@@Captain_Al right on. The the wheel and VR are the way to go. I picked up the G Pro a month ago. I’m running all assist off except ABS and TCM 1. Loving the immersion.
Get an AWD race car and race in Gr4. The AWD cars are more stable when you get punted. I have been having great luck this week with Huracan Gr4. The BoP is pretty decent also.
Helpful video. I’d recommend removing all the cut away to other videos for comedic effect. I found myself fast forwarding through them all and thought they were pretty annoying. I think the video would be better without them. But that’s just my opinion.
That's a great video, even for those who already have some experience in Sport Mode! Just one correction: for GOLD in time trials you don't have to be in the top 3%, it's your lap time that has to be less than 3% from de best lap. Cheers Kireth 😎
1# advice get your SR to S rating and keep it there. Dont get into fights race clean practice avoiding accidents. Keeping your SR maxed will allow you to race in the cleanest races possible and thats what you want. Your goal should be to get better at racing not winning. Winning will come when you improve your racecraft.
I only started sport mode a few weeks ago and I've really enjoyed it. Mostly good experience and won a race yesterday which I saved the reply of to motivate me lol
In my opinion everybody should try it but after a few months the lack of diversity in race classes gets annoying, if they ever fix the multiplayer lobbies that would make online racing much better
Thanks for the video. I signed up yesterday and did my first few races. It went quite poorly. As a complete beginner i was expecting my fellow racers to be beginners as well but they were all driving really well in a pack and i was the lone guy in the back. Even got lapped 😅 . Question about the time trials and qualifying. are these the same thing? Which of these determines what other drivers you race with, and which one determines start position ?
so much fun. so exciting. I am driving VR Gt7 only. So for me, in class d/c i dont Always Take the fastest Car. More Like TANK Car...Nissan, Ford GT etc... For me, If there is a "Kimi C." on my ass, i Just stay straight on my Line. Even dont step to Full Gas . Mostly fuggers then Fugger themselves...^^😊
Sport mode isn’t showing up on my menu. Can’t find it in the settings. I don’t have much time after work so I’m trying to figure out how to get it working so I can jump straight in.
The yellow flag often appears and disappears very quickly. Maybe i misremember but I think i got a penalty for overtaking because there was no time to hit the brakes when the flag came up. Whats the best way to deal with this ? Thanks!

If you save your fastest lap you can share it in the showcase. From there, if you or your friends want to follow each others ghost, or a more achievable ghost, you can search for laptimes in the showcase. Add the chosen lap(s) to your favourites, then you'll be able to load them as ghost in the time trial menu.

Where is Sophy BTW? i reckon they have no idea how to implement Sophy. If Polyphony were to replace the current A.I it means they'd have to redo all gt7 races and balance things to make the races winnable and still challenging for all levels of driver. But nope.. They are sitting on it because the dont care enough to do the work. "Here's 3 more cars that are already in the game instead" . I feel you're the only one who can address this. I had to get into my yt account just to get my point across FYI
Isn't that the rating you start with ? I started playing yesterday and went into an open lobby with the beginner ratings, though I tried to race as clean as I could of course. I even waited with backing out of a wall I crashed into so others could pass first. Which now I realize was probably not necessary cause the game probably made my car transparant
Everytime I try sport mode it says I'm not allowed to.. I need to change tires or get specific cars??? I'm new how do I do that I have a lot of cars unlocked... Thanks
When one starts a race, and you see the bop modifiers applied to a car, does your car settings take effect or are all drivers on same settings? Similarity do I need to adjust my car power to be as close to the bop? Is it possible resetting my dr/sr as I’m new and just jumped in as a new player? Thanks in advance to those who respond.

Actually, I will suggest everyone to join the yearly ultimate challenge - National cup, racing with all the fans of GT, admit how slow you are, then find out how fast in your country. Toyota cup also fun, given lots of car
It's absolutely shocking. Starting the engine is a penalty, moving, anything is a penalty! I do perfectly fine on trial before the race then when it starts, the car starts acting completely different so I'm sliding round corners when I wasn't before. The game is genuinely rigged
Don't bother GT7's sport mode is just plain bad. It's a demolition derby all the time. DR system and penalty system work together to reward dirty drivers, and the safety rating system might as well not even exist. Polyphony does not care about the quality of online play. Sell your PS5 so you can play the new Forza Motorsport.
