The "goofball" white kid that was with Sue was actually one of Eastwood's son. I knew a lot of Walts through my life. We are few and far between in these "woke" times. We might be making a comeback now that everyone is tired of the BS. He was dying and notice he was on the sidewalk so the gang couldn't even claim that they were protecting their property. Good reaction.

I love your reactions and this movie is incredible! I am Catholic and want to clear up a few things. Only God can forgive sins, we agree on that. We Catholics believe God acts through a priest during confession. Also, priests can drink alcohol, they like everyone else are not supposed to get drunk. Of course nobody is perfect. 😊
@stevecn70
@stevecn70 6 дней назад
Yeah, and then you have to describe what "perfect" even is. For me, like you were getting at, we all have faults. What you do with it is what matters. Helping others out. If there was a God, I would assume he would know this. Maybe he didn't try to make us all prefect like we were told, maybe God is still learning too. Which would make a lot more sense.

Clint Eastwood's son, Scott, was asked if Clint gave him any words of wisdom when Scott was growing up, and he said it was "Toughen up, Princess." He was pretty much the same in real life that he was in the movies. Million Dollar Baby is another good, but super sad, movie of Clint Eastwood's.

Shortly before his death, Clint/Wally realizes how deeply he has anchored himself in prejudice and racism. The neighbors, especially the girl and the boy, seem like a liberation to him when he gets involved. Suddenly he has a family with children that he is absolutely proud of. For them it is not about a share in the inheritance but about him as a human being. The reaction of the two young people when they discover the blood says it all. There is only one chance to save the boy. He has to sacrifice himself in a way that puts everyone in prison. The boy and Daisy in the Grand Torino and Clint Eastwood singing in the background. Conclusion: It is never too late to question your own actions and thoughts. An absolutely outstanding film with excellent actors.
@tvdroid22

That "ripped" man, Clint Eastwood, was 78 when he did Gran Torino. He was really a beast in "Heartbreak Ridge." Fellas, your reaction was right on the nose. So many get caught up in an individual moment and get offended at something the character says, without looking at the big picture. You two nailed it and I really appreciate that.

Clint Eastwood is an American icon. He began his career making low-budget "Spaghetti Westerns" ( low-budget productions shot at Cinecitta Studios in Italy). He's become a respected artist, directing and acting in Award-winning films, like "Unforgiven " and "Million Dollar Baby ", with Hilary Swank where the parent/ child theme is strong again. He takes on a poor young woman who is dedicated to training as a professional boxer. A must-see. As usual, heartfelt reaction from my favorite movie buddies.

Hello guys! Not everyone in America puts their parents into a home. I think it is very disrespectful to do that to your elders! I spent so much time with my grandparents and learned so much from them and they were taken care of at home until the end by my parents. My Mom lived in her own house until the time she couldn't manage her care and medications anymore. My sister made a beautiful room in her home for our Mom, where her children and grandchildren (my nieces) could be with her. The room had a big TV on the wall and pictures of horses all around. We told the little girls (my nieces) the room is special because that room is where the angels would come to get Grandma, so it is safe. Once our Mom had passed (in the middle of the night) we removed all the medical equipment and we all sat on the bed and watched TV and listened to music and remembered Mom.

Not only is it a great movie, it's considered by some the best - and last - western movie made. Another is "Letters From Iwo Jima". It's about the American war against the Japanese in WWII. What's really unique, Clint Eastwood did the movie from the Japanese perspective with an all Japanese cast and it's mostly subtitled. Both are very much worth your time. I believe that biggest brands of dip are Copenhagen and Skoal. I used Copenhagen for about 15 years and then quit. The tobacco in Dip causes your mouth to produce saliva so you spit it out. When you start dip you get a strong buzz, but the buzz lessens over time. Dip is very addictive probably more addictive than cigarettes. It also can cause mouth cancer and loss of teeth.

GREAT reaction to a classic movie! Well done! Walt was a classic old-school American character. There were a LOT of them before all this woke/PC stuff. It's very heart rending the way he winds up connecting with Tao and Sue. GREAT acting and excellent writing makes this a classic! My dad was a WWII veteran. That generation was a breed apart. Most of them were raised through the Great Depression, then thrust into WWII. Their lives were hard. The lives of those before them were even harsher. My dad's father was raised fatherless after his dad (my great-grandfather) was driven out of the home by his wife's brother...an often angry dock worker. As a result, my grandfather was sent to work on the Panama Canal at 15 years old. His family was back in New York City. It's easy for us today to forget the tough times that forged those tough men the world over. GREAT reaction video! You both have great personalities for these reviews.

Great reaction. I wish I was a badass as Clint Eastwood, otherwise the story could be my own. Notice my avatar (or whatever they call it). It's not as nice, but it's the best I could do. A 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible with a 390. It has a new top, new convertible top motor (not the car's motor, the motor that puts the top up and down.). It has a new fuel tank, converted to disc brakes and the engine has been modified - mostly cosmetics for car shows. It's registered on a site with Hollywood in case they film around her (they do a lot) and need an old car. It wouldn't 't be driven, they would pay me to have it sit on the side of the road for an accurate looking background. It probably runs better now then it did in 1967. :)) - Just like in the movie, everyone wants my car and I can be an old grump.

In Christianity one does confess to God the Priest is just the conduit(the guide and instructor). And not all Christian sects get assigned a penance like in Catholicism.

Hey Lee… as I look out on today’s pop radio, it makes me sad for the listeners who feel they know what a great hit song is. Almost all of the songs you’ve been playing on your channel were big radio songs - huge hits - that were in everyone’s ears… we all benefitted from their talent. They were a vibrant part of our everyday lives - waiting to hear what the next great band or song would rise to the top. But today, it’s just a few companies own both the radio and streaming platforms, as well as the producers and artists, programming the next computer generated or group-written bs ‘hit’. It’s great that there are great artists and songs bubbling on levels underneath the popular stream, and I love seeking them out… but I miss the old days when competition made the music scene great! Oh, BTW… I bought these ST albums when they came out, when I was in college… and I always describe them as “what if Elton John & Pink Floyd had a musical baby?”
