Terrific race and a special shout-out to whoever directed the coverage over the last two laps. Top job, considering they had obviously never seen a motorcycle race before. Or possibly a TV set
What an awesome race. Those 3 had no business finishing that race. Stoner crashed twice at 1, westy was out of the seat thrice, RDP across the paddock. Just awesome.
Hiroshi dominated the first half of it but after he crashed at Reigate the race came alive De Puniet, West and Stoner going for it but once De Puniet had the almost crash at Crainer there was only going to be 1 winner of this race and that was Randy De Puniet
My wife and I had paddock access on this day, courtesy of Dunlop, and I saw the KTM come out of the paddock garage and I was astounded. First time I'd seen it, as I had a connection to Harald Bartol, as my Yamaha RD 350 LC had been tuned by him(stupidly quick). What a result for the first time out! Fantastic effort for the rain wizard, Westy! For a country that is pretty much dry, they produce a lot of riders that are handy in the rain, or is is a result of coming through the ranks in the British championships?
hello mate. do you have anymore full races with this commentary team recorded off eurosport? This was the golden era of bike racing with Mamola in the pit lane and toby and julian in the box. thanks
@@racinghome657 2003 MotoGP Donington upload please!! A weekend to remember that was! Amazing weather and the best sounding machines that ever graced the championship.
I recorded them and burnt them to DVD, I don't post much motogp as dorna block some of the races or ask for cuts. It's ironic because I've got a motogp video pass and the archive from 1992 onwards appears to have been removed.
the archive is still there, you have to go to the video section in the main page, then click on browse and then select full sessions or highlights and the year
