We stayed in the Marina Bayview at the top of the 156 steps from where your video was shot. Spent quite a few hours in Dirty Nelly's and the Belgian beer bar around the corner at sea level. Enjoy!

Amadores beach has got to be one of best beaches in the Canaries, if you have a walk round there look for the lizards 🦎 in the pipes on the right ! If you don't fancy walking back there's a taxi-rank or a bus stop don't forget your mask on the bus ! 👍
Popular channel Kevin .. it's a fair walk alright, totally different vibe on each island and locations Pueto Rico seemed a lot more up market back in the day, looking forward to the next one👍
gran canaria is a great place went there in may 2016 stayed in Amadores went to puerto rico it was a good walk and visited a market in Puerto De Mogan & Done The Safari Zig Zag

I am staying in Puerto Rico Gran Canaria. Every time I go downtown to a store or restaurant, I'm offered cocaine, marijuana, or hashish. Every time I leave the hotel they offer me drugs 2-3 times. it's very irritating, these people behave very brazenly and are most at ease among people. Many dodgy people in Puerto Rico. Restaurants lie about the prices, shops lie about the quality and price of the products. I complained to the patrolling policemen. They don't care, I'm sure they're in the game.
Loved the video Kevin I stayed in Playa Amadores Hotel Gloria Palace Royal lovely hotel but not much sun on some of the balconies if you stayed in the furthest away block its a good walk to the dining room. Rooms have great views of the beach, there's a lift up and down ground level. Enjoyed the video. Regards Des
Stayed at the Porlamar twice over the years, I spent most nights in Durty Nellys, never felt I needed a/con, the other side of the bay is a bar called harbour lights, if Rob is playing live it’s a good night
We stayed in the Marina Suites around the corner from that small strip of restaurants a few months ago. The Chinese upstairs was excellent and we had a surprisingly good yet cheap meal in cascada golf. Taj palace done a nice tandoori mixed grill but the chicken pakora was absolutely tiny (not like I’m used to in Glasgow 😂). It’s a good area to stay outside of the centre. Marina Suites was great and probably the best hotel Ive stayed in Puerto Rico. Can’t wait to go back.
Off to Puerto Rico in four weeks time staying at the Morasol just along from my favourite bar the Wigwam, spend a fortune in there, great video as usual Kevin keep up the good work, take care mate!

My parents stayed in apartment's near there for 5 winters. I take my words back it busier than usual. It's a fantastic place. I'm jealous, lol. Have fun.
50euro in a taxi from the airport to Puerto Rico, and as kev said it's about 50 mins -1 hour on the bus, taxi 2 most hotels from main centre is anything from 3-5euro day or night, where kev starts walking is half way 2 Arguinaguin just out side main Puerto Rico, heading back 2 the old road 2 the airport goes through maspalomas and so on, but the new motor way it's 20 mins in a taxi it's great, 5 mins further walk from where kev is standing is the main centre right in the middle of a valley, views down and out 2 sea are fabulous day and nite, up the top of the mountain on the far side past the bus station is the Europa centre, small but nice. Hope kev got a place on either hill side some half way up are 66euro a nite and an odd1 down the bottom, just need some luck, hope kev filmed the main centre work being going on over 3 years and was to be done 1 year ago but cowboy builders milking it and only 20 lads a day working, so the taxi men was saying, watch out for "THE PUB" god crack in there up stairs down the back of the centre
Another good video. Thing I don't like about Gran Canaria compared to Tenerife is all entertainment is set around centres which Imo is very '1980s' like when Tenerife back in the 80s early 90s had all its entertainment around centres before it became more modernised with the CC Veronica's really the last remnant of that albeit there's only 1 full one now. But I've been to Gran Canaria many times but just don't like the way the bars are clustered and aren't open largely during day.
I've been to gran canaria 5 times now, and I actually think Lamattina is one of the best restaurants in Puerto Rico, shame you didn't have the same experience, but I felt that they couldn't do enough for us and the food was amazing!

Question for you Kevin my wife and I were at Puerto Rico many years ago and where put off by the millions of cock roaches is this still the same issue thanks .
I was in Las Americas years ago, after a huge storm & it was infested with cockroaches, were literally crunching under our feet 🤮 but its not the norm..
i stayed puerto rico for 10 years before the euro came and just spoilt things i went back last year but could not settle i was glad to get away its was when all the migrants had took over a lot of apartments taxis are a nightmare if your staying up mountain,
Small bar up the back of the centre you can't miss it, it's about 20 foot wide and 30 foot deep, most sit out side, they sell Canarian beer 1€ a pint and it's 7.6 per cent and blows the head off you 😁😁😂😂😂
