I’ve absolutely loved the format. Racing consistently well for 15mins is one thing, but doing it for 50+ is another and when you do, it’s so satisfying.

This is by far PD’a greatest achievement in the daily races in what feels like decades. Great race. 1x fuel and 2x tyre wear make this a close race for all, mistakes not withstanding. My first race started from the back P16 and finished P3. Was very happy. Best 50 mins of my life thus far.

My only relationship to GT7 is your videos (I used to play GT1 to GT4 as a kid) and my favorite races are always endurance. I still remember the rainy Nurburgring race from 1 or 2 months ago, was epic.

I’ve done this race once this week and had so much fun I didn’t want to spoil it by doing it again. Wish they’d do a mini-series of Daily Race Cs where we have this combination of cars and laps, but at other tracks. Monza, Interlagos, Bathurst, Dragon Trail seaside, etc.

In my opinion, they need to make daily race c an endurance race such as this every week. Maybe have race b somewhere in the middle and race a, a sprint race.

Endurance is what separates the drivers from the weekenders. My favorite thing to do at MSR Houston is make a bet with the Porsche 911 and McLaren drivers that they can’t lap me in a 60min session while I am driving my SCCA legal stock autocrossing MX-5. 😅

The TLDR is I have to do a consistent 1:54, they have to do a consistent 1:50.4 which is much harder on street legal tires no matter the car.

The lenght is terrific but what slightly annoys me is that there's no weather change, no day to night transition and rolling starts are still messy. Problems that are easy to solve, really.
