I was 7 years old and played this game religiously, the way the Japanese designed it is almost like they were teaching young car enthusiasts for the future. Die hard Jdm guy to this day 🤘
It's too bad they made so many technical errors. Only Nissan Skylines, Civic Type R, and Mini Coopers can get displacement ups in the game. In reality any car with enough of a thick block or housing can be viable for displacement ups especially muscle cars from USA. Also one can turbo charge Mustangs, Corvettes and Vipers and even NSX's so why no turbo option for innate NA cars. They also made the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 have the wrong wheelbase, track F/R, and overall width. The Lister Storm and XJ220 race cars are over weight in the GT games as well.
You have some good points there! I haven’t looked into those, but yeah I think they were a little biased towards Japan when they made it, if you read the description for the corvette it says it makes a good drift car lol, far from the truth!
Such a fitting noise for Nissan back in the day. Fast. Un-behaved. You know I was just setting up guitar to play along to some of these....and while setting up the amp and getting in tune I had to stop this one, saying subconsciously "hey slow down there, Nissan!" because the onslaught of NISSAN NOISE was just too much to bare. Yeah, in Gran Turismo, Nissan is THAT fast :D
@@karelpipabut plenty of those tunes brought when you just hear about just the name of the manufacturer, in this case it sounds like the stereotype of a JP ad while giving you a feel of familiar and relieable
Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo/Lancer Evo 4 GSR, Nissan Pulsar/Skyline GTR R33, Honda NSX, Subaru Legacy Sport Wagon, Toyota Supra RZ/Chaser/MR2 GTS, Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, Dodge Viper GTS and more... This game as changing my life.
Who else maxed out an R33 GTR VSpec and just won all the things? This guy did. When this game came out the R34 wasn't even a thing yet, because it hadn't been made! Think about that.
I did. My brother in law never saw any GT games played, and in summer of 2019 I got to show him this. We picked out the car that WE wanted, and he chose the R33 GTR VSpec in gray. He and I played together at his grandma's house saving up for all the parts before finally we pushed the Racing Spec button. When we last played, we turned that boy up to hit 233mph. Needless to say, it was an amazing summer. I wish he was around when the game first came out like I was!
@@itsikorol The BNR33 is not as loved as the other GTRs but I have great memories of its capabilities from this game. I got the racing mods the green and red racing livery and just dominated then I got the other racing spec cars from all the other dealers. They didn't call the R33 "Godzilla" for nothing.
@Xaluber AGREED! I want to know if this Nissan dealership sound track is available to buy on CD anywhere?? Absolutely beautiful!! One of the best ever games of this generation.
@MyRidgeRacer Agreed. Some of the songs in the japanese version was better. Isamu Ohira is a great composer. From GT2 onward they started using his music in the U.S./Euro versions of games as well.
1:38 - 2:08 Perfect tone for me!!! These will reminder me how aggresive is a King (Men) and how cute is Queen (Women), when they merged into ine marriage relationship, they will unleashed the most powerful power of life!!! These tune always inspired me into how amazing the power of the spouse...
I want the manufacturers with own tuning shop and used car dealrship coming back in GT7 with their own music... instead of the same dull jazz tunes... Don't get me wrong, I like Jazz music in Gran Turismo but they put always the same tracks and they start to be boring and overdid Who agree?
@misfitwarrior You arent looking hard enough. Its there. The link i gave you is to the site. But here is he full link. It will take you directly to the GT1 tracks. gh.ffshrine. org / soundtracks / 977 Copy and paste. And remove the spaces.
