I really like Red Bull Ring. Many decent overtaking spots. You just need to avoid penalties in turn 1 and last two corners. Easy one of my favorites, I won 5 races in a row here already.

@@BRKsEDU ahahaha, mas essa pista é complicada mesmo, cedo ou tarde você acaba errando, muito fácil perder o controle do carro ou pegar penalizações nela, com o tempo vai pegando o ritmo certo pra correr nela e das entradas e saídas de curvas (principalmente as duas primeiras que são bem chatinhas rs). Mas é isso aí, vamo que vamo!

Jonathan Johnson I know how you feel I spent ages trying to get all the circuit experiences gold because it give you a free car each time you get gold for everything on that track and this is what I got 3 in a row (after all the hatd work I had done) a gr.4 Peugeot, gr.b Peugeot, then to top it all off I get a Volkswagen Golf. (Like an n400 or something like that I didn’t check(I jumped off a bridge))

I swear the daily workouts are biased towards winning the cheaper cars, I actually cry when I see a ~15mil Shelby Daytona or gt40 but end up getting the Peugeot 208.

That's really weird - not only did you and the guy in the lead engage NOS at the same time, but so did Tag Heuer! Look at the lap timer when you both engage NOS - the Tag Heuer lap timer speeds up as well! Crazy!

The nitrous also increased their ability to turn and brake. Hmm, perhaps the added explosions coming out the exhaust helped propel the car around the corner with the help of rotation, while the increase in power aided the car's ability to engine brake.

I started playing GT Sport recently, and love the Red Bull Ring. That being said, all I have is a Corvette Gr3 car, and managed to do a 1.30.1 on the ring in the daily race. Can't get lower than that, unless I improve. I feel like the R8 is definitely OP, everyone seems to be in it.

This circuit with the gr3 benz.....is like heaven. The stability. It feels like a gr4 car on accel from turns. Remember I always told you about how I never won a race for like 6 months of playing.....then I won my first ever last month and have won 3 more since. I've been on fire in B level DR ....definitely improving. It is what it is. I get alot of abuse....I'm a very respectful driver and should take much more risks. I just got knocked wide taking 1st place on lap 2 and would've easily walked away with the win but P1 took me out too on accident. Dropped me to 12th and I came back to 5th. I would've won for sure.

Hey Steve, you should have a look at the liverys which i've done for you. I made some for #SuperGT and some for #ShadowGT. I also created the logos of your partners SimLab and Fanatec for that. Glad to see a different track make an appearance in dailies. Can see why you've created a second account. I've had some absolutely brilliant races over the past couple of days. My DR has slightly improved but SR has taken an absolute hammering, which meant I was in very poor quality lobby in todays nations race. Red Bull Ring is track where a lot of light paint swapping and door handle rubbing tends to occur. The SR drops after the slightest contact are way too harsh.

I agree completely. I just find that if you want to be competitive and actually "race" then your SR is gonna drop. The slightest tip gives you a negative rating. Its a joke

My SR dropped from 99(S) to 52(B). I've managed to get it back up to 95 but feel I'd better quit while I'm ahead, which is a shame because I was having a lot of fun on RBR. I'll have to go the way of Super GT and Kie25 by making a second account to enjoy dailies without worrying about how it'll affect points in the nations and manufacturer competitions.

@@mathewhosier1663 Sorry to offend your sensibilities but I don't know any drivers of GT3 and most people are aware I would imagine of the a for mentioned drivers and their dynamic driving styles. Also if F1 cars are more difficult to drive, it emphasises their abilities even more.

Super I found a tactic I use in outdoor race karting is brake earlier then the guy you want to pass and power out the corner and it will allow you to pass the opponent

Great video, especially the talk through the qualifying lap. What value do you have for Traction Control? I use 2 because of my heavy right foot, should I change to 1 and relearn how to accelerate? I have been playing Gran Turismo for 20 years. Yesterday was the first time I tried the daily challenge, practiced at 1:32.8 in the Supra. Did about 8 races and got down to a 1:31.6 and now I can see some areas to improve on. You have a very smooth calm style, great to watch your racing.

I was in a lobby yesterday where a couple of guys were laying into a Spaniard for dirty driving. Watched the replay and it was them dive bombing him and hitting him then complaining they got undeserved penalties. The Spaniard had done nothing wrong. I also can't get the porsche or the audi to work on this track but the Aston Martin I have no problems with.

4:49 Turn 2? Turn 2 is just a slight left hand bend. The really brutal one is turn 3. Some maps neglect to consider the bend on the 2. straight a turn, but according to the ofiicial map, the bend IS a corner.

Lost SR on my own mistakes, lower rated lobbies are kamikaze dive-bombing paradise. Got 3x3 second penalties from people blasting me in turns 1 and 2 from half a second or more back. Still like the track now that my SR is getting back up from pacing gaps in the middle of the pack

Lol same issues here, I actually enjoy this track but it has been a bit dirty. Since I've gone down in SR I'm qualifying in/near the front so I've been able to recuperate a little (was all the way down to C from S after 2 bad races!), but it's not always easy when you get stuck in the lower ranks. This track seems weird with penalties though, I think that's the main issue... like I'll be blatantly punted from way back, lose a bunch of time because of that, get passed by a few people because I'm shoved wide, and then I get a 3-4 second penalty while the rammer flies into the distance unscathed lol. It's like the game thinks I'm parking on the apex to screw people, but in reality they're flying up the inside with a move that was never going to be clean, even when I try to make room I still end up getting penalized, or at the very least lose some SR. I've made a few goofs myself, but the absolute worst one only got me a 1 second penalty, while the guy I sent into the shadow realm was handed 4 seconds lol.

Yeah, gets ridiculous. Just ran a few more races, complete gridlock in turn 1 and when I came through got penalty and SR down for bouncing off the spinning cars, welcome to lower lobby hell. Got completely blasted off the circuit twice and went from 6th and 8th to 15th both times. 3 second penal for devil rammer. Oh yeah, and being at the back I get to try to deal with the swerving mervins just beginning. I swear with my own mistakes and the pile of bad luck that follows once you drop a level it starts to look like the forza lobbies anyway

RE: the last two corners - I’ve heard that as long as your left side tires go over the red and white curb first, you are ok. If your front two wheels go over the curb first = penalty

I think I'll give that one a shot now that I've heard it mentioned a few times. I'm a B/S (well usually... B/B right now) as well, with my best time in the Audi at 1:30.2 but I've been driving that a lot lately and think it's time for a change! I can't for the life of me seem to keep that pace during races on this track though :( At least I've been qualifying good though... and that's half the battle.

Im a novice trying to get better. I checked the top cars on the qualifying times, and it was usually the hurrican or the R8, I picked the Lambo and I regret it 😭 all it wants to do is slide. R8 seems so planted. I know I’m far from good but man the Lambo feels like the margin for error is ZERO. Now I need to save CR to get the R8. BTW I’ve learned so much from this channel. Thanks 💎

Mustang is super fast and stable but turns like a truck so you have to get your turn in and corner speed spot on or you will run wide in it if you are running at pace.

I used to play racing games for the arcade-y "NFS" when I first gamed, then Forza for the drifting and now running into your channel is getting me into personally tuning and making any car into a beast. So satisfying to flawlessly fly through corners at the top speed possible for that turn. Take a while to master though.
