GT6 can be nostalgic, but it didn't have the right tone for its engine sound which is something like a Vacuum cleaner. GT7 had the actual engine sound of the car, recorded in real time. What a big improvement in the sound department! Well, except how they made the F430 shift - like a DCT... It's supposed to shift a bit slower tbh because both Scuderia and the Base car in-game were represented with the Graziano F1 AMT gearbox.
I know right? They still need to improve the exterior chase view sound since its still doesn't sound realistic. Their strengths so far for GT7: Graphics, improved engine sound, free cars once a month etc.
@@gtone339chase cam sounds could always be improved, specially for some cars, for this car through its very close to reallife, All its lack is a bit depth, and more correct shifting, it shift a bit to fast, Otherwise this car is almost perfect in gt7, and sounds better than in most other modern racing games.
Yep, that would happen in another parallel universe. But in reality, it's a weird theory that in 2013, GT6 was released on the PS3 only, which is 1 month AFTER the PS4 console was released. But Polyphony decided to make their PS4 game from scratch, which is a huge step up.
Just wish that massive sun glare was toned down like 80% in GT7. It's like Kaz knows its a bit much, that's why we were given the option to turn it down in photomode. Lol.
@@andreasmoller9798 Aside from crap sounds in GT6, some cars in there (especially older GT games) sound like Vacuum cleaners. At least GT right now really went from Vacuum sounds to Real car sounds.
@@Orihalo_Gaming The worst sounds in GT lasted until GT6. GT Sport is where they finally made cars sound better than previous titles, as it's now carried over spiritually to GT7.
If you look closely, youll botice that GT6 car is higher polygon model than GT7. Exhaust pipes and tailights in GT7 are blocky. GT6s adaptive tesselation is doing its job.
The car doesn't really have adaptive tessellation. Only new and newly premium models have one. Well, give me a source. I haven't played GT6 for a long time so I could be wrong.
No everything about gt7 is better, and polygon is absolutly not as high on ps3 models, their is so much less detail, Exhaust pipes and taillights both look better in gt7, And so does everything else about the car, And when it come to the sound gt7 is another league, gt6 one sounds like crap.
As someone who's spent considerable amount of time on GT6 and managed to get GT7 right before the update that gave us this car, I completely disagree. In none of my gameplay videos are the 430 Scuderia's taillights or exhausts blocky. Not even remotely seeing where you are getting that idea.
@@RACECAR I mean its in te very video we are commenting ;-) Even on mobile screen i can clearly see that exhaust pipes are decagon shaped and not round. Taillights are albo blocky. Gameplay models usually also have heavily cut interiors (from outside camera) with low res texture instead of geometry. Ofc it all changes once you go to photomode. Then car model gets swapped to higher LOD.
They really could've reused this model with updated textures etc. the same way Forza does it with the late 360 era, first laser scanned models and it would've been a better choice than spending all this time to model a better, but not that noticeably better new model. Oh well, if you're all for quality over quantity then it's fine
I prefer Quality over Quantity. What Forza is doing right now is no longer acceptable for today's standards, the car models they reused back in the very first title in 2005, as well as FM2 and FM3 in X360, don't look accurate to the real ones. They were just upscaled for its subsequent titles and now, these models stay that way in the new Motorsport as if they claim it as "Built from the ground up", but they lied by reusing those car models that almost lasted for 2 decades. Except that they remodeled only ONE car which is the Subaru 22B STI. It makes sense why GT's Premium PS3 car models are remade from scratch for GT Sport & 7, because the PS3 textures on these car models wouldn't be able to hold up that well and it would likely sound impossible to improve the same PS3 quality model due to the maximum polygon limitations. That's why a model remake is the solution, because GT Sport is made in a new in-house game engine compared to previous titles' game engines per PS console generation, and it got spiritually carried over to GT7 with some improvements as it carries way more polygons for a car model. Even if GT is into Quality, the Quantity is expanding further as of today, so having a small or a big car list isn't really everything.
@@Rustic_3851 Well, that's why I mentioned late 360 era models, which were the first to be laser scanned. Not the earlier ones Also, Turn 10 and Playground clearly do upgrade textures etc. which is why the the same models now in FH look much better than they did in FM4
@@i_love_musique333 Yes. The late X360 car models from FM4, FH1, and particularly FH2’s X360 version are ok, that’s where Forza starts to use Laser-scanning technology. Turns out that the car models Turn 10 and Playground have are outsourced, as Gran Turismo modeled their cars in-house.
I disagree, because when ypu compare the models between both games you notice the difference. I still have GT6, and playing one vs the other is night and day, despite GT6 looking nice for its age.
@@i_love_musique333Gran Turismo PS3 actually retextured some PS2 car models. Only the exterior, because their interiors are pitch black because it’s impossible to put interior details due to game engine limitations in GT’s PS2 game engine.
