Wow @mat12128 I never comment on any video but have to with this one. Can't believe you've retired from doing this, you will be greatly missed by the millions. The award goes to yourself for doing an outstanding job in educating the public about what to expect from those who sworn to protect and serve us.
there are no "millions" - in his own words "18 month old to 4 yr old kids" - he's an absolute moron and you cannot retire from a hobby which consists of annoying the police.
That PC was an absolute disgrace, completely lacking in any people skills coupled with a sense of her own importance. She was desperate to abuse her power but hadn't got enough intelligence to see it through and was visibly wilting. She was completely out of her depth. The other two muppets with her were not much help, not sure whether they were embarrassed for her or didn't have a clue. Thanks for everything Matt.

That's the standard operating procedure for police, and their egos will not let any member of the public disagree or not comply with even their made-up laws. In my opinion, if the law has not been broken, move on, if there are any "real concerns" covertly follow up, the constant BS about "I'm sure you can understand" and it's a "security concern" etc. The female officer's attitude was nothing BUT ego, and bullying, she was wrong and would not back down or behave reasonably, and that's how she will approach ANY members of the public and that's why when Juries made up of the general public deliberate they have little to no respect for police evidence anymore because in interactions they have had the police behave like this sill bully.
Thanks Mat (and dear Oscar) for all you have done. That certainly was a finale of finales. What a horrible and vile attitude 7331 had and wonder why she is in this job as she clearly has a problem with engaging/communicating with people properly. Her ego and manner took over her ability to speak and conduct herself as per the law and she was throwing anything at you so she could try to assert/abuse her powers over you. Again by the other three standing around not only is wasting resources and time they were also backing her up and all 4 in this situation should be ashamed of themselves.

Officer eyebrows needs to learn how to speak to the public, actually on second thoughts she needs sacking, she is an absolute embarrassment to the police force.
She was so embarrassed after you put her in her place well done this video needs to be a part of police training on how to not to conduct yourself while talking to the general public.

What an irritating piggy sow on a power trip,as a retired sargeant recently said that the women are unable to let go and tend to make incidents worse as they want the last word,that being said a few WPCs have been professional but most are in your face.Altogether a great audit and you saw them off with a red card,well done all the best!
That inexperienced WPC embarrassed herself and her colleagues by trying to abuse her authority. Her ego got the better of her and she got schooled. Hopefully this tyrant will learn from this and be re trained (or sent to work in the canteen making the tea for the guy who makes the coffee) and stop trying to overpower innocent members of the public with her nonsense. Threats and bluffs probably work 90% of the time. These auditors are a tiny percentage of people who know their rights re photography/filming law, and are brave enough to call the police's bluff. Most people would just cave and obey. And I don't judge them for that, because no one wants to lose their job, get their life ruined etc.
Ignorant of the law in her host country and thinks she can bully the people. She saw a man with his dog and thought he was an easy target - big mistake. And to call him, an ex vet, a terrorist is just unacceptable imo. I would lock her up for her abuse if I was a judge!

Well done. The moment they say they don't need to tell you they've turned their cameras on is the moment they break policy and would warrant a complaint. Because of their behavior and lack of truthfulness I would complain and have their conduct investigated. From Australia I've watched and enjoyed many of your videos. Matt it's been very educational watching your content. Oscar has been a star, sometimes helping to keep the peace, when uniforms rant and bark orders. Plenty of people will have taken your lead and started their own photography and video channels. I'm new here Matt but I'm sad to hear that you're retiring! Auditing is so important because we need people like you to fight on behalf of the public to keep the police professional and make sure they carry out their duties properly and operate within and uphold the law. The fight will never end because they have grown complacent and corrupt due to their being only accountable to themselves. You are one of the good auditors so hopefully the retirement is not permanent!

Yes, that woman is a disgrace. She is possibly the one who phoned me in Cumbria, after my ex-spouse made a complaint about me, after I phoned her once. It was this police station Her son who was caretaking a local pub at the beginning of COVID, thought it was a good idea to go to the police station. Anyhow, her attitude 'stunk'. Upon my brother's advice, I contacted Exeter to make a complaint. Her Sergeant, bless him, called me back, apologised, and informed me that she would be given advice.

Your work is very valuable. That woman PC had no grounds to demand his name and had the audacity to accuse him of an offense! Please make a complaint, it will be a means for them to learn the regulations properly.

They cannot seem to grasp the fact that when they switch on their camera they become a data handler under GDPR and it is a persons legal right to request a copy of that recording, however, if they fail to notify the person at the earliest opportunity, that person may not be aware a recording could be available to cover their defence if required. A member of the public does not have to notify them if recording they are not a government body in a public place. Not all members of the public have a camera, so need to know that there is a recording of the interaction.
I understand why you feel its time to draw the curtains,it's been a wonderful experience watching your uploads over the years (seems like). You have made history and will not be forgotten for the education you have given us all. A true legend and stalwart. Sadly missed from active service.
