@racingrevolution Thanks, but I used the "spinning-the-car-sideways-near-the-end" method and on my 2nd try I got something like 26.4xx. (and yes, ABS off!)
my method, abs off, auto, full revs from the start........hit the brakes not DEAD on 139, but after 139 but BEFORE 140, u have to wait that extra tenth of a second on 139mph, if you slam on immediately on 139 its a fraction too soon, and don't forget we are dealing in fractions here. Anyway, once you slam, maintain a straight line until just near the box, then turn full left and you skid the car round on its side, stopping inside the boxes but sideways on. 26.964 on my first atttempt.
27.000 right on the dot. too off manual trans and went with automatic. floored it right off the the bat and once i hit 139mph i just stomped on the brakes. worked for me first try after switching to automatic. (abs was one 1)
i just took it on the first shot with the hood view ,the gold,i feel awesome 145 mph i hit it, on the first shoot,it is better time as well, greeting...
please do not follow this! It does work but this isn't how you are supposed to drive in gran turismo! You sir are just doing the licenses for the sake of doing them... when all you had to is (just like in real life) gently and quietly lift your foot from the throttle, and hit the brakes with very very slight lift offs... Come one, you've waited years for GT5 to finally do this??
