Yep, today. The challenge became pretty much impossible since. I had to do it with more than 10% less HP, pretty much same setup you had and the same car. After the 2nd pitstop I just about managed to get in P1 (faultless 40 minute driving, around 26es and 27s average) while the tyres were still alive, then what followed was ugly but fun - 20 minutes of blocking P1 with backmarkers in the mix (P20 and P19)... Mix 6 half the time because fuel was running low. Tyres dead the last 10 minutes. Did lots of illegal swerving and blocking but kept the bastard behind me for 0,2 sec lead across the line.
After the millionth try, it finally worked. I set my difficulty from hard to normal, not sure if that made a difference. I kept restarting the race at the beginning every time I sensed that the AI will have an unfair advantage. I also did 6 laps first, then pitted every 5 laps. Automatic, 4.7 refuel works confirmed for auto.
I follow your instruction for mu second attemp and I won with 30 seconds of advantage. First attemp I tryed to extend the pit stop and I lose by half a second . Thanks for the tutorial I hope you make tutorials for the rest of the races
Did not work. Got third place. Was pretty consistent lapping around 2:26 2:27 as well. 1st were in the lead by +30. 2nd I kept getting closer, was +7 at the end. I am also on hard difficulty because the ai is easier (glitch).
