I remember a time when people said that Kislev would never be a playable faction, and certainly not Cathay. I always chose to believe that CA would work towards fully fleshing out the Warhammer Fantasy world and so far, they’ve excelled beyond my wildest imaginations. It feels surreal to see all of the pieces come together like this. I remember when WH1 launched and how big the world felt. Then WH2 dropped, followed by Mortal Empires. CA has tackled a monumental task with humility and patience and I really believe they do not get nearly enough credit.

Meow Ying leads the greatest warroars in all of CAThay. If only Fateweaver had the foresight to bring a laserpointer.

A balanced roster consisting of hardy infantry lines bolstered by a versatile assortment of ranged troops, artillery and powerful magicians? So Cathay is the Empire of this game, isn't it?

Maybe this was a bit ambitious, but I was hoping for more verticality in the map design along the wall. Something like Minas Tirith or the Wall from Game of Thrones. The only way to scale the wall is through the gate or flying/wall climbing units.

Tzeench should send the some flying hero first to empty enemy ammunition.

Beyond hyped!!! Years in the making this game will be legendary.

Looking great but the high number of close up cinematic shots made it hard to keep track of the fight, other than the units looking pretty I didn't get much from this trailer. Would have appreciated something more like the Warhammer 2 gameplay battle demos where it has more of a balance of field overview and cinematic shots

Disappointed by this siege "rework" ngl. Was hopping for full settlements instead of the same on wall.

I personally think it would be cool to see Kairos fateweaver having a campaign mechanic where he could see the AI armies next turn move at all times and not just when using the Tzeentch faction mechanic. It could also be a cool unique mechanic if he could only see the armies past and future moves, but not where they are currently at. This is difficult to implement right, but if done correctly would be so fun and unique in the game. I just really hope his past and future seeing isn't just implemented as stat boost. As an example of the mechanic try to imagine a Cathay army. You could see that last turn it was in a settlement, and if you dont change it then it will move to another settlement next turn. You could then try and guess where the amy was currently to intercept it or you could setup an ambush infront of the other settlement. Hard for new players and old players to play with, but would be fun and interesting to utilize. It could be a campagin turn on/off mechanic if you don't want it because it's to unique for you.

I think they might be confirming with this vid that there will be a toggle for flying units (or at least lords). In most of the vid Kairos is seen flying about the map, but in the end you see him calmly walking on the ground!

I'm sorry, But Miao Yings travel animation looks ridiculous, she looks like she's slipped on ice and can't stop, I really don't understand what was wrong with just you know...walking and running

I would like to see more in game stuff and less cinematic scenes. It's hard to evaluate how both factions will play.

The chaos, long united must divide, the realms of men long divided must unite.

I don't want to be strict because this is a fantasy world after all, but that infantry unit armed with shields and spears should use actual spears instead of two handed halberds. It makes them look way too clunky and impractical.

funny that there werent any tzeentch chaos warriors in this video, might just be that they are redesigning them as we speak, as for the disc riders, even if the chaos warrior model on top is a reskin the unit itself still looks cool and thats why they kept that variant in the video, this is just baseless speculation but i do feel like we have a few surprises in store for us.
