Did this with my 2004 Grand Cherokee. I used this spray called "Deep Creep" I bought at Auto Zone and it helped release those stuck on rusted together parts. Don't think I could have gotten it apart without it.
Hi Brother great work. It was really stuck on there. The rust was holding it in. Good idea sand paper. The pad looks okay has a bit of life left on it. I will tune in for part two. big like
DO you have a diagram were the brake cable is attached to the part that applies (or moves) the e brake shoes? I replaced the backing plate and had trouble attaching the cable to that mechanism.
