Can definitely seeing myself play the homie lowain and bros and anila finally having her terry inspired moves in a fighting game is amazing messed with her abit in granblue fantasy but immediately replaced her with luffy 🤣

Month late Lore dump! Anila is one of the Twelve Divine Generals, a group of warriors associated with a specific divine animal. Each year a general will be designated as the Year Spirit and the previous Spirit will pass on their duties as the year spirit to another. In simple terms they're the Chinese zodiac as cute anime girls. Currently, we've met nine of the twelve generals. Their main task is to maintain and cleanse Kleshas, a force that is generated by and generates negative emotions. If Kleshas are allowed to build up it causes negative emotions to grow stronger and potentially infect others. This usually isn't a problem because the Divine Generals exist. They possess a special bell called a Joya that serves as a sort of cup that absorbs the negative thoughts and desires of the skies. However it has a limit to how many it can hold and needs to be cleansed regularly because if it overflows it causes problems and becomes a Klesha super spreader. Anila is the General representing the Divine Sheep, compared to the other Generals she's usually one of the more responsible and level-headed generals. She's also the first Divine General the crew meets - she joins up due to the crews association with just about everything Astral. You see, every General has duties outside of maintaining Kleshas and Anila's is monitoring Astral presence in the Sky Realm thus, the crew and their goal of reaching Eustalucia alongside Lyria just existing is more than enough to pique Anila's interest. Since she's the first Divine General released in the Gacha she's been in a lot of stories and it'd take small book to properly go over them all, but the take away is she's done a lot and is one of the stronger Generals. She shares a few traits with the other Generals, as a rule most are somewhat prone to distraction and procrastination. Depending on where the Divine Generals Assembly takes place it can take either a short span of time or days to even get started, but she also shares a passionate dedication to her role and responsibilities. And for the simps, yes. She is legal, Anila is 18 years old when she joins the crew. Edit: As brief bit of trivia I forgot, each Divine General also has a move that resembles a characters special move from SNK. In this case, Anila references Terry Bogard, using his Power Gieser and Buster Wolf. It would appear the Granblue devs are SNK fans.

Seeing these intros and interactions between several of the crew members makes me wonder how the character interactions will be in the likes of Relink. I'm hoping that Anila and/or other members of the Divine Generals will also be in Relink. ( As well as Eternals, Evokers, etc. ) I also kind of want to also try to get Anila in the main Granblue game via a Premium Gala Draw.
