NBC some how finds a way to show them performing during a commercial break or whatever they are still getting exposed soo before y'all say crap know your facts, oh lastly SU has a dvd about their band by LPB..need I say more. JAGS!
Why do all GSU fans forget that SU gets alot of TV time and ALOT of calls to perform in other places should I name them again like I just had to if so here we go. Beijing, China..Sugar Bowl, Super Bowl, Presidential parade, dancing dolls perform with Madonna in the recent super bowl. SU has done halftime shows for the New Orleans Hornets and Saints, Performed with the Rockettes in Radio City Music Hall, trip to Africa to do a show, Trip to DC for a mardi gras parade.
And yes he said they edged them out. They did. The battle is not judged strictly off of volume by everyone. The "Turn Off The Lights" feature was cool (although it was already done before) but other than that and volume, just don't see where SU "Clowned" Gram in '11.

Trip to Africa 7.Trip to Beijing China 8. Rated No.1 by USA Today 9. Voted best dressed college band in the nation in 2008 but Fashion Magazine 10. SU dancers perform with Madonna, Nicki Minaj, and that other girl on the national stage at the Super Bowl in 2012 Is that enough proof of national exposure..should I say more?
This is GSU's 5th tv show....and they still feel as they need validation. The " World Famed" shouldn't need any validation right? WRONG!!!!!!!! Even with all the TV shows and history from the 50's and 60's, they still can't break the top 5 in the SWAC. THEY ARE NOT EVEN TOP 10 IN HBCUs... GET IT TOGETHER GSU....NO ONE IS INTERESTED IN THE BAYOU CLASSIC BOTB ANYMORE BECAUSE OF YOU
Amazing how ya'll try to claim Gram to be nothing when ya'll come on their TV SHOW to comment about how ya'll's band is better. Sad. If you know you are you don't have to say anything and for SU to try and match Gram's performance history is laughable. They're not even close. The No. 1 rating is from the early 90's by the way and you all know that the pride of every band's fans or members will not allow them to rank Gram top 5 in the SWAC no matter how good or bad they are.
Whatevea makes you feel happy about SU. You said all of that b/c your mad b/c no matter what the current GSU band looks like, WE get the calls from the NBA, NFL, Hollywood to do commericals, movies, etc. U cant face the fact that america and the WORLD loves the World Famed than your loney Jag band. LMAO did he really say "I think we edged SU out", WOW please don't lie to yourself like that I'm sorry but GSU can NOT hang with SU at all. The Top 4 bands in the SWAC is Southern, Jackson State, Texas Southern, and Alabama State. People go to the Bayou Classic Battle of the Bands every year to watch Grambling get embarrassed. The Human Jukebox only really prepare for JSU and Texas Southern, with Grambling they know its no competition so they just go knowing they will blow them out.
