Thats how it supposed to be done in trunk set up! Bandpass box 4th order or 6th ported thru the rear deck! None of this rear facing rattling the trunk shit! Spend the extra money and get it done right! The bass should be in the interior, not wasting energy rattling the trunk! This is how you do it, done right! All !!! hahaha Awesome setup!

Out of all the builds I've had in my car (2013 Honda Accord), 2 12s in a 4th order bandpass with the port firing through the rear deck has been the best sounding setup. Virtually no trunk rattle, all bass flowing right into the car, unobstructed. It was so loud and clean. I recommend a 4th order bandpass setup to anyone who has a car (if you don't mind porting through the rear deck).

I just got 2 sundown sa 8 nothing to fancy just wanted to add some clean bass and was thinking about what box enclosure but after seeing this I might go for it with the port firing the same way.What do you think about running 2 8's in crown Victoria?

Did you seal the cabin from the trunk? Even though you ported to the rear deck just so that the sound doesn't go back into the trunk.

@@Luminous.Dynamics nah, we didn't seal the cabin from the trunk or anything. I didn't find it necessary since sealing off the cabin with this particular setup wouldn't yield any significant results.

I would guess they are the v2s which you could run on a 3k all day if they were d4s but only at .5 because they are d2s but im sure everything is properly set up so they are seeing that 2-3k and the most at 55 which will match the extreme efficient of the enclosure.

Not hating but he just added like 1000lbs of needless crap into his car lol. His gas must be higher. Car must be slower. And his engine must be taking a beating. I learned this long ago. To be as conservative as possible when it comes to aftermarket stuff. If anything try to make the car lighter not heavier.
