Best 22 pistol in the world right here guys! NO MIM parts, no cast components either, a steel slide too. Most 22 pistols use pot metal, and cheap die cast parts.
I just purchased a K22 and the salesman in the Grand Power company store said that they've modified the shape of the firing pin so it doesn't get damaged when dry-fired. I thought it's something worth mentioning, just so you know if you get your hands on a newer version.
Great review, it's nice to see these in their normal format as opposed to the 12" barrel monstrosities we have in the UK. They're becoming quite popular over here despite costing the equivalent of $1000 for a basic one....
ApurtureSci Hey, I read a review of a grand power K22. as I often read reviews from the UK, after looking at the picture of the pistol in the review, I noticed some steel bar coming out of the grip, and a fake suppressor. I started to feel bad for you guys. Why do they have such silly laws for a 22 pistol? Anyways these K22 pistols are the best 22 pistol in the states from a build quality point of view.
Just purchased this gun and love it...chewes up 500 rds so far not one jam , I would like to swap out the sights for somethin like night sights or tricon pipes but don't know where or what size to look for. Can you help with that or supply a link? Thanx for a great table top review!!
@@GBGuns Thanx Graham...will check it out. There should be a place ppl could go to to buy aftermarket stuff for this piece. I'll try my local gun club to see if anyone else bought items for this gun I don't know where to try.
I have to get one of these, my dealer can't get one so I guess it's gunbroker to save the day again. Wish it was a 9mm with that slide look but 22 is fun also.
When this was filmed zero. Tabletop reviews are fresh out of the box. We shot a few hundred for the Shooting Impressions video and a few hundred since then.
chaburchak This is the highest quality 22 pistol you can buy to date. No MIM parts, no CAST parts. No POT metal anywhere. Plus, they use a machined steel slide. These are quality guns. All of our USA made 22 pistols are junk and made of cheap cast aluminum components. Ruger SR22, m&p22 they are both very cheap smaller versions of a real gun. While the Grand-power K22 is a pistol built by the total opposite mind set. So yes, the Top of the line GP K22 X-Trim is around $579 for a 22 pistol, it is worth it. The X-Trim has a 2.75lbs single action trigger, with custom machined slide, and steel Name brand target sights.
