I'll never get over the Macklemore thing. Not only did he somehow beat Good Kid Maad City, Yeezus, AND Nothing was the same, all incredible albums that are still beloved a decade later. But Macklemore also won Best New Artist over Kendrick Lamar AND Kacey Musgraves!!!! Were the Grammys smoking crack in 2013????
MBDTF should’ve not only won best rap album but best album of that year. One of the greatest albums in any genre and the the greatest rap album no contest.
Give a chance to the heist, its actually a solid album with arguably no skips. Also the social concepts discussed in the songs give the abum a deeper meaning. Not even mentioning the album has 2 massive hits, Thrift Shop and Cant Hold Us the latter being one of the best songs in the industry in my opinion.
Man, for real I'm so happy that Freddie Gibbs was a nominee, I think he's a bit underratedd for the type of rapper he is. Hopefully one day he'll win a grammy
The Grammys couldn't have pulled off a more blatant theft by giving the award to the forgotten Macklemore instead of GKMC, YEEZUS or even NTWS. They only gave it to them because they were popular 💀💀💀

2014 Hill Drive and To Pimp A Butterfly both carried that year But flower boy and DAMN, and ROTD and IGOR were probably the closest the Grammy’s got besides the ones Travis Scott was robbed of.

MBDTF was a terrible album.. all of cardis albums are terrible. Another hot take. Macklemore easily deserved the grammy that year. All other albums sucked
