Supplementary Damage stacks with the supplementary damage from buffs, like Ferry or Percival. If you equip one Supplementary Sigil and use the buff, you'll notice that some hits get a extra damage even higher, and that is the damage with both supplementary effects, making these and others characters with this buff even better for this sigil.

300 curios box opened from Vulkan 0 Supp Damage 0 War elemental , i did 30 Runs on the normal goblin had a supp damage IV my first one ( i think the curios box is just fully RNG)

Farmed 50 boxes from this today, over a longer period of time/extensive session...... got nothing. Zathba isn't too fond of me trying to sweet talk him into giving me the war elemental sigil it seems! He was nice enough to give me a supp. damage IV+ though(with a horrible extra stat on it)

Thanks! I was (and still am) a bit skeptical about the supposed "bias" but this is indeed a good stage for end game AFK farming. Found out that I was able to complete AFK farm this stage by putting my strongest char on AI and stack myself with tons of defensive sigils (since it's maniac difficulty, assist mode is disabled). Let's see if the bias is true :)

I can assure this is pure RNG Based, I beat AFK Goblin Leader at Very Hard it gave me Supplementary and war elemental in 2 Hours,...

I just wanted to leave a comment here letting anyone who is skeptical know that this did indeed work for me and a buddy of mine. We both started with zero Curios and we farmed a total of 21 Curios from Maniac difficulty Vulkan Bolla and BOTH of us left with both War Elemental and Supplemental Damage V's.

Im surprised this actually worked for me too. Makes you wonder if there is a stage to that drops supp+ more often

I managed to get my first War elemental from a curio that I got from this quest as well. It prob was the run where I managed to kill Vulkan in around a minute due to link attacks and IO's paralysis (rando team btw) and got the highest rating, which makes me wonder if mission rating has anything to do with it. My other attempts weren't that lucky and in the end, the curios didn't give me anything too surprising.

I think this actually works. I see some people claiming curios are totally RNG but I don't think that is the case for a few reasons. 1. If you get a curios early game, it will usually give you common sigils like tier 3 and such whether you open it when you get it or you wait till level 100 proud difficulty to open it. However I never see those sigils now I am in proud difficulty and have only new curios boxes. 2. What you said in the video about doing a couple of dozen runs and seeing both sigils multiple times 3. Curios is the only thing you cannot reroll, if you save game before spending msp on over mastery, or knickback vouchers you can return to title and reload game. It will still give you the same items or over mastery rolls when you reload the game, but if you do 1 mission it will reset the loot table and stat rolls. But this does not work for curios, think of curios as a more obscure version of an unidentified item system (diablo 2, path of exile), the game has already decided whats in the box it doesn't matter when you open it. 4. Another thing I noticed, is if you check the drop items you can see it drops quick charge IV+, charged attack V & overdrive assassin V. Ironically also all attack sigils, and the video suggested that the curios also seem to only give attack sigils. This might suggest the type of sigils you get from a curios relates to the type of sigil the content you got it from drops. What is important is where you got the box and what level you were when you obtained it is my best guess. From those 3 points I would say, the curios boxes are RNG to a point but have a few variables which effect what appears and what does not based on what stage of the game you are playing + what content you played. Anyway gonna go give this a shot, I am the unluckiest person ever for RNG so if I get one in less than 50 runs assume the video is correct lol.

also anecdotal evidence, but i farmed volkan on maniac for damage cap sigil upgrade materials, and i got my war elemental during that grind

I just happened to be doing that inferndile quest just for some merits and saw that it dropped curios, gonna keep doing that if vulkan don’t work out as much

My 1st time beating him on maniac yesterday I got supplementary V sigil.

This can indeed be a thing :O ! I farm this guy a lot backdays to lvl my damagecap sigils V, and eventually i end with 3 elemental wars. Then i play a lot of endgame, more than 100h, without geting a single one more. 2 days ago i need one of his tails material and kill him around 8 times again for it T_T... and yesterday when i unlock the curio i had 1 more! So maybe, just maybe, this can even work :o still rng probably... i try yesterday the rainbow slime farm with full assist mode and had no luck, but a guy share a screenshot in discord where he had 2 of him in the same round, so who knows T_T

I farmed over 300 boxes and not a single war elemental...

The odds have been semi tested for supp v+ sigils and elemental sigils and its not looking good. Elemental isn't rare neither is supp however a good supp + sigil is 0.06% chance of dropping.. When you see streamers RU-vidrs etc with the perfect God roll supp sigils 3 of them ideally. They are in fact using a cheat engine. This is why streamers and RU-vidrs ruin the gaming space because regular players try to get these items and will never regardless of how much time they spend in the game.

I have 90 hours in this game and have not gotten it. watched this video and went to farming and in about 30 min i got war elemental. are we all crazy or is it true lmao.

I played 110 hours and didnt get a single WE or SD. Started to farm this for 40 runs no luck. Death, Taxes, and Goblins quest is where i got my luck. In about 120 runs (70 actual runs 50 afk runs) i got 4 WE, 2 SD, 2 SD+. You can still afk farm with 3 characters if they are strong enough and still get S++ or S+

Ok, where do you think the supp+ sigil would be more likely to get ? From which quest ? Proud I assume but which one ?

I just want to add to the data that I had afk farmed up roughly 350 curios on the lower difficulty next hot topic. Haven’t gotten one war elemental or supp 5. Only gotten supp 4+. Maybe just my luck. Probably going to try the harder difficulty one next.

well its kinda true based on my exp. that vulkan bolla is the one i was hunting the whole time to upgrade my damage cap sigils. appraised 100 curio boxes and boom. got 2 supplementary damage and war elemental.

Curios are not completely RNG if you save and reload your appraisals you will get the same sigils regardless. Curios are a set reward when you get the drop so the question is which quests can give you the rare drops.

You know, when you farm Sierke's tickets you can save before turning them in. You then get all the rewards, and if you don't like the rewards you can reload, complete a mission and then try again - you'll get different rewards. If you don't complete a mission and just retry after re-loading - you get the same rewards. Well, I tried this method with appraising curios - but despite the fact that I completed a mission I got the same rewards. So, my guess is - what you get by appraising curios is pre-determined. So, I think, you need to grind a specific quest because it gives specific curios with specific rewards.

Ok so I just happen to be farming this specific quest for awakened weapon, and i got it from a curiose I definitely got from Vulkan Bolla. I also got a Vulkan Bolla Anima with this batch so the theory that the mob u farm curioso on affects the loot seems to make a lot of sense

It is basically RNG at this point but yes... the stage of infernidile is by far the FASTEST of getting cur IF your doing SOLO... Got 2 War Elemental for 30 boxes and yep... it is laughable at this point. My friend who had farmed 1000 boxes was stunned and was about to quit the game but I did let him remember that the game is RNG 😅

You can also afk farm Hellfire if you are strong enough…

Just spend $3 dollars to trade for the hundreds of hours of potential farming on March 14th for War Elemental sigil, plus more items. A minute of my time is more valuable than that but to each their own

Supplementary 5+ is many, many times rarer than war elmental Someone rolled over a thousand and only got 3 5+ supplementary but loads of war elemental. All curio are same drop chance when they drop no quest affects there contents.

I got my War Elemental from Assault Formation, so my confirmation bias says that is the best farm for it 😅 RNG is RNG.

I can only unconfirm; Unlike a lot of other components in this game where there is mild RNG like Transmarvelling or chest drops in the town, curio drops are on a string. Easiest way to figure it out is to first save, open a batch of curios, record what you got, close the game and check again. You'll notice you get the same curios drops. Even down to the 2ndary lines if you get sigils with them.

I was helping my friend farm for Zeta upgrade stuff (which includes a lot of Vulkan parts), and got both supp damage and war elemental in a 16 curio box opening. There might be something to what you are saying here. Though it is worth saying my friend did not get the sigils.

I just wish there was an easier way to farm for Silver Centrums, these Terminus weapons require so much of em lol.

I think this is true, I farmed vulkan on maniac and opened 4x 10 boxes each and everything I got at least one of berserker v, suppl v, glass cannon v or war element. 4 times in a row is not RNG anymore in my book

OK what the fuck, the first quest I did of Vulcan Bola and its literrally a War elemental lvl 15 sigil on that 1 curio box. The slime one didn't work for me but this one this, this fucking rocks

Had 200 curios appraised, first time appraisal for me. Got two War elementals V and a supplementary IV. Sup dam is definitely a lot more rare, war elemental 1 percent drop chance it seems (although it could be one of the war elemental dropped from a boss, don't know if that is possible.)

I just did like 3 Vulkan bollas and let my 10 chests (3 Bolla, 7 others) be appraised and guess what, got a Supp DMG 5 (Havent gotten Sub or War Elemental in a loooong while) I'd say i'm either crazy or it definitely does favor Vulkan bolla in terms of orange sigil drops.

Delts of our lives hard mode for a fast curio farm Also you can save scum both curio and sigil ticket rolls by saving before rolling then if you dont get what you want then reload your save and go do a quest save and roll again, rinse and repeat.

Its all random, makes no difference where the curio came from

Not to flex or anything but I have 4 sup damage V and 4 war elementals. Got 2 sup damage IV+ but sold one when I was a noob and didn’t even knew sup damage dropped only from curios. Regardless I feel happy to be this lucky. I have 220 hours tho so I grinded a lot too.

Sigh, this is gunna be an artificial barrier for everyone, inflated game time because of two singles. Game is fun but what a way to ruin the fun of a game. Lovely
