Today we picked up our #Momentum #395ms . We look forward to starting this next leap of faith to #SwitchItUp and start traveling in 2021. There is a lot to learn and we have some modifications to make before we leave but we keep getting closer. Follow along as we share our journey.

Hey guys. My wife and I have been planning for a long time. Thinking of a big 5th wheel as well. Can you talk a little about getting over (the fear of) the height of the rig and how not to run into overpasses that are too low? What have you experienced that you can't do because your rig is so long/high?

Hey Michael - We use a Garmin designed for the RV where we put in the height of our rig and it navigates the overpasses for us. We have not ran into an issue on height yet but length we have. Most state parks and national parks do not have roads or sites that accommodate our length, we also (even though when making the reservation said we were 45' long plus tow vehicle) got to an RV site and with the placement of the trees there was no way we were going to get turned into the site. But other than that 1 time and having to look closely at site sizes it's been pretty good. Looks like the newer parks are going to 100' length sites since we've been seeing some 50-60' RV's out here....crazy! Let us know if we can help in any way.

The one we ordered was being delayed due to waiting on air conditioners.....it didn't look like it would arrive until way past when we were wanting to leave. We got lucky and the same floor plan minus the full body paint showed up as dealer stock. So we just took that one so we could hit the road.

Looks like you chose the 395ms! You guys had the same concerns we did choosing between the 399th and 395ms! So how do y’all like your choice?

We are happy.. we have some modifications coming... we are adding 2 slide out bins to the bottom of rig.. I will use those for hose containers and the other one for electrical connections.. this way I still have some room in the small basement area... we will see.. so far so good...
