This year marks the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Luxemburg and Japan, and His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, who has a long and friendly relationship with the Imperial Family of Japan, visited Japan with his eldest daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra. On November 28, Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan escorted Their Royal Highnesses to Tsukuba Space Center of Japan Aerospace Exprolation Agency, JAXA. It is a core facility for Japan’s space development program, and located in Tsukuba City, the largest academic city in Japan. Japan has worked together with many countries including Luxemburg in the area of space development and various plans are also being lined up for the future.
