I visited South rim Grand canyon last August. Wonderful. Went to see Hoover dam on the way and saw it by night fully illuminated. It was a day trip from Las Vegas from 6.00 am to 11.00 pm. Finished the night at Fremont Street... Yes !

Great video. I had exactly the same experience just two weeks ago. In addition, we traveled to Page, AZ to see the Antelope Canyon. Wow! That was the most wonderful sight which you could ever see. My whole trip all around the canyon and down to the Colorado river boat ride was a dream came true.

Great video. I have been to the West Rim of Grand Canyon and also to the South Rim. We drove from Las Vegas. West Rim is not that great compared to South Rim. West Rim is expensive too. I didn't took the Helicopter ride. May be next time I will do that. Grand Canyon is amazing. If you like mother nature, this place is awesome.

Beautiful! But all of these people walking to the edge like they did. ....are crazy. Earth quakes have happened in the eastern United States before so they can definitely happen this far west. And that's not to mention some crazy person who just happened to be behind you. I wouldn't walk to the edge for anything. Great video though! ☺ Thanks for sharing!

Grand Canyon is so Beautiful. Just sad that is beeing ruined by tourism like that, Imagine what it would like if there wasn´t all the noise from people and especially helicopters flying around every 5 mins.

Where the helicopters land is nowhere near as nice as the South Rim. The landing site is on Native American property.

Yes, it's quite beautiful, but it's irritating to be backpacking into the canyon, or being on a mule, and hear/see one of those loud helicopters fly overhead. They should either stay much higher up, or go to a remote section of the canyon, where there's a small chance of someone being disturbed.
