Nice review Matt. We're going to stay at Nusa Dua soon, just wondering if you have any experience at Merusaka resort, which is just next door.? On another note, I agree, The TV station is actually a disgrace for a 5 star hotel in this day and age. It's not just that us customers are fussy, mind you - it's relative also to the price you're made to pay. Higher prices, higher expectations. You didn't shoot any footage of the bathroom/shower/tub area, I think the fixtures are really dated as well?
Which Nusa Dua beach resort would your recommend as the most fun for ages 22, 25, 41 & 51. Family of 6 adults looking for a beautiful beachfront resort that is FUN! Drinks, Music, Dinners, etc. Thanks!
I can inform you, there is no such thing as a "King" mattress in this hotel, even the high end suites, I have complained about this for years and it falls on deaf ears, the hotel has not had an upgrade since it opened 25years ago, the bamboo blinds in the room, reception decor all the same, but they do have a saving grace, Club Lounge, that's why I return as no Marriott property has a lounge in Bali.
I like the way you pronounce "Hyatt" (Hy-Yuttt), sir!. You make it sound like the place is for the bourgeois / aristocrat. Anyway, my wife and I will be in Bali next year and we are thinking about staying at either Westin Nusa Dua or Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua. The price is about the same. But having watched your videos I think it's no brainer... Westin kicks Grand Hyatt's behind. Thanks for the reviews 👍
I beg to differ. My wife and I have been to Nusa Dua 5 times in the last 6 years and we have stayed at the Grand Hyatt, Westin and Melia. Grand Hyatt is by far the best. We always pick the East Village to access the Grand Club. We get upgraded to the Ambassador suite every time we stay there. The place is fantastic. I do agree the bed can be better. That seems to be a common issue throughout the Hyatt chain. If money isn't an issue for you, try St Regis.
