Amazing performance from EG. They were better in every category you can imagine. I was really impressed by the aim of each player of EG. Constant head shots in different parts of maps.
Very poor setup with screens. Inferno 1v1 between stanislaw and gla1ve - double fake from gla1ve and it was pretty obvious the crowd gave the fake away. You can even see how Stanislaw starts rotate immediately and then goes back around the same moment gla1ve does. Event coordinators did a poor job.
I was thinking the same, there were a few sketchy events throughout the match. Either crowd reading or straight up cheating. This should not be a thing in a pro match.
muteza yup - they sit super close to the crowd. So easy for the dead and ram members to look at crowd for reactions. You can see how gla1ve reacts as well - he knows the home crowd is selling his fake.
@@Vlad-ek2up ik EG aren't that good anymore, but they could have won this event without the crowd, they were in great form. A crowd doesn't make up for a 23 round difference across 4 maps lol
Brehze better be in top 5 or top 7 for 2019... there are still 3 months left so he can do even more... but he better be in top 7 atleast or I would be bit sad :(
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Take a look at the statistics, he isn't even top 10. They did fuck all for like 5 months then had a decent Berlin major and a good esl one new York... So overhyped.
The first map EG rushed everything. Really cool strat by them. Astralis usually takes it pretty slow and methodical, but they were not expecting that. I'm interested to see them go up against liquid because Liquid is both of those teams combined. And tbh i was a little excited to see Astralis get absolutely worked for a change
Reason is EG literally prepared as hard as astralis would for a major. Its a sad excuse but astralis dont prepare much for minors you could even see it in this tournament. EG on the other hand you can see prepares hella well. Now look at astralis in majors especially vs NRG, they literally cant be stopped. They fucking havent for 3 damned majors. Also otherwise known as Majorstralis
EG read TA well on their CT sides. TL or TA still fighting for #1 spot atm, we'll see soon if EG could stay consistent. They have great chemistry right now after stanislaw entered.
Astralis looks so amateur against EG (nrg), how eg read astralis strategy, every astralis change strategy, eg can read it in 2 or 3 round. Also xyp9x play in this final not good in my opinion. Astralis really in under pressure especially from map 2. First time see astralis like this. Good game for EG #IMO
Xyp had some bad games, he usually is very consistent, but you know you just can't keep up sometimes. They must be pretty tired from the major and probably used all of their strategies in it, so eg was prepared for it.
Cause astralis didn't prepare. although eg is top caliber they are the underdogs. I'm not a astralis fan but if they do their homework the game would def be more exciting. Stan is very smart and it would be insane seeing a stratbook battle against glaive.
@@mankiratsingh7483 Aaaaaannnnddd........ EU still couldn't win imagine how embarrassing that must be. And the NA win is one of the must iconic and memorable majors ever btw.
tbh nrg should've won starladder imo, i don't think astralis was the better team in starladder i just think they played a better series, eg is the top 1 rn
imo utility play is overrated anyways, would love to see a team play without that expensive utility menacing, saves tons of money and if u watch how often a player gets caught and killed with a grenade in his hand, plus u always give away your position which is the worst part about it, I rly think this "overbuying" of nades just aint worth it
They didnt hide shit . They weren't prepared vs EG . They were prepared more for liquid or any other team except of EG. You can clearly see the way their standard game was crushed by EG as they didnt have any idea how they play nor to counter them.
I wouldn't consider EG(NRG) the underdogs in this final. They each won a bo3 off each other at the major and EG beat them in the groupstage of New York already. It was shaping up to be a banger, and it was for EG fans.
Astralis didn't care... If it isn't a major it doesn't matter. Nobody remembers last years esl one new York winner... Everyone remembers the past 6 major winners.
Astralis be like don't play before majors for 2-3 months , secretly develop strategy.new strats ez majors and when teams study them again they get clapped xD
EG got help from the crowd. The 1v1 Glaive vs Stannislaw at Inferno is so obvious. You could see stan able to guess precisely when glaive wanted to go A Bombsite, down to banana and then decide to go back to B site. Somehow Stannislaw also rotate at the same time as him, also stop rotating when glaive decided to go back. That's too obvious. Clear unfairness.
It was igl vs igl. They both expected the other igl to react to the crowd so gla1ve thought he listened to the crowd and gone A instead stan still waited on b since he is also Igl game sense. Even though crowd was giving the rotation they both gambled one fake
