Grand Finals. OatsnGoats vs Zoast vs ShinyZeni vs Behemoth87. Super Metroid 100% Tournament 2020. 

The Mount Rushmore of Super Metroid.

I tried to qualify for this tournament, seeing as this was my first ever speedrunning tournament ever, even more so for Super Metroid. I didn't make it past the qualifiers, but even though I was heart broken, I was touched by how friendly this community is. They've shown me new strats, helped me pulling them off, and even as I watch this now, I am getting new ideas on how to beat my own PB. As of now I'm 227th in the leaderboards, but I'm sure that I can make it to the top 200 really soon! This grand finals is so inspiring, I don't want to stop until I can compete on this level.

Hahaha! Zeni with that baby Metroid skip made me jump out of my seat. One of the best races! I'm a big fan of all racers!

This was an absolute incredible race. Finally being able to watch after 3 years & getting a chance to see the GOATs of Super Metroid 100%. Thank you to the commentary for the enthusiasm & hype. It was welcomed, entertaining, & overall a blast!!

Man, the commentary was decent. I don't care about the overhype, it was fine for me. Behemoth CRUSHED and he didn't get the love he deserved :( Almost no recognition by commentary in the whole race.

I get that commentating isn't easy, and I'm sure I'd be dreadful, but sometimes less is definitely more. Great race nonetheless.

God tier speed tech by all 4 runners. Poor commentary aside, great way to line up the final.

Race was amazing aside from Hockey overhyping every single thing that happened. "BAH GAWD WE'RE FOUR FOR FOUR ON PICKING UP THIS EXTREMELY EASY TO GET MISSILE PACK!!!!!!!!!!!". I get that you were excited, hell we all were, but screaming about every little thing really killed this race for me. Zeni getting that Springball baby skip, hell fucking yeah....everyone getting the mockball to get early supers, nice to see of course but not really something to be yelling about......

the race was great, the commentary not so much. also how did behemoth win, when zoast was 10s faster?

The race was solid fun, but the announcers need to chill. They really need to stop using words and phrases they don't understand and out of context.. They also need to quit kissing each others butts..

Great finish but Hockey....he needs to tone it down by about 3000%. Made it really hard to watch.

I'm glad the commentators had fun, but I'm also much gladder about who came last. Hopefully it helps them get off their high horse and do something about their toxic community.
