This dynamic lighting is something amazing. Many people complain of not being able to see the difference but the difference there is and noticeable. Though not as we used to from previous generations. The graphics move forward. However, over the last decade, graphics have not moved as well as they once were, but they are gradually improving as the image approaches photorealism. And photorealism can no longer be improved. What used to look like a circle looked like a rough square. Pixels were gradually added and the circle improved over the generations, making it almost a perfect circle. that's why driveclub looks so good today. Gran turismo 7 has made changes but these are not revolutionary but evolutionary changes which are wonderful. Lighting is something breathtaking. I finally see a beautiful palette of colors. No faded colors but beautiful contrasting colors. A beautiful example of an evolutionary leap is when riding a Nissan GTR. Gt sport looks gorgeous. But the action works mechanically. like other racing games that have beautiful graphics. But when we see gran turismo 7 and its lighting and minor improvements to the texture of background and model of the car. the combination is breathtaking. Especially at gradual sunset. It is no longer a game like any other, but it really looks very premium and exceptional. Beautiful

The presentation of cars at the dealership is much better in GTS than GT7. It seems they took a step back.

Good video. You have confirmed what I have always said after GT7 released.. There is no tangible step-up or advancement from GTsport. GTsport still looks and plays awesomely. Side by side, there really isn’t much incentive to get GT7. In fact, I do think that GTsport does some things better than GT7. It appears that they have hit a technical brick wall with Gran Turismo - in that they don’t seem able to evolve the game much more since 5+ yrs ago. I’ll stick with GTsport 👍🏼

Received gt 7 ps5 from gamefly today and after an hour I'm not really impressed. The biggest difference is the game is actually playable with the dualsense. I could only play gt sport with a wheel but sold it a while back. Gt 7 just looks like a slight upgrade to sport.

It looks exactly like GT5 vs GT6 in my eyes... Even the availability of yellowish sunlight in GT6 vs lack thereof in GT5

The diferences are not huge but they are cleary there. Way less pop ups, better AA and all that with 4k60. It could be better but it's fine. The Cars however look way more detailed and "polished". All in all it looks great.

Light, shadows, reflections, and resolution were improved, as you can clearly see in the video...but hey "it looks exactly like GT5" to some people...dude, c'mon, I guess only a good ophthalmologist can solve your problem.

How were you able to set 4k in PS5 for GT Sport ? As of now the display setting is greyed out as Performance mode for me. This is not fair, they shouldn't force us to play in performance mode in GT Sport so that GT 7 will look better next to it.

They're the same picture. Obviously there are differences but it's not much of a jump. I have both Sport, and 7, and although I've only had a couple of races with a basic Honda hybrid and that first Music Rally thing, I was immediately aware at how small a graphical upgrade 7 was. This is on a PS5. I'm going to play and enjoy it immensely but I can still feel a twinge of sadness at how little it takes advantage of the PS5 massive power hike.

Remember Gran Turismo 2 to Gran Turismo 3 Graphical Jump 😅. Nothing compares to this 😅

GT Sport did Brand Central much better than the full GT7 release , PD can always change that for GT7 Spec 2 ...

Sounds are too soft in gt7, and ive also noticed that transmission whine volume has also been heavily reduced👎👎👎

This is not fair comparison. You should look at the PS4pro version of gt7. GTS on PS5 is a PS4 game.

Can't put 70$ in to this. There's a minimal improvement. If any..

Pause the video at 3:43, and I would like someone to tell me what the hell is “next gen” about this game. It could have came out only on PS4 and nobody would question it. Its gt sport with a few tweaks, and in some areas actually looks worse, with less realistic colours and shadows that are just too dark. Couldn’t be more disappointed. But then again that’s how I’ve felt about every gran turismo after GT4. For people to make out this game is groundbreaking is absolute blind GT fan boy bias.

Cross gen title is very disappointing.

More than 4 years apart from each other and 7 looks barely that different from sport. Couldn't they really create a large improvement during that time?

GT7 looks incredible even on the ps4 PRO! 4K mod and 1080p mod with motion Blur. Great Game! The Asphalt Shaders are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GT sport has more realistic lighting and colour palette,also better wet surfaces . They had to make visual sacrifices to add in the dynamic elements

As expected, barely a difference at all. Graphics on sport weren’t all that with the scenery. Cars looked good though. This isn’t great comparing different times of day to try make 7 look better haha

GT7 is terribly bad, I don't want a racing game with good photo mode and replays, I want good gameplay and realistic sound effects! This title should not have existed.
