Seofon for sure, he can summons swords like Gilgamesh from Fate Series and I can't wait to see him in action. I hope they add more characters in the future like some of my favorites like Chat Noir, Seox, Feather, Athena or Grimnir, I don't know, there are like thousands of cool characters in this franchise lol
The craziest thing to me about this game is that we literally have not even arrived at month one yet but we already got content on a plate for the months AFTER the release and the game already has 100 plus hrs of content with online co-op that's so insane to me. This game survived around 9 long years of development trouble but each year the feast that would be kept getting alittle better each time and we are gonna be eating what they cooked on the 10th year of 2024.
If they treat this game like a monster hunter game with frequent content patches every now and then. Keep hooking everyone up with new characters or even some of the gacha characters that have not gotten into the versus title yet and quests like they are already doing then this will be an easy JRPG or action RPG of the year candidate
Hopefully the game plays as well as it looks. I wouldnt mind paying for an expansion pack down the line, if the support in between is done well enough. Like free characters and updates.
Note for non-main GBF game players: For Seofon and Tweyen's names, if you know ye Old English that is where their names come from. Basically, it's 7 and 2 respectively. Those are their designated numbers in their group Eternals
For Tweyen don't think Zeta, think Metera from GBVS. They both mastered the rare ability to actually fly. If you have trouble you can go by her English name (Song). Think of her as a sniper because in the lore she has insane eyesight. She's also know for inflicting Paralysis, as well as like 15 other debuffs to enemies. So I'd imaging she will be a debuffer to cripple enemies in this as well. She's a great character and really glad to see her added. She should be really fun. I also don't usually play range units in games like this but for her I'll make an exception and she should be very mobile. The other 2 interest me less.
We might get an Eternal's story quest (coz of the way you recruit characters in Relink, you need to get a crewmate card and they drop on quests) on April since two members are getting added with Seofon and Tweyen
if Seofon ends up being similar in playstyle to Yang qin, that'd be great lol, the EN VA for Seofon is Alejandro Saab , aka the EN VA for Cyno in Genshin Impact & Jing Yuan In Honkai Starrail ( Yang qin's master )
Tweyan is who I'm most interested in. For melee already got options like Katalina and Narmaya For mage style there is Rosetta and Ferry ranged projectile style class was missing for me (I know there were characters like that, but none of them really hit the spot for me aesthetically) and she fills that role.
@@vicenttheprince capping? what about my statement is untrue? I said the existing ones didn't do it for me aesthetically. If you couldn't understand what aesthetic I wanted by the other characters I listed that is on you. lol
when it comes to the demo's playable roster, I suspect it'll be the main crew members (Gran/Djeeta, Katalina, Rackam, Io, Rosetta, and Eugen) and the 4 Dragon Knights (Siegfried, Percival, Vane, and Lancelot) will make up the bulk of the playable roster. Then for the last option I suspect it'll either be Ferry or Narmaya. Ferry due to her almost having joined the crew in the main game's story and thus being an important character, and if she's not playable in the demo it'll probably be Narmaya due to her being a fan favorite.
"We ate" That's how I know getting old - that made me legit pissed like someone called my mom a name. Hilarious. Anyway, great video homie. Hyped to hell and back for Re:Link and this gave me a heads up about the demo.
Probably a sure thing that of the 11 characters of the demo, 6 of them will be the grandcypher team in the story as the part of the story playable will be from the gameplay people at the press tour got to play. I expect the other 5 to be from the ones they have already shown off a lot too.
I thought I heard the demo releasing on the 1st. I have no idea where I heard it I just have been going through on that and hearing it hasn’t been confirmed kinda sucks.
I just realized I could probably force an all mage party to work at least for the main story, or hop online and have a bunch to choose from. I just wish there were male ones… manifesting
Story mode you always have to have the captain, gran or djeeta in the party so sorry your idea is not gonna work, but side quests and end game its whatever.
The fact ur talkibg about more raids equals content instead of story content is like the gbf bread and butter. The seofon (siete) raid is end game and in order to even survive it u need better weapons for the grid system and to do that u have to farm raids. But overall this looks so much more fun than rising and it hits more to the gbf feel than that so Im mega hyped and ready to double dip for pc and ps5.
@@TagTheLegend he’s really talented tho. So I can’t wait to hear his voice. Im prob gonna main tweyen or however u say her name😭 im an archer type of person
For the 11 playable demo characters, I'll hazard a guess we only need to guess half of them because there are 6 characters that are pretty much guaranteed and they are the main story crew: Gran/Djeeta, Katalina, Rackam, Io, Eugen and Rosetta. As for the rest, I'm gonna guess they'll be grouped into relations. Either all of them are in or out. The four Dragon Knight Boys (Lancelot, Vane, Percival, Siegfried) are likely to be bundled together, so are the Society pair (Zeta and Vaseraga). Outliers without any groups are Ferry, Narmaya, Ghandagoza, Charlotta and Yodarha. So if we need 5 more, maybe it's the 4 boys + Ferry, or Society + Naru, Charlotta and Yoda.
I think they will be the ones we have seen the most of, you know they want to keep some things hidden and some characters not shown off much to keep people who are on the fence a reason to want to play it. So I expect namaiya, lancelot, charlotta and siegfried as they have shown these 4 more than anyone (other than the 6 you mentioned)
@coniejuu3732 We saw Ferry for the the first time in 2017 and she was only shown again this year. I doubt she was scrapped so it's probably the same situation. Dont think both being how users means one was scrapped for the other considering Eugen and Rackam both being "gun character" doesn't mean much with both playing drastically different...but ig we just have to wait and see
@@Zalaphrax I stated scrapped because she’s clearly no longer apart of the main roster, as she was initially announced to be along with Charlotta, Percival and Lancelot. Cagliostro is said to be the final character within the base roster. Again, she’ll probably be a DLC/Update character, the same way like Seofon and Tweyen are. Unless, they have secret unlockable characters in the game and she’s one. I also didn’t say there couldn’t be two flying bow users. Ferry was only shown in 2016 but I get it. Hoping she ends up in it, even if it’s via an update.
Sucks the demo isn't on PC, really not happy about that. Seems this may be a case where Sony once again bought exclusive privileges but that's just what they do nowadays.
@@TheHeartThatRunsCold Yeah, @Brandonwdhood5611 is definitely high on something. FF12 is a turn based game via gambit system. Granblue Fantasy Relink is Action, full out. Nowhere near even FF7REMAKE/Rebirth Either. More FF16 action (but Granblue looks infinitely better). Brandon is weird.
@@Introversion399 FF12 is more "timer-based" than turn-based. But yeah, Relink doesn't really give off those same vibes as FF12 at all. This said, I would not mind having more timer-based RPGs either. Though Granblue is certainly setting itself up more towards action
only MC clothes will be change later to white uniform you see in trailers. asking job change in relink is just asking to dev to make entirely new character (which i prefer them to release more character) minus the voice over because in mobage itself each classes have their own passive and skills. while its not good as class system, some skills from other classes in mobage has been shown to be in gran/djeeta skill tree just like panacea from cleric or gravity from dark fencer(each character have 2 skill trees, offense and defense).
I wonder how endgame is gonna work if you want to just play by yourself. Will there be random AI characters or will you have to use your own and level them together ?
You use your own characters and builds. Everyone you recruit will need to be leveled up and spec'd separately if you want them to be efficient in your quests. EXP is shared between them though, so as long as you don't constantly swap out characters, they should all be equally leveled.
@@TheDkmariolink Watching the gameplay from other YT vids I have seen that characters not even in your party level up too. I expect that even characters you have not purchased will level up as well as it would be stupid you are at end game with all the characters, level 100 and your last character you purchase is level 1.
Basically you always have to build a team. Even if you just only ever use 4 character, 1 team, that still means you need to use skill points on them, collect and level their weapons and give them sigils to be capable to tackle end game. Question is, how good will the AI be at the end game. The real grind is just this, building the team getting, the rewards, gear, loot needed to level gear up, and of course some team comps are gonna work better in some quests than others so real real end game is maxxing out all characters, or playing with other people in a perfect team comp for the specific quest, people who have maxxed their character out.
@@Stinkyremy I wouldn’t mind leveling a character from level 1. More replay value to pus if you put your geared up characters with it it would make leveling easier.
The MC the captain gran or djeeta always have to be in the party but you dont have to play as them and you can choose your own party. That is only for the story though.
It cant handle it. Get a ps5. Dragons Dogma 2, Rise of the ronin, black myth wukong, visions of mana, first berserker khazan, final fantasy 7 remake, etc….
I was hoping for Metera’s re-reveal but they clearly scrapped her for Tweyen. Or she’ll be included as a future DLC character. But Tweyen is a really cool character as well.
@@diogoroquemarques7904 its kinda technical not saying she isnt trans but its complicated Like a short story about her would be she was once a dying young boy and his sister who he admired find a cure through a means of soul manipulation, using his sisters likeness as a doll the soul was placed into the new body and becoming pretty much immortal She now uses this new power deemed alchemy to pretty much body hop the soul between dolls hoping to create the perfect image of her sister Theres a lot more to it but thats just the simplified ver
no matter how good the game is if the localizer is Woke Bullcrap like versus rising, won't buy it. they need to assure they that they're fired the localizer and fixing it and ensure us that relink is in safe hands
the problem is all jrpg anime action games are jank af combat, its garbage. so i only like turn based. so sad noone can do combat like sekiro or monster hunter. is this one actually good? becasue like xenoblade3 was the biggest overhyped disaster ever
I hate TBC, I can stand it in casual games like south park or paper mario but taking TBC seriously when it is a menu simulator is a joke. You only have to look at the gameplay to see how much quality the combat in this game will be. The combat was designed by platinum, king at hack n slash gameplay, well spectacle hack n slash. The quest and loot structure is similar to monster hunter.
