Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec is one of my favorites! I have the first four games in the series for the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2. Amazing compilation!

Gt5 entered a new era with Nascar, and F1 cars and sports cars. Gt 1-4 was mostly Japanese tuners with some other race cars but from the same Gt League. Gt5 has different types of leagues in there so that was really cool to see in Gt5. Gt4 is my childhood one though but the new ones are looking great.

Gt4 was my core childhood memories of this game with it being the best intro imo. I'm 20 now so this game is as old as me and it's cool to replay 1 through 3. Gt4 is and will always be in my heart.

GT3 may not be the craziest intro, but I'll never forget my jaw dropping when I saw those photorealistic graphics in that into for the first time

You all remember the awe and excitement you felt when you first started up GT1. The camera moving over the road.. the buildup of the music.. SO epic. And GT1 was such a huge revolution for home gaming.. coming from freaking MarioKart lol. Incredible.

Gran Turismo 6 intro gives me the chills. GT is that type of game when you play it, you transfer into another world.

I still like that GT4's intro is an opera that cuts to Panama by Van Halen It ties for my favorite with GT3

For nostalgia reasons GT1 intro is my favourite. Still get goosebumps watching it, I remember my jaw dropping seeing those graphics.

GT5 is my first car driving game, and I still play it. Even everyone has a PS4 and XBOX, my dad can’t have enough money for a new PlayStation for GT Sport.

GT1 intro (and the whole game) was simply incredible for its time. A true revolution in video games.

GT4 is the most fun to play and long lasting GT series ever. The career mode and car lists were so great compare to today GT Sport.

I remember when Gran Turismo first released for PS1. It was such a revolutionary game. No one had seen anything like it. I played that game for hours on end. Gran Turismo was the complete package.

Gran Turismo 1 has by far the best intro. This is how I remember 90's, games were more creative, had better scenes, music, everything except graphics was better

The GT2 intro gave me chills and transported me back in time. Awesome.

The intro for GT1 gives me chills. I haven't played GT sport yet but out of the others the first one was the best by far, and the rest were just technical upgrades that were more geeky and sterile each time. GT1 just seemed darker and more adult. It also came with a real paper manual that explained racing lines and weight transfer, and was the first place I learned about those things. Each car in game had a description that talked about its handling characteristics, history etc. which were honest about the cars' shortcomings. The PAL soundtrack had very dark and rhythmic music, and the menu/dealership music had a "best motoring Japan" kind of vibe to it. Nothing sounded happy or relaxed it was all serious business... except for the car wash lol. It was also vastly superior to any other racing game out there at the time, especially on console. I know it's partly an age thing because when I try to think about games that excited me as much as this I think Final Fantasy VII, the first Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear Solid. But I also think that that era is when 3D single player games were still breaking new boundaries.

Anyone else remember getting GT1, taking the disc out of the packaging, sitting there, watching that epic intro for the very first time and then playing the game? They were onto a real winner right from the start. I Loved the GT series right up to the time where you couldn't 100% complete the game without going online. Great memories from my childhood.

None of them beat the the GT 1 intro with the chemical brothers soundtrack. As a kid seeing that for the first time it just blew my mind.

GT 1 and GT 2 💕💕💕💕💕 You know you are legend is when playing GT 2 for 100 laps or even 200 laps without stopping and have to finish it until ends because after you are the 1st winner that's when you can save your game for tremendous marathon racing.

GT2 & GT4 intros are the BEST! The FAITHLESS REMIX of "My Favourite Game" in GT2 is awesome! The way it flows along with the intro is just pure awesomness... 🙌 I LOVE IT! GT4 is great as well! It's part of the best ones! ✌

GT5 through-and-through. Countless good vibe memories but even tho I never play GT2 and the rest of the titles: GT2 has such brushed up visuals kinda jazzy, the music just is fantastic. For its time I think is impressive and has a satisfying aesthetic

I remember watching the gt1 intro and realising then, this game was gonna be awesome. Couldn't belive the jump in graphics on gt3 spent 2 hours looking at the cars in the dealer before even attempting the licensed.

This is not the original GT2 intro song version. And the person who created the video also forgot the GT PSP. And I prefer the GT2 intro, maybe because it was the first one I played.

I remember being about 6 or 7, my dad owned a PS1 and gave it to me and I had GT1 with that console. GT1 was one of my favorite games as a kid, and the PS1 was my first ever console, until my mom sold it for 100$, during the time, my father got me a PS3 and got me GT5, I loved that game so very much, I played it day and night non-stop, ive had my PS3 for about 2 years, until someone stole it and sold it at a swap meet in Panorama City, seeing the PS1, and the PS3 along with GT1 and GT5, brings me to tears because of how much I loved these games and how precious my memories of them were, I treasure these memories and Im happy that technology exists. Anyone else have a story?

GT4 was wayyyy ahead of its time. It's one of the four games in PS2 that supports 1080i graphics and 60 fps dammm

This video was like a walk back through my childhood. I was obsessed with gt ever since I first played the demo for gt 1 and my dad somehow managed to get me a release poster which I cherished dearly. Fast forward almost 20 years and gt is now deeply ingrained in the world of racing in a way that probably no one ever thought. I'm looking forward to the next 20 years of gt. One thing I need to ask, is it me or does the audio cut out and skip at certain parts? As iconic as the old intros are for me, I have to say that 5-2.0 and 6 are my favorites and my least favorites was 3 and the second half of 4. Jus think they could've done better than Lenny Kravitz and Panama :/ time for some fun! Which track is your favorite? Pick one for real life circuits and one for gt original circuits. For me, original - trial mountain will forever have a place in my heart and RL- nurburgring, green hell all the way baby!!

Unpopular opinion: I think GT5’s intro is the best. It captured something that the others just couldn’t hold up to.

gt6 is the game i played when i was young and i LOVED that intro and my older brother would always skip it and i would get mad at him because i wanted to listen to it XD good times man

When I started playing the very first version of this game franchise, THE only thing I was interested in when was 10 years old, I just thought this game was awesome. Every SINGLE race and licence and endurance race just seemed to challenge me and test the extreme and somehow, just somehow, I always seemed to win races sometimes from pole in the first I ever did, or just came back from the back of the grid when I was in last place. But all those memories taught me one thing: you could buy the cars you wanted and mod any car you chose. But from the very first time I saw gran turismo's intro, one thing always stuck itself into my mind. The most legendary game in automotive history had meet all the great racing games from the past and melded GT into one game which could never, ever, be beaten. Best game of my life, and a huge thankyou to polyphony digital. You guys are the BEST!!!!!!!!!

I remember playing GT1 from a broken disc (literally a chunk of it wasn’t there) from my PS2 by opening the disc tray and then closing it while loading races

Got my ps1 for $40 including gt1. Booted this bad boy up. Intro got me hooked on the ps1 and gran turismo from there on out

GT6 was pure marketing genius! re-release the same game with identical tracks n graphics, add a few updated vehicles then kill all the servers that housed the previous version's online races forcing the masses to "have to" run out and buy the new game in order to continue playing head to head online. I'm not even interested in Gran Turismo Sport. they keep pushing the release date back. was supposed to be out last fall, then spring 2017. now I think the official date is December 31st?! but I digress... the best intro to me was always GT3 with GT4 a close second.
