It works well with Yaw 2, which is actually affordable (well, perhaps more so than others). You can find some footage of GT7 + PSVR2 + Yaw2 (or other motion simulators) on youtube.
@@bigboycam1108 I have a rig that's on springs with four corner haptics....it makes the motion sickness go away because it feels more real.....I assume a full motion rig would make it even better
It’s like PSVR1 was for the PS4. It’s not the biggest thing, but it’s an awesome experience - just not in the level of detail you would get with a flat 4K screen. And certainly the double-image/ghosting is VERY noticeable with the VR replays in GT7. It’s not bad, but they hyped it up too much. It’s down to the games to make this better. Unless I develop my VR sense better - I’m going to stay away from driving in VR. Hopefully the VR2.5 will have higher refresh rate.
For info, the reason why you were slow in the tomahawk at space X is because you hadn't press the overtake button. Basically that reduces the drag and gives you even more topspeeds and crazier accelerations
You are definitely a better driver with VR. Your control over the car is spectacular, especially drifting. There's no way you'd drift like that without VR. Bravo 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Of all the PSVR video i've seen on Gran turismo, you are actually the only one having that constant shaking. Maybe a calibration problem idk but it's definitly not normal
Yeah, it's because the windshields have a deliberate effect that blurs rivals cars so people don't realize its sometimes the cars with thicker windshields or slight tints that can diffuse outside the car
You need to get yourself some Meclizine one hour before driving in VR. I also have motion sickness from riding in other people’s cars, and I found that I’m particularly sensitive to VR and HORRIBLY sensitive to those “4D” rides in Disney and Universal Studios. Meclizine is non-drowsy.
Great vid! I do however recommend that you take a water break when you start feeling sick. Pushing through motion sickness risks making it so absurdely much much worse.
if you ever think you don't get motion sickness in VR hedseat I recommend simulator mode in Warthunder I felt my stomach go upside down and then i was burping like crazy for the rest of the evening :D
1 thing I've noticed about psvr2 is that it really has a capitalist effect on the community. Making posts in facebook groups I normally get 100's of reactions in, I got 1 so far in over 24 hrs on my vr post when trying to make some more vr friends. In public lobbies when I ask who has vr, I get ignored, insulted, or people running into my car. Lobbies with vr in the title usually consist of the host and just me, maybe 1 other person joins for 5 min before leaving. I've never seen poor people so divisive on videogames before. Can't wait til everyone affords it over time. Really is such an amazingly positive experience with such negative feedback from the less fortunate.
If u want I can give you a 412mph hold down your overtake tho tune I would help with speed glitch but ur a big RU-vidr and it would be patched or ppl would abuse it a lot more
From playing in VR I honestly don’t see why everyone is making a huge deal out of it. It is cool to have a VR racing game but they way they are handling it is a bit bad. It’s not full VR. You can’t use the VR controls (at least of me) and the flat screen kinda makes me a little nauseous not just from the game but also the home menu.
I have no problem playing call of mountain, however, this vr racing game made me feel very dizzy, I am vomitting now. And the 3d view is far inferior than call of mountain.
