This move at 6:05 was sick! I still can’t believe we both survived this corner 😱🤣 Super (GT) strong pace with the Supra on this track. No chance for me in the McLaren this time, even if I had a perfect run.👍

This race is just a nightmare. No one knows their braking point or distance, so they all brake too early. And everyone seems to be very physical to block of the road.

To be fair to people? Out of all the tracks in the game maybe the world this is easily one of the hardest(the hardest in game) to learn/practice let alone master

If the issue is everyone else braking too early, it means that you somehow ended up behind them after qualifying. Which means they're still doing something better than you. Possibly braking earlier.

Took me 2 hours, but I finally learned Nurburgring. Track is too narrow for overtaking but it’s pretty fun to be in a train zooming through the trees👌🏾

5:30 Actually I would beg to differ. Being in first place means you have nobody to draft, and everybody is constantly bugging to get around you. You also feel the real stress and push to go faster, which can result in crashing if you are not good under pressure.

Good stuff! 👍👍 in real life you drive the Carousel only on the concrete slabs, this is the fastest way, you don’t touch the concrete on the left side or you can brake your suspension...

The way they apply the penalty time in one go at the start of long straights is abysmal.

yeah, why don't they just subtract it at the end of the race? forced deceleration just ruins your race, and doing it in front of a long straight section just magnifies the penalty.

@@AshalmawiaI think a penalty should feel like a penalty, don't do stupid things if you don't want your race ruined! Of course... This particular penalty system needs tweaking for GT7 since some of the decisions the computer makes are just asinine.

@@combativeThinker The problem with that is a decent penalty system needs to work for every race. Sure ghosting known bad actors will work for them but what about those who sometimes throw a wobbly and punt people off. They ALSO need to be penalised just as harshly.

Hi Steve. Love your videos, especially those with the Nordschleife. I’ve seen through some of your older videos over the last month, and it seems like when you “go for the cutback” like you did in 17:06, almost all of the time gets the job done perfectly and clean. Is this something you should try to do more often?

Hey how the staying on inside to overtake works? Why does the opponent gives you the opportunity to squeeze into the space? Also if the space is created, can't you narrow him down so that he doesn't take up the inside?

6:30 Your second lap was an 8m17s and you were 4.5s behind. If you'd gone with your qualifying pace it could've gotten exciting :) 16:18 Deliberately getting a mediocre exit speed onto the back straight so he overtakes you at the start of it might allow you to slingshot back past him. Dunno if that would be considered lame, but the track and the way slipstream works kinda calls for it.

It's definitely a legitimate tactic. You do have to manage the gap and give them the slingshot early or make sure they're RIGHT on your tail so they can't get the momentum.
